The boarding process in Chiang Mai was horrible. Gate change last minute left me with all our carryons and my husband in a wheelchair. No one came for him….. Inconsiderate and uncaring. Airport was crowded and no one cared….

Better explanation of where to line up when checking luggage.

No electrical plugs or USB plugs. No lounge at KKC airport.

Thai Smile must be the only airline in the world that still doesn’t allow mobiles and iPads to be used during taxi, takeoff and landing. No inflight service due to COVID but a little snack and water handed out as we left the plane. I also like the deplaning by row, I wish more airlines did this

Pros: "We forgot to pack our liquid products into the check in baggage. After we went through the security check, we brought the liquid products back to the boarding pass counter, our baggage had already been sent to downstream. But the staffs was very helpful, they provided a box, packed the liquid products for us and checked it in as the second luggage. This solved our headache and it was a huge deal for us, making us smile. Thanks to your crew/staffs again."
Cons: "Providing some snacks would be helpful when getting off the board."
Cons: "We got drinking water after landing. Would be better to provide some snacks on the way out."
Pros: "Brilliantly safety-conscious crew but very personable."
Cons: "It would been very nice to not have to board a shuttle bus to be taken to the flight in BKK."
Pros: "The crew was the most expert crew I have seen. I fly thousands of miles every year. Their alertness to safety was unprecedented for me. In Yangon the counter personnel were equally excellent, safety-conscious and personable."
Cons: "It would be really nice not to have to board a bus in BKK to be shuttled to my next flight."
Cons: "I understand that the crew was probably tired, but I believe they can be friendlier."
Cons: "Since no one was in first class and I was in the first row not allowing me to use the restroom Up front when there was a long line in the back seemed rude"

Thai Air Asia no longer has customer support that you can call and talk to. All support is done by chat bot or self help websites. This can be a major issue if you have a problem and it bit us so we can’t recommend nor will we book with them again unless as a last resort.

No way to talk to support. Is all online self help or chat bot. Now way to speak to a person and the automated options are useless.

Airline cancelled our flight purchased through kiwi.com 2 months before travel and to date has inly refunded half of our paid ticket price.

Crew was nice, boarding efficient. VERY cramped seating. I'm a 5 ' 10'' slim woman and my knees were up against the seat in front of me and my arms were against the arm rests. There are no services, not even water, and they only take local currency and I didn't yet have Thai baht ( flying from Indonesia and no rupiah left). I won't choose to fly with this line again.

Good, no mini-tv's, no food unless you pay, good overall experience.

CNX is a filthy, poorly kept airport. I have heard that Thailand plans to build another airport in San Kampaeng area, so perhaps they are just letting this one go. But it makes every airline look badly to offer their service in such a poorly organized "dump". Sorry to say this, but that's what it's like. At least the AirAsia flight which I took was on time! I appreciate that.

Air Asia will be my choice of airline when I fly to Asia every 6 to 8 weeks. Thank you for your good service.

I really like air Asia. The flights are running very professionally and both of my flights this last time got in early. Planes were clean. The staff was very professional and helpful. I understand they were supposed to be a budget airline but they don’t act like they’re a budget airline.

Landing to Hanoi in time Seat not reclining -Cabin design very dull

The return flight was delayed for more than 4 hours. Luckily we were in the airport way in advance and managed to reach out to the Nok Air sales office to squeeze us into the earlier flight.

Lead flight attendant was rude and not helpful. Very unprofessional.

Purchased additional baggage and the flight was canceled due to covid. When they rebooked us they didn’t carry over the extra baggage. They wanted to charge 3x the original ticket price for “added” weight… 6000 bhat for an additional 15kilo (which would of been easily covered by what we originally booked) took nearly 2 hours to work out and they only let us check in minutes before our flight boarded. Very unhappy.

