Pros: "I liked the fact that the flight was on schedule in spite of the fact that one passenger seemed to cause a delay on forgetting to locate his passport from his own carry on ! I also liked the content shown on the screens as they juggled my ken a bit! Food was to taste despite the cabin pressure! The cabin crew were just amazing!"

Cons: "Tried to book baggage and seats online for flight from Colombo to Sharjah but website wasn't working, so called their office in Colombo. Was told it was too late to book baggage so would have to pay more than double the regular charge. I explained repeatedly that I had tried to book it but the website was down but the lady on the phone completely ignored what I was saying. She then said I should have called them to report the problem - insinuating that it was somehow my fault that their website wasn't working. Quite an interesting twist on 'customer service' in a service industry company. Nothing in the email I received from them stated what to do should their waist fail; no number to call, no procedure, nothing. I had to take a 1-hour trip into the city to speak to them directly at their office. The lady there I spoke with simply made a few mouse clicks and the problem was solved. This of course begs the question of why that couldn't have been done over the phone. The lady on the phone put me on hold for over 10 minutes, clearly hoping that I would give up and hang up. Air Arabia should fire this person immediately as she has no business being in the customer service industry if she is going to be so insulting to a paying customer. As a member of the company she sheds a horrible and unprofessional light on it."

Had our luggage not been unloaded, as expected, we would have a bit more freedom to move about. My luggage tickets had come off so I had to re-check in in. They then gave me the wrong labels saying i had to check in at internationals. This caused terrible chaos and they did not seem to understand when I tried to explain that going from Bangalore to vasco de gama was domestic. Other than that a pleasant journey."

The Legroom on the airline is much larger than most of the airlines I have traveled. The meals served are mostly geared towards the Indian cuisine and it’s pretty good and sumptuous. You are provided with three meals on the EWR-BOM leg viz. lunch, dinner and breakfast."
Cons: "The boarding at Newark was chaotic but the blame lies on passengers who were not heeding to the repeated announcement from the ground staff. The entertainment system on the flight was very spotty with some terminals being unresponsive to touch. The passenger announcement are very minimal."

The travelers were horrible as well. Many passengers were just not behaving well. Left toilet papers all over the floor. Toilet room was poorly maintained. No napkin towels to wipe our hands! Flimsy napkin (if you can call that!) for dinner. Generally, the worst flight experience that my wife and I have had! And, we fly a lot around the world!"

Cons: "Once again, the bathrooms were in bad shape. This was true almost from the beginning of the flight, i.e., the state of the bathrooms cannot be attributed to their (mis)use by the passengers. Also, I had to use almost all the bathrooms in the economy class over the duration of the flight and none of them were in good shape!! This is a rather sad state of affairs for the national airline of India :( Although not related to the Air India staff, the ground staff at Delhi International Airport provided poor service. Passengers who had deplaned from a domestic flight and were waiting in line for their passport check before their international transfer, were suddenly told to go complete the passport check on a different floor. No reason was provided for this change and the directions provided to go to the new location were very vague ("just go straight and turn left")."

Pros: "1 hour check in at Kolkata to Delhi, at first wanted us to recheck bags at Delhi. Finally, bags checked through, but needed to get boarding passes in Delhi. In Delhi, 80 minutes at the desk before boarding passes. They suggested we didn't have return tickets, and kept asking for more information. And this was at business class desk! Finally took 4 of them at the desk to take care of it, and then we were so late couldn't get seats we wanted. Unbelievably bad! Beware!"

Passengers who take tea should be given the option to select green tea too 3. The business seats have bottle compartments for water bottle which should be continuously be filled up with new bottles once it empty All the above are minor improvements which when added can make the travel more happier"
