Pros: The airport is well marked for returning rental cars and Enterprise made the return a breeze. It was very quick and we were on our way into the terminal with 2-3 minutes of arriving! the agent was helpful and friendly. Definitely will use again.
Cons: Leaving Canada.

The fine print and the staff explaining it
Pros: Nice upgrade
Cons: Offer a gas plan that was a little complicated and turned out not to be well understood.
Staff are too fast at explaining details about rental conditions; they are difficult to follow - They are on automatic pilot. Slow down and make sure people understand.

Pros: Great vehicle, overall.
Cons: Someone had clearly smoked in the car previous, and it had been covered up with cleaning and sprays. The air filter/AC was musty.
Poor on gas.
Pros: I liked that I was able to walk away and not deal with this company
Cons: It took forever to get to the off airport location, And then, even longer to get to the desk as the process of filling out forms for the few people ahead of me was painfully slow. Once I got there, the upcharges they wanted to add were unreasonable so I just left, went back to the airport and rented a car from Thrifty which was easy and fast.

Won't ever rent from E-Z Rent-A-Car
Cons: Rented from E-Z Rent-A-Car, but turned out to be Trans Canada Rental, who appear to be booking cars for multiple rental business names.
Location is off the airport, requiring a train and shuttle. Waited for 45 minutes for shuttle, and then shuttle driver was rude and belligerent.
Waited for nearly 30 minutes in line before talking with the rental person at the counter. During that 30 minutes, the people in front of me, were pressured to buy expensive insurance plus other add-ons, even though the people trying to reserve the cars had documentation of their own insurance. Renters came back in to complain that their cars had no gas and had exterior damage.
The rental agent was extremely aggressive, demanding that I buy insurance, even though I had proof of insurance. The car that they wanted to supply didn't match the one reserved. Eventually they provided a car, but demanded more money. Gas tank was on empty. Barely made it to the gas station that was 3 blocks away. Car also had lots of exterior damage, and was absolutely filthy inside.
The experience left me feeling that this car rental company was a fly-by-night company with questionable business practices and worried about the possibility that I'd get financially screwed.
Learned my lesson. Next rental was from a different rental agency (large brand, onsite at airport), where people were polite, friendly, helpful, professional and supplied the right car, in excellent condition, was clean and had a full gas tank. Well worth the extra expense.

Pros: Good car, good shuttle from/to airport. Despite these qualities I would not rent a car from this company again.
Cons: The attendant during pick up was very rude, almost agressive when I asked simple questions about the tolls, the total price and the gas option. The milleage limit when driving out of the province is really bad too. I would not rent a car from this company again.

They tricked me into paying for extra coverage.
Cons: After declining the extra trip protection online, and then declining it again when the agent asked me if I wanted it, I ended up being charged for the extra trip protection when I returned the car.
When a (different) agent showed me the document I had signed earlier, I noticed that I had initialed next to the trip protection package per the first agent's instructions. The first agent had me sign and initial in about 10-15 places on the document, so it was easy for him to just slip that one by me.
I'm SO angry. I never get the extra trip protection. I purposefully declined it only. I absolutely declined it when he asked me about it, and then he went ahead and slipped it by me when I was signing/initialing in other places. I'll NEVER rent from E-Z Car again, and I'll tell all of my friends not to either.

Pros: The car was clean when we finally got it.
Cons: Counter agents need public relations training. The entire rental process took 90 minutes including a 30 minute wait for the car to be delivered after finishing with the rental agents.

Worst Experience Ever
Pros: The shuttle driver was nice.
Cons: There so much to discuss here, but here are a few of my main concerns:
-It took me an hour and a half to rent this car. Getting to the offsite office from the airport requires numerous shuttle stops, waiting at an offsite pick up location, then a shuttle ride to the small and outdated office.
-Customers are unable to waive rental car insurance despite being covered by a credit card (or other third party)
-Car had scratches and I was expected to evaluate the condition outside in the high winds and snow
-Price was not the cheapest after adding on the charges for insurance and the leg work involved in pick up/return.
-Highly unorganized office and communication for pick up and drop off.
-Staff at front desk was not friendly nor helpful.
Learned my lesson here, stick with the established/mainstream rental car companies.
Pros: I liked that I got a car, but nothing worth mentioning about the service, place, or vehicle provided.
Cons: customer service was horrible!

Cons: The address on the booking was wrong. It said toronto, not Mississauga. Offsite not very convient. Not inexpensive. Overpriced.

Car is NOT at the airport!!
Pros: They let me cancel without penalty
Cons: This company is not located at the airport. You have to go to the third floor of the airport hotel, get on a train, then transfer to a shuttle. Not what I had planned since I requested an airport rental location.

Never use this rental agency
Cons: Kayak mislabeled them as on airport. They are not. You need to take an airport train to Viscount station. Then you need to call them to pick you up. I had to wait 25 mins. The actua rental agency is run down and the customer service is bad. If you want to return the car early in the morning you have to bring it to another lot and pay another $25 for the priveledge. Then their shuttle back won't even take you to the terminal unless you bribe them.
Cons: Agent, though very friendly, only spent time trying to make the car more expensive after asked for a lesser priced car.

Pros: mostly nothing
Cons: I signed up for fast checkout and was assured I could just walk to the car directly.
there was no board with my name, I had to go back to the counter and stand in line the fast lane which was serving normal customers, so it was not fast at all
I then got the car finally (40mn wasted) just to find out that the car was malfunctioning (check engine light).
We had to go back and go stand in line a 2nd time to get another car, more itme wasted.
The phone staff was totally worthless, they first told me I could drop off the car after hours, and another staff later told me I could not and would have to drive the car back to the airport and take a taxi or train to the city (really?). In real life, we were able to drop off the car after the office was closed.
Budget has had the most clueless staff I've worked with so far.
Pros: We went to Canada for 2 days for Family Emergency Our flight was late I called Thrifty Rental explain everything They advise me don't worry When you arrived at Pearson Toronto Airport Your car shound be ready at airPort location We arrived At 4pm at Thrifty they told us we made a reservation at city location we have no cars available I have explain everything and everything to them I was so frustrated called the Taxi went to a city location they were closed.I call customer service Told my situation. They made a new reservation at Dollar rent a car at same location at Thrifty and dollar RENTAL where I was told they don't have any cars available By time We got back from city to airport Taxi cost me $100 and my new rental cost me $80 dollars extra From my original reservation and wasted one all day. Worst service ever.
