Pros: We loved the new renovations. The colors are very warm and calming. Plenty of storage room. The pool area has a much larger feel without the split wall. As always the staff here are 5 star. They are always helpful with a smile, concerned about your comfort and quick to correct anything not just right. Even with full renovations going on. This is why we stay here exclusively while in Phx. Food is always hot, fully prepared and plenty provided. Coffee and soft drinks availability is wonderful. We used the small snack area nightly for an ice cream desserts. They are pet friendly and the pet areas are clean and always stocked with waste bags.

Cons: In the smaller suite on floor 5 (room 526) the air was not filtering into the seating area? The staff went out of their way to purchase a box fan to help. With the main airconditioner in the bedroom it just does not cool the area. You have a freezing bedroom, hot seating room. Also it is extremely dark without any window in the front room. When available we did move to a bigger suite. Pool area tile needs to be upgraded to a non slip pool flooring. We watched 3 accidents with kids while sittting in the pool area. It is very hazardous, a real accident is going to happen.

My wife and I stayed in a Hilton Gardens Inn in Hawaii about a month ago with totally different experience. 100% satisfaction. I cant say that about Phoenix/Happy Valley.

The tub dripped a lot we had to close the bathroom door , so we could sleep. Then we were going to be out all day, so I did not want to move all of our stuff. So we just stand the last night in the same room. No housekeeping came in to clean the room. Sunday morning I took a shower the shower head comes off and sprayed all over. I had to wet myself and then soap up and rinse myself off. What an adventure this was. Me and my mom were not happy with this and I will not be staying here again.

Cons: I constantly felt a little nervous walking around the parking lot because there was always a group of people morning or night that were just standing around staring at you as you walked to or from your vehicle. Nothing ever happened but just made you feel weird and a tiny bit unsafe at times.

Cons: I guess I was expecting something a little nicer but it was a Motel 6 after all so maybe I was forgetting that. The location was ok and it was clean but the bed was terrible and a full size, not a queen and for only one bed in the room it was too small. I was really dissapointed so after sitting in the room for about 90 min and deciding that I just didn't want to stay there I went to the front desk to ask to get my money back. I just couldn't picture myself actually sleeping in that room but I was told that I had been in the room too long to get a refund. Very dissapointed. Will not ever stay there again.

The bathroom wash basin had some permanent stains all over the place though it was clean ( no idea where those stains came from ). the lock on my door was not good and it was a nightmare to open the door from inside and couple of times i thought i got locked in the room. room had no refrigerator as well. second day I requested a change and the other room was little better. Overall they can do much better on keeping the upholstery a little bit more clean.

Pros: The motel had a major computer problem and could not make room keys. The staff was very gracious and helpful in getting us in to our rooms when we needed. Unfortunately some guests were angry and didn't try to be understanding; however the staff remained very professional during this crisis.
Cons: The only think warm about the "Warm Breakfast" was a waffle. The coffee in the breakfast line, both mornings was very weak (colored water). However the coffee in the lobby was good.
