I liked nothing about my experience with Enterprise. I will never do business with them again.

Cons:

Potentially having my car at the location it was reserved would be a start? When we got to the service counter it was closed directing people downstairs. When I got down there the Enterprise Agent Tyler told me my car/reservation was at another Enterprise location. He then proceeded ignore any and all followup questions I had and instead proceeded to talk to customers behind me as if I didn't exist. I've honestly never been treated so poorly in my life. Avis had my in a car 30 minuets later. Never again will I even consider Enterprise, such an awful company to close the entire service desk and direct people through one terrible agent.

Honestly one of the worst pickup experiences I’ve ever had. I got to my pickup location and the sales team told me the rental team went home! So I had to pay to go back to the airport where the line took an hour and then getting me in the car took another hour. The amount of time wasted was bad business. I then got the Tesla with under 50% charge so I had to charge it before I reached my destination 100 miles away. Absolutely appalled overall

Hertz pick up store was 32 miles away from PHX airport. Had to Uber to that location before it closed at 5:30 PM. When we arrived at the pick up location, the counter agent said that we had arranged for the pick up time hours earlier and they had rented our reserved car to someone else. In addition, they had no other cars to rent at that location. All they said was "sorry" and instructed us to explain that no other vehicles were available. Kayak should refund our money. We then had to again UBER back to PHX Car Rental Center to get another vehicle. Two UBER trips totaling over $100.00 just to move to the pickup sight and return to the PHX Car Rental Center. We expect to be issued a refund for our car rental price at the least. This was a nightmare.

Terrible! The location of pick up changed so I had wasted 2 hours finding a ride to pick up car and spending $38 to get to that location. It was a horrible pick up at that location as they would not release my car as I did not have the original credit card I reserved it with. More time wasted. Ended up calling the Hertz main phone line and finally spoke with someone knowledgeable and able to assist me

Car was due back by 9:00 am on Sunday. I dropped keys in the drop box before the place opened at 8am. And yet you charge me a late fee? Seriously BS

Cons:

Counter person at pick up in airport was not one bit helpful after he told us we booked pick up at a different Avis office 30 mins away. Next he told us that office was closed for the day. Said he could not help and to call Uber for ride to hotel. Called help number later that day, no help either.

Cons:

The car had a speed cap on it and I was driving from one state to another. I couldn't speed up with large semi's were merging onto the interstate and could not go with the flow of traffic. I had to drive this way for 3.5 hours before reaching the nearest Avis in Yuma. There they told me to switch cars but then said they didn't have any cars left for rental. When they couldn't reverse the speed cap on my car they somehow found another car available and I was able to take that one the rest of my way. I was promised a refund on my rental and I got 20$ back on an over 200$ rental. Not only was it very unsafe and an inconvenience, but I missed getting to California by my deadline by over an hour. Would never recommend this to anyone.

My mistake, but I booked at a location 30miles from the airport and so...., of course I had a huge fee to pay to drop off at the airport when returning. AND, an uber fee to get me to the rental car location when we arrived at the airport. Car had many bings and scratches so that was a pain to take the time to go through that + later notices some plastic panel underneath the car that was hanging down almost to the ground. Inside of windshield was filthy so when the sun was directly shinning in it was dangerous driving.

The rental desk was well staffed with four agents. But, after you complete the paperwork you go down stairs to have a car assigned to you. It's not like other airports where the keys are in the car and you just go pick out a car in your rental class. At PHX, they actually walk you out to the car one-by-one. And, since there was ONE employee walking people out to the cars, it took FOREVER! The guy who walked us out the car was nice, but it's ridiculous that he was the only one doing it. To top it off, the car we ended up with was filthy. The steering wheel and console were covered in grime and the inside of the windows were filthy. The windows were so dirty that when the sun hit them, it caused a glare and you couldn't see anything. We ended up buying clorox wipes and windex to clean the car. We rented a Volkwagen Jetta for 5 day and it was $708.99. For that kind of money, I expect a much smoother experience.
