The problem we had was that the rental agency closed at 9 PM despite the fact we indicated our pickup was at 10 PM based on our landing. When we go there no-one was around and so we did not rent the car.Reviewed 27 Mar 2023

You can make a reservation at 10pm, they also CLOSE at 10pm, so if you are a little late, their place will be dark and you'll be stuck without a rental late at night!Reviewed 26 Mar 2023

We had to wait 90 minutes to get on a shuttle bus to the parking lot and then another 15 in the parking lot to get the van to the rental office. Then another 20 minutes in line at the counter and another 15 to actually get the car. And, it was not the car we requested. Doubt we will use Midway again.Reviewed 23 Mar 2023

Upon arriving at the rental office we were loudly and demeaningly lectured by the manager about needing proof of address, two IDs, proof of return ticket, among other things. We were treated like children and criminals. I have never had this sort of experience with a rental car company. I'm a middle aged professional giving them my business and could easily go elsewhere. The manager then went and talked to one of the two clerks checking people in for over 5 minutes. There were at least 10 people in line waiting for cars. She then turned around and joked about how she was eating up his time. If I hadn't just gotten off a 6 hour flight, I would have left. Truly shocking. At LAX Midway I happen to go to the wrong location. After waiting 35-40 min in line I was informed that I was at the wrong location. My bad on that, but the staff person sent me over to the other location that was closed. She should have know that they close at noon on a Saturday. I was lucky enough that a very pleasant sales man rented me a car because I had to be at a funeral. He was amazing. On return the service was excellent and she went out of her way for me. I had to wait in line for over 3 hours do to a computer failure. They had cars but couldn't figure out what to do without the computer. FINALLY they started using paper but I lost HALF OF MY DAY waiting in line. I wasn't offerred any discount which I thought was the least that they could have done.Reviewed 7 Mar 2023

I was a little late to my appointment but overall time of pickup was an hour 20 mins…. I was only in LA for a few hours before my next flight and it really ate into my time there. If you’re in a rush, I don’t recommend but if you have the time of day, worth the price!Reviewed 5 Mar 2023
