Overview Reviews
A stay at Guest House FUTARENO - Hostel places you in the heart of Yokohama, within a 5-minute walk of Iseyama Kotai Shrine and Naritasan Yokohama Betsuin. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice private room, clean bathroom.
Cons: It's small. But it's a hostel, so i guess it's ok.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It really does feel like home away from home and I loved that. I was afraid a bit that because of that I would not like the cleanliness or general organization of the place, but I actually really liked it - and cleanliness is TOP NOTCH!
Cons: I was super-tired that day after a whole day of standing on foot and walking around without getting to sit down for any reasonable amount of time, so having to climb to the upper deck of the bunk beds really hurt my feet - but it was not on "Futareno", they could not have known. I would say if you know this will be a problem for you too, you might want to ask them in your booking if booking the lower bunk would be possible.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location
Cons: A little smell in the room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Humble and friendly host
Cons: Its about the location. Its a little in the uphill, need a lot of energy especially while carrying lots of things at the peak of summer season
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are very helpful.
Cons: The place and the people attending to your needs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I could not recommend Guest House Futareno enough! It was such a pleasant stay throughout, perfect for any kind of traveller - whatever your purpose or background. First, the staff and owners were really friendly and welcoming! The shared lounge area was a great place to wind down after a long, hot summer’s day. It was a lovely social space where you can chat with everyone while also doing your own thing. So thoughtfully decorated, where every nook and cranny is filled with little treasures. Rooms and beds were really comfortable, allowing for a good nights rest! I felt right at home and the curtains provide just the right amount of privacy. My room even had a dressing counter/vanity table equipped with everything you need to get ready in the morning. The amenities were spotlessly clean and comfortable to use. There are 2 bathrooms, one Japanese style and another Western style so you can choose which you fancy. Another big bonus was that the kitchen has lots of spices and cooking equipment. Also, laundry services (clean, dry AND folded) are available for a small fee which was super helpful for me! Thank you so much Kenta-san, Mina-san and Yasu-san!! I will recommend this guest house to all my friends and family coming to Yokohama.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: the japanese couple is running the hostel. they're so friendly and kind.
Cons: it's little inconvenient to have Access it sometime.
7.0 Good
Pros: The clean and great staff.
Cons: The aportunity for lat enterance, and early exit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff, fair price and good location. The room is adorable and very comfortable!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Had a great time here!! Not every hostel's common area is friendly and inviting, but this one really is. :)
The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu - Yokohama - Building

9.0 Excellent (7,264 reviews)
₹ 15,531+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu in Yokohama (Minatomirai), you'll be steps from Tokyo Bay and 4 minutes by foot from Pacifico Yokohama. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and a 24-hour front desk. This hotel has 6 meeting rooms available for events. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location very convenient next to the exhibition hall
Cons: - Room service didn’t clean shower properly. Empty gels were not removed. - complimentary water was only once provided. Also when I asked for it, this request was not honoured. - After the first night I had to change rooms... no issue bcs it was caused by a mistake in my booking, but it was necessary to leave the first room at 11 am and I could move only after 2 pm to the second room. I had to spent 3 hrs on the street. This was a unpleasant experience. - also my late check out was charged for every minute after 11 am. For a guest who stays 4 nights I expect a little more flexibility. - the breakfast was nice, but the offer was very limited for such a stylish hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent choices for breakfast, just outstanding!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean Size of the room was super big compared to other accommodations in Japan Good location close to the conference center Very nice view from the room Good amenities
Cons: Very expensive A bit of sad that you had to pay extra to use the pool or any other external service
6.3 Good
Pros: The room was big and clean.
Cons: Just a very average hotel, not a 5 star!!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice room with nice view very good
Cons: Very are many girls staff the welcoming Japanese customers more than foreign customers
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Japan is generally expensive, the hotel was not an exception.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: very good choice of high quality food
7.0 Good
Pros: Great location with a good view and shopping mall in the compound.
Cons: Old style with carpet and scent of the old day. Long queue for check-in and check-out like a concert hall entrance. The reception was lazy to find the room in accordance to the request.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the room with Bay view. Standing on the balcony, most of famous sightseeing can be enjoyed such as Red Brick Warehouse, Osanbashi Yokohama International Passenger Terminal,Yokohama Bay Bridge and so on. The facilities and staffs made your stay comfortable and joyful. There is direct connection from the hotel to Queen Square, Tokyu Square, Landmark Tower, Miraiminato lines.
Cons: It would be good to offer some drip coffee except for tea bag.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: liked the club level rooms and options to relax in the club room. Hotel located very close to food and shopping options. Staff outstanding. Longer than expected line at checkout.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view is perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staying at this hotel is an experience in itself. The rooms I have stayed in are spotlessly clean, large and with amazing views. Usual five star hotel facilities. Extremely good value. Ate at the hotel's Teppanyaki restaraunt which I also recommend.
Cons: They expect you go leave, eventually!

