Customer Service at point of disembarkation International horrible Missed our Connection International because JET flight was late no Help with Transfers etc from JET staffing Website not user friendly Always asks to pay for seats even 12 hours before departure For my booking PNR OTIVJG JET asked me to verify my phone and email, passport details etc everytime we went t to manage booking JET IT department has a lot of work to improve WOULD not recommend JET international flights YET to my fellow USA travellers till they improve their services and Fleet of planes. In all JET flights we took International the last 2 rows of seats are reserved for JET Air hostesses to sleep.? something new I have seen in my 30 + years of travelling where Aitline staff reserve seats to sleep on International flights? a max 12 hours shift we normally work in our regular life
Food was awfully spicy. You all should consider making a passenger comfortable. I requested a different seat as I was stuck in a middle seat between 2 very large men. I was finding it hard to breathe as one of them was half way into my space. Considering I paid for a seat to myself, your staff should be trained to make sure I get my space. I was told the flight is very packed. But I did see a couple of empty seats later as I walked in the aisle.
2nd time with Turkish Airlines; no concerns. Everything handled timely and professionally.
Priority boarding was messed-up - no queue discipline was even attempted by the gate staff. The business class seats were uncomfortable and not comfortable to sleep in. The footrest was not long enough and the feet were dangling in the air. The blanket and bedding was provided almost 3 hours after take-off Worst of all was baggage handling. Our luggage was severely damaged. The handle to the suitcases was torn off. In addition the bags and the contents were wet when we received them in Boston. IT had been raining in Istanbul and it seems the bags were left out in the open. I've been trying to get Turkish to repair the torn-off handles but I'm constantly hitting a wall. I have filed a claim but the support staff sends extremely brief denials with no explanation.
The flight itself was very nice quality again. Crew was very friendly, priority boarding for international business. pod seating was super comfortable.
No alcohol beverage service before take off. One of the only airlines that does this. Also flight was delayed again in Istanbul. We were delayed on our layover in, and out of Istanbul. Both times stuck on the tarmac. I see this as a common problem
Food and entertainment
They ran out of select drinks on the plane. Boarding was a pain!!! They had the longest security checks, and it was extremely chaotic. Seating was crowded.
Typical short business class. Quality was still nice. Room to spread out and crew was accommodating
No priority boarding for business. And still no beverage service before take off (alcohol).
