Cons: "Food given was veg even though i had asked for non veg. The flight attendant said they can't give non veg. Attendant not helpful"
Pros: "We didn't like anything. We booked the ticket in advance, and they didn't inform us about the time change (plane departed 2 hours earlier than the mentioned time in the ticket). On top of that, the staffs were rude and blamed us for missing flight. After a lengthy discussion, they booked for the next flight. For the next flight (1 am), we waited for the wheelchair after getting the ticket to get to the TSA clearance area before boarding the aircraft. After 2 hours wait, one of the airport staff asked to walk to the security area (several senior passengers had difficulty walking) because it was too close to the boarding time, and no one came with the wheelchair. Very disappointing experience with Air India!"
Cons: "Everything from the basic! The staff surely needs a prompt training in customer service and teach them how to communicate courteously with customers. Need more training to handle issues similar to what we faced, learn how to escalate to their supervisors rather than standing and smiling, and saying that "we cannot do anything at this time." Teach them how to offer free upgrades in this situation, even for the next flight or future flights."

Cons: "The flight was overbooked. I paid extra for a window seat but someone else was also booked in that seat, so I was forced to move to an aisle seat in the middle. I will be asking for a refund for the upgrade. Not only was I denied the window seat, but the seat I was moved to had a broken screen."

Cons: "The flight to India from San Francisco was disappointing in terms of in-flight service. There was no amenities kit distributed to business class passengers, as there was on the way back to San Francisco. My vegetarian meal, although confirmed with the gate agent, did not appear on the flight attendant's list. No reading materials were distributed. We were served a glass of water, nothing more special than that, and possibly that wasn't until after takeoff. I felt like the only thing that made it business class was that the chair went horizontal, there was ample personal space, and my food was served on a white tablecloth."

We set food preferences several times and in several ways (on phone , online and even confirmed it at check in) but we were not served the meals we ordered. This is a huge problem since we had the same issue going from EWR to BOM"

Gave breakfast item for dinner time( omelete and sausage ) and gave rice and okra for breakfast to my co passenger. Th food was horrible tasting. Cold and frozen croissants. Very bad food and service. Did not get a pillow. The airhostess said there were few pillows and they ran out! Also did not have headphones. . Will not travel with Air India in the future. Did not take expect my mational airlines to be this pathetic. Also was an hour late . The arm rests are worn out. Dirty seats."

Not able to interface with any of the thing as none is working fine. - Even the charging point is not working to keep myself entertained in one way or other for such a long journey. - The screen monitor power buttons not working, continuously flashing the light on my eye which is not allowing me to sleep peacefully. - Toilets are not clean and not up to the basic standards which at least found in domestic flights"

Cons: "Flight was late, the food wasn't the best, the movie selections didn't work on the 9 hour flight, and the flight attendants weren't answering to the call button. Also, the plane was incredibly old and the seats appeared to be falling apart with the fabric coming off."

Cons: "There are so many things that I have jotted down a list. 1. Plane is really old 2. Entertainment on most of the seats are broken. 3. Remotes don't work either. 4. Crew is extremely unprofessional. (Domestic Air India crew is more professional than international) 5. Crew is incompetent as well. They couldn't figure out how to organize over head space. I had to help them out. Eventually someone from the airport had to come and help as they wanted our flight to depart on time. 6. All the plane announcements from the hostess and the pilot was crass. 7. There was just enough food, but no extras or snacks. 8. One of the meals out of three was inedible because it was super spicy."

Cons: "The flight crew did not do a check before takeoff. There were many seats in the recliner positions, the were children and adults standing during takeoff. When the meal was served there was good all over the cabin floor and hot coffee was spilled on my hand and lap while the flight crew was serving the person next to me."

Cons: "The boarding from Heathrow to EWR was confusing-- the monitor said "Boarding" two hours before the flight, which caused a lot of confusion for passengers. The airline was boarding a certain class of passenger, but there were no announcements to inform other passengers that they weren't doing general boarding at the time. The touch screens on the back of the seats are annoying (especially on a 7-hour flight) to the passenger in front, as they can feel the constant tapping through the seat."
