The choice of 15kg as the limit is a BIG problem for international travelers who may be coming for longer stays. We were charged 3000rps each for overweight luggage and the staff at the check in counter in Jaipur were really rude about it. After having paid an extra 3000 rps which was almost like buying another flight ticket to new Delhi for just a 35 min flight, our flight was 1 hour delayed!! Definitely we will NEVER fly with indigo again!!!"

This really felt like a scam! We asked to cancel the flight and were told we could, but there was no guarantee of any refund. We said to cancel it anyway. Later I was told there would be no refund. I assumed it had been canceled and yet I got emails telling me it was time to check in, etc. And then I’m asked to review my flight! So, between Indigo and Kiwi.com I felt I got terrible service. I will not use either of them again. In the end we got a flight for the original amount including 15kg of checked baggage from a different website and on a different airline that left at the exact same. There was a reasonable charge per 5 kg over the15 allowed."

Had our luggage not been unloaded, as expected, we would have a bit more freedom to move about. My luggage tickets had come off so I had to re-check in in. They then gave me the wrong labels saying i had to check in at internationals. This caused terrible chaos and they did not seem to understand when I tried to explain that going from Bangalore to vasco de gama was domestic. Other than that a pleasant journey."

Cons: "We were seated in the 3rd row to a wash room which was broken even before we took off. Water (mixed with pee and other stuff) started leaking and the staff started to put down news papers and sprayed some perfumes. During the flight the leak got worse and carpet under our seats got completely soaked with pee waters. It smelled horrible and we couldn't even put our legs down. Crew didn't do anything to alleviate our pain. They didn't even bother to check on us other than to serve food when the time is up. It was the worst 14 hours our family had to live in our entire life. Shame on Air India."
