Hertz quoted me for $107 for my car. Apparently I received the wrong car so they charged me an extra $300. They are not refunding my money for an employee giving me the wrong car (how am I supposed to know they are not doing their job correctly?) it is a very frustrating experience and I will not use hertz again.Reviewed 25 Jan 2023

Even though I already had a reservation, I had to stay in a long line together with those people who did not. In addition, there were only two Hertz employees attending a line of 20 people. Everyone knows LAX is a busy airport. There should be more people attending customers. The back of the car was very dirty and the inside too had not been cleaned so well.Reviewed 12 Jan 2023

I didn't realize there were two Hertz locations within a half mile of each other in LA. By the time we figured that out on our arrival on Saturday 12/24/22, the office where our car was reserved was closed and was also closed the next day. We had some difficulty getting in touch with the office on Monday 12/26/22 but eventually got through and came to pick up a car. The person who waited on us was visibly unhappy about having to deal with us - not exactly rude, but not pleasant either. After that, however, all went well.Reviewed 1 Jan 2023

Dec26. Short staffed. 2 hour wait to speak to counter staff. Understandably no car available due to the airline crisis. Waited 20 min after check in to get a car. Until car rentals understand that spending more than an hour to get a car, waiting in line, is not a pleasant experience, renting a car from any of the providers is not a pleasant experience and cuts into one's trip. Hertz should know better but it appears they don't care.Reviewed 28 Dec 2022
