Cons: "Flight was delayed by nearly 4 hours due to a cargo loading issue in Mombasa. Communication from Ethiopian Airlines staff regarding the issue & delay was very poor. Passengers were becoming very anxious and tense regarding the flight, if it would depart, and the safety of the plane. Improved communication from the Ethiopian Airline staff would have gone a long way to calming the situation and reassuring passengers."

Cons: "Once in Abidjan, it became a mess. First we were left waiting for over an hour without any explanation. Then we were told that we had to retrieve our baggage and then recheck them. Hardly anyone spoke English so that was a long and confusing ordeal."

Cons: "2 separate incidents. One, a fight between passengers at ththe check in desk that spilled over before staff could resolve incident. Then at security, after immigration, no cues. Minimal staff overseeing the process. No organization. Early"

Cons: "Besides that the flight was 4 hours delayed and the staff gave different information then the screen, customer service was non existant. There seems to be no structure or system. Gate change was not announced. Staff was not clear or direct about status of the flight. I have had several flights with EA and most have been completely disappointing and frustrating. Forget trying to call anyone, it took me 4 days of non stop calls to connect with someone to change my flight date. Then once connected the credit card system was apparently down and they could not charge my fee. I had to contact the US office while I was in Africa in order to get anything done, ridiculous. They over charged me and would not honor the fees that were quoted on the phone and via email but the head office. Dishonest and no concern for the inconvenience to their customers. This airline would be the last choice, highly not recommended."

Cons: "The security line was very long and one security monitor check person was holding up the line - taking her time. Even the othe security people at the gate were trying to push her along. Most of the people getting on this flight had a short layover time. Escape ially with the previous flight being late."

Pros: "The food was terrible but it was somewhat editable. It could have just been because I was so hungry I could eat anything too."
Cons: "The staff was rude, the boarding was a mess, the cabin was at least a little cooler than previous flight but still very uncomfortable, the amount of announcements was absolutely absurd!!! It was almost an announcement every 15 minutes. And the plane played music (terrible music) for 45 min extremely loud after taking off AND and hour before landing. It was so awful and so loud you couldn't even hear your own entertainment playing from your own headsets. I understand music while boarding and de-planing but there is absolutely no reason to have that playing that long after take off and hat soon before landing."

Cons: "I'm 1.89 and knees are jammed on this flight. Legroom is better on their long haul flights."

Pros: "When I originally booked this trip it was with one connection and a 16 hour commute time. They added legs to my trip which significantly increased travel time. I tried to cancel my flight because I booked the flight with the necessity of arriving by specific days and times and they insisted on charging me for it so I just forfeited my seat and trip all together. There's nothing good to say about Ethiopian airlines."

Cons: "The food was horrible. My TV didn't work and although I asked for it to be reset several times, the crew kept forgetting. The flight was supposed to be 9 hours, but we left late and it was 11+ hours. I understand things happen, but the crew gave no explanation for the delay or elongated flight. Last, but not least, when we landed in Newark we waited 2 hours for our luggage to come out. We landed at 9:50pm and didn't receive our baggage until 11:50pm. My friend and I were not even the last to get our bags. Overall this was the worst flight experience I've ever had."

Cons: "Food is the SAME every time! Service was not great, skipped me twice on drinks and they seemed annoyed when I asked for a water and a water refill since the cups are so small. I get that its a quick flight and they have to finish before a certain time. But service for the people in the back should be the same as those in the front."

Pros: "During my trip, I enjoy the entertainment. In addition the boarding was excellent."
Cons: "I did not really enjoyed the food. I would not say it was not good but it was not my type. Well I guess this not my type of eating. In another word, I'm not use to the craft of the food."