Pros: The view !!
Cons: The room service - Expensive pool
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable hotel. Friendly staff. Great location in minatomirai part of Yokohama.
Cons: Expensive
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Hotel wanted to charge for 1 hour early check in and 2 hour late check out.
7.0 Good
Pros: location is so good
Cons: bathroom&pillows parking
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for two nights to visit Yokohama before flying back from Haneda and picked this hotel because it let us (2 adults + 2 kids) stay in a 3-person bed room. It was a great pick: even though a 3rd bed was put into the room, it still felt very spacious. We particularly enjoyed the view into the town and the view alone was worth the stay. We also enjoyed eating in front of the window at sunset, looking downward. in short up side: Excellent view (with large windows), spacious room (even with 3rd bed), controllable air-con that can also be switched off (different to older reviews), very clean hotel. Bus airport shuttle to Haneda and Narita available. The hotel is right downton, so lot's of things can be reached on foot.
Cons: downside: The hotel does not feel very japanese, so do not pick it if you want to get to know Japan better. It rather feels and runs like a standard western hotel with an additional asian breakfast buffet with rice, congee and miso soup. there's no natto and only very limited pickles etc. We wanted to have a breakfast table for four persons, and there's only very few tables available, so it's best to be in the breakfast queue 20min earlier, i.e. 6:40am. on the other hand - that's the first hotel I stayed in with a breakfast queue before the restaurand opens and the few is truly stunning and worth the queue.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are nice and clean - but overall standard for this hotel category and prize. The view from the hotel rooms however is amazing!
Cons: Breakfast on the hotel top floor gives fantastic scity and bay views but does not fully meet international expectations for this hotel category and considering the high prize of the extra breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice large room, very comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Royal Park Hotel is always great. We have stayed there many times. The rooms are large and well appointed, the staff is nice, and the View, especially if you have a bay view, is great. Since the hotel starts fifty floors up, all views are spectacular. The breakfast buffet on the top floor is great with a wonderful view.
Cons: The check-out procedure could be better. You often have to stand in a long line if you check out at 11:00 am. I don't understand why a modern hotel in a modern country like Japan forces you to stand in line to check out rather than do it electronically.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: impeccably stunning view, very comfy beds , super convenient , won't need to even in extreme weather.

Pros: Staff were relatively good in English. They are very professional, courtesy and very quick attend to your needs. They were also very creative when come to problem solving. They really set a high bar to what I should expect from a hotel. I also like the history about the hotel. The room assigned had a fabulous view to the Yokohama port and views to their famous attractions. The room was large compared to any hotel we had visited.
Cons: Maybe they need to renovate the property to keep it looks newer and up to date.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect! From stepping out of the door, you have Yamashita Park in front of you and Chinatown is only a five-minute walk. The room was perfectly clean and was large by Japanese standards. The staff are ever eager to help where they can. I would stay again without hesitation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I recommend hotel new grand . You will be satisfied. Very near to all places
Cons: Nothing
9.7 Excellent
Pros: By far the largest room I've had in Japan. The room was a little older but there wasn't anything wrong with it. It had a great view of Yokohama harbor and the Yokohama Bay Bridge. The staff was great and accommodating and even held onto my luggage before I checked in and after I checked out.
Cons: There wasn't anything wrong with this hotel. The original price for the room was to high in my opinion but it was just fine with the discount I got from the site.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed and location.
Cons: None.
6.0 Good
Pros: Lovely views, polite and courteous staff
Cons: Rooms are old and need to be renovated.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We loved the service! Everyone made you feel very welcome with smiles n niceness! Very close to the cruise ship Princess! We took a cab but you could actually walk there.
Cons: The food needed to be upgraded a little. But it was good. The bread was awesome but I really hoped to have a combination of Asian n Western in one buffet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for a step off to cruise
9.3 Excellent

