Ridiculous Wait. 1.5 hrs in line!
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: The wait time was so long to get to counter that I left and opted for Uber. i spoke to people inline that knew others at front of line that had been there for 1 hour 40 mins (still not up to counter). Luckily for me, I was just going to airport to pick up vehicle and not just getting off of a flight. And thankfully not traveling with small children. I couldn’t imagine traveling for vacation and having to waste a day in line at rental car counter. Terrible!!!! Thankful I had other options. I felt so bad for everyone else stuck there. Wish I could attach pic of the line I took.

Pros: The price
Cons: The wait for a vehicle was over 2 hours The agent at the desk wanted to charge me for a Midsize car because they didn't have an economy car available. However, after he realized I waited over two hours, he was kind enough to let it go at the same price. The car was uncomfortable and not very clean

Terrible
Pros: I’m glad I reserved with the right to cancel.
Cons: The check in counter had a serpentine line of customers with two clerks in no apparent hurry to get the line cleared. I had reserved the car at the higher, free cancellation rate. I canceled at the airport and found a car with Sixt at a lower rate.

Mad house
Cons: Slow service and lots of time wasted waiting in line. Must have been 20 people ahead of me and another 20 behind me. Paid in advance for intermediate car and they only had compact available. No price change or refund. The alternative was to pay more.

Cons: I was unable to get a car after paying for it in advance because they overbooked and there was a 3 hour wait. I ended up getting a car from their competitor.

Pros: I've got a free upgrade to a bigger car.
Cons: When I arrived at the Phoenix airport rental station, I had to wait about 1h to get the car. I trapped into the fuel trap which said that you can return it empty but of course it will never be empty. The lady claimed that the gas is usually cheaper than it would be when I fill it by myself. In total the whole car rental cost me 270% as much as it was supposed to be because there was also an incredible amount of taxes and fees. Of course because I was in a hurry because of the delay I was in a state where I had to make quick decisions which I wouldn't have made if I wasn't.

Dis-Advantage
Cons: This was the worst care rental experience of my life. All other car rental companies had reasonable lines and wait times, but Advantage had a huge line and I waited an hour and a half to get to the agent. I had a better experience in Tegucigalpa Honduras. This is actually a scam, because even though the savings are slightly more, they make you wait 10 times as long, so they make more money by booking more people, but then understaff their rental kiosks.

Not worth the cost savings
Cons: Waited 1.5hrs in line for my reserved and paid car. Waited again for keys and had to return to desk after I found minor damage to vehicle. “Upgraded” car had manual windows, and all door locks worked independently of the driver door.

Stay away from Advantage car rental, at least in PHX
Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: Was told at check-in I would have a Ford Focus, instead got a crappy Hyundai Elantra. Car was filthy inside and out. Heavily stained seats with spilled drink stains everywhere. Car was badly damaged in four places yet the rental location simply said, "If you notice any damage on the car, mark it on the form". I rented the car for 12 days and it cost $63/day - outrageous!
