Paris hotels in Montparnasse

Pros: We only stayed one night but got the family suite because we were traveling with out 18 yo son - our room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. Wish we had gone to Paris for a longer stay - next trip we'll book this hotel again. The location was perfect and right by a major metro line. Many good cafes close by - it was just really wonderful!!

Pros: It's a good 3-star hotel actually: cozy, friendly staff, comfy rooms, etc. Fantastic mid-range hotel for a weekend trip to Paris.

Pros: The location is great for both good food locally, sight-seeing and a short hop on the metro (station opposite) to shopping, museums, galleries and a direct link to gare du nord. For the rate, this was a good value hotel.

Pros: The staff was very helpful. We left Paris in a day of transport strike, almost impossible to get a last moment taxi to the airport, and the girl who was there found one for us!

Pros: The Hotel Aiglon staff was excellent in assisting a non speaking french guest. The room were much smaller than America's typical hotel room however the room was perfect for our use. I would stay here again .. One additional advantage in staying at the Aiglon was it's location to mutiple cafe's and the Metro on Raspail.

Pros: The bed was comfortable and the room was pretty. We had a balcony on the fourth floor which was a nice touch. Also the shower is big for a European hotel.

Pros: For the price, I was impressed. Definitely a budget hotel, so don't expect luxury. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom has a lot of mirrors which was nice. The employees at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. TV in the room was nice to have in the evening.

Pros: Hotel located in an ideal position, and spotlessly clean. Small room typical of France. Staff very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast appeared initially a tad expensive however was fantastic. An excellent small hotel to which I would return.

Pros: Nothing, hotel was pretty shabby..small rooms, difficult to even stand up, small toilets and bathrooms...Rooms were smelly and sheets were stained, we paid Euro 200/night but it was not even worth Euro 20/night..

Pros: The hotel is in a great location near The Luxembourg Gardens, which are great on a nice day. There are many restaurants nearby and the staff is really helpful.

Pros: We stayed at the Hotel Mercure for our anniversary and were delighted with the accomodations. The hotel was beautiful and the room was clean, comfortable, modern and well appointed. The staff were very friendly, helpful and always going the extra mile to provide outstanding service. The Hotel Mercure has larger rooms than we have seen in Paris and even has several dedicated accessible rooms for differently abled guests. For travelers from out of town, the hotel is very conveniently located, close to two different metro lines and the bus. Within three blocks there are several fine restaurants and brasseries, three grocery stores, and a wide variety of shops, bakeries and boutiques. Most of the hotel staff speak very good English if you are still working on learning French. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Paris.

Pros: The beds were extremely comfortable. The room was simple but good sized. It faced onto a back courtyard and so was very quiet. Both my husband and I commented to each other than we slept extremely well the two nights we spend there. Location was excellent.

Pros: The location is very good close to Montparnasse Tower and Gare area and just 200 mts from Edgard Quinet Metro. The rooms were very quiet and the view in the back in nice as well. You have lots of coffee shops, restos, and boulangeries next to the hotel.

Pros: The hotel itself was ok, but the location was really perfect. It's a great place to stay if you just need someplace clean and basic to sleep while touring the city.

Pros: It is a very stylish and attractive hotel. The room (plain - and with empty mini-bar!) does not really merit four stars, though it was comfortable, quiet and with a charming outlook on the hotel garden. I very positively enjoyed the stay