Cons: "I wasn't able to go on this flight, or on the trip at all due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and the airline has not responded to my request for a refund or credit yet."
Cons: "The charge for extra baggage was three times the cost of my ticket. Outrageous!"
Pros: "The flight itself was OK."
Cons: "I had to check a bag. My friend, who is Thai, Called the airline and was given the price of 450 baht to check a bag. I called about an hour after that to actually pay for checking a bag and they told me that it was 1225 baht ($41). The other person had made a mistake and that the price was 1225 if I want to ship my bag. When I asked them About the discrepancy in price, the man was rude and told me that The other person had made a mistake and that the price was 1225 if I want to ship my bag. I had to pay the high price because I had no other way to get my bag to Phuket. Afterwards someone I met told me that the price for the Westerners is always higher but three times the price is outrageous and I will never fly with that airline again."
Pros: "Cheap flight!"
Cons: "Damage to luggage and their compensation is a pittance. Took the legs off my suitcase and gave me USD $6. The flight was very uncomfortable as AC is not used until up in the air, so we boarded and sat in 25C+ until we were airborne."
Cons: "The speakers were too loud and the hostess can’t do anything about it."
Pros: "The seat was comfortable and easy to use."
Cons: "It was a very brief flight so it didn’t leave much for entertainment or food. The staff were a little abrupt, but mostly kind. For a couple of hours, it was okay!"
Pros: "I booked a flight and feet combo and the whole experience was well organized"
Cons: "No snacks but whatever"

Need more where chair assistant helper I request, but no one help me.

We were packed in like sardines. They did not even serve water on the flight!

Everything was good just the part on the need to transfer via bus to plane

Around Asia, Vietjet is always my favorite airline. Great service and beautiful stewardesses :)

I get tired of Viet Jet's regular delays. I tell myself every time that I need tp switch to Air Asia, which I have, but AA doesn't always have flights when I need them. Oh well...

Worst experience, hands down. With a movable departure time it's impossible to know at what time to go to the airport. On the day of my return flight I received a kayak email informing me that my flight was bent rescheduled for an hour earlier. I literally had to run to the airport to learn it wasn't true. Never again

There were four delays over a period of 3 1/2 hours with very little advance warning. There was no explanation offered as to the reason for the delays. I hope I never have to fly a Thai Viet Jet Air again.

Delayed boarding, deboarding by bus - time to choose another airline.

Left 1/2 hour late and had to deboard on a bus. I will choose another airline from now on.

Both flight schedules were changed by the airline after booking the flights. 215pm departure brought forward to 1045pm and 110pm (return) departure moved to 530pm. Caused great inconvenience and not even a discount voucher from the airline! Disappointing.

No frills means no frills... I just got on the plane and flew. That's all. Nothing more and nothing less. Or I did buy some water, they took cash only! LOL

First the flight delayed 1 hour ND then when we suppose to landing the pilot decided not to land at the chiang Mai Airport but the chiang rai airport

Pros: "This is a budget airline and they get you to where you going at good price"
Cons: "They pack you in all together even though there are open seats available and leave you there as if you've done something wrong"
Cons: "fraud on the baggge fee. Had already tried to pay on web sire, but tmdid not work. Then they charge more than twice the price at airport."
Pros: "I am grateful for small mercies. ... it was on time!"
Cons: "Not being fleeced / ripped off cheated out of money as I check in. The website purposely does not allow payment of bags just so they can get more at airport. ... Staff admitted it was regular complaints and they did not care... Not my sort of pleasurable flight.."
Pros: "The ground staff service was really poor, the air-cond on-board was warm instead of cold, when arrived Singapore, the body sweaty."
Cons: "The pre-book luggage service and check-in ground staff service in Bangkok airport. It's really disappointed."
Cons: "They had mosquitos entire flight, they could have sprayed bug spray or do something about it"
Pros: "Just expect , what is expected from a low cost carrier."
Pros: "I had very low expectations after reading some reviews for this airline. But I was pleasantly surprised. Staff in Bangkok was nice, paid for bags, everything went smoothly, and the plane was not dumpy at all."
Cons: "nothing, it was a short simple flight."
Cons: "The plane was COLD and no blankets to be found."
