**Beginning March 7, 2022 -- Taiwan will allow foreign business travelers to enter the country for the purposes of business visits, investment, the fulfillment of contractual obligations, and employment. Relevant information can be found on the Taiwan Bureau of Consular Affairs website. These regulations are subject to change and may be adjusted based on pandemic developments.**
Entry restrictions do not apply to citizens from Taiwan and their family members and foreign nationals with a valid Alien Resident Certificate. Foreign nationals that need to enter Taiwan for emergencies or humanitarian grounds will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and must receive permission from the CECC before applying for a special entry permit.
Travelers must have the Quarantine System for Entry on their mobile phone and must fill out the health declaration form.
Visitors from India must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken within 2 days before departing to Taiwan.
Visitors from India will need to quarantine for 14 days upon entering Taiwan.
Unvaccinated travelers returning from Taiwan must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken within 72 hours before departure to India.
Fully vaccinated travellers with approved vaccination certificates do not need to present a negative COVID-19 test.
Visitors returning from Taiwan are not required to quarantine upon entering India.