Cons: old and worn
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel's service staff is very welcoming. About 150 meters from the hotel is the entrance to the Miratomirai Line station. Opposite the hotel is the Yamashita Park, where you can see the beautiful landscape of the ocean. There is a Haneda airport shuttle bus stop in the Yamashita Park, which is on the opposite side of the main entrance of hotel. The transportation is very convenient. Very nice stay experience.
6.0 Good
Pros: Beautiful hotel in the best location. Due to rate of exchange it was very expensive

Pros: Stay in good location
Cons: -
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect, upper on the train station
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable place and clean
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a business hotel in a very convenient location for business people. It sits atop a Shinkansen station, one stop each from Shinagawa and Nagoya. Still, a lots of tourists stay there, probably because ... actually, i don't know why.
Cons: Shin-Yokohama is a boring place, compared with Yokohama and Tokyo. I must have taken more than 20 business trips to Shin-Yokohama, but this is only the second time i stayed overnight. There is nothing wrong with the hotel itself. You sometimes have to wait a minute for the elevator as the reception is on the 11th floor. There should be a good view of Mt. Fuji, but unfortunately that is blocked by the highrise across the road.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel i snot in the main Yokohama area. But 02 stop away by metro. Underneath hotel is shopping complex, train, metro, lots of food, easy connect to other places. Ovwral prive value for 02 rooms is good compare to if we stayed in hotel at Yokohama main cbd area. Overall great value, varieties of food to use within the complex.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location right at SHIN-YOKOHAMA station was really nice with access to the station all the restaurants and shops. Best location. Hotel was nice and comfortable and free drinks in the lounge was a nice touch.
Cons: This was a great hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, very clean
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect. Easy access to Tokyo by Shinkansen and Yokohama by JR or subway. There are a lot of restaurants and shops in the same building. Coin laundry is convenient for long stay guests.
Cons: The gym doesn't have enough space and training equipment.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Stay almost 1 week. I really enjoy this place. Probably the best so far. If you like me, like workout & chill from time to time @hotel besides shopping. This is the right spot that can treat you well. The gym is not big and only four machines without weight lifting but still work out just fun for 24hr opening. Its free lounge service is a huge plus for me. I would rest a while there after gym considering housekeeping is not done yet during daytime. The room is spacious, clean & very comfy!!! The supplies are really good, I love the bubble bath. The location is awesome, all kinds of foods are reachable, this fits my strategy to save money on the traffic. It’s also easy to get anywhere, take subway to Yokohama or landmark Tower only take several minutes away. Fee is better than JR I would say. I didn’t add breakfast in the package. Macdonald, Burger King, 7-11 are just nearby so you will never get bored on getting one.
Cons: 1. Hope lounge hours can be longer, maybe start like 8am and ends 11pm. Also provide few light snacks, that would be perfect. 2. Reception English is not good, hope to improve.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast with many options to choose from (Japanese & European), healthy and consistent. It was perfect compared to some other experiences. :) Check-out by default at noon (12pm). That was amazing since I had some meetings.
Cons: I didn't like the short time I stayed there... :)) Wish I could stay longer...

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was much larger than expected (it could easily accommodate large luggage). The room was exceptionally clean! The bed was on the firm aide, but very comfortable, and 2 pillows were provided for each guest. The toilet was separated from the room with the shower (Japanese style with stool to sit on) as well as furo soaking tub. Being all separated, it was very sanitary, and convenient if staying with others. The sink was in the main part of the room. All toiletries were provided, as well as robes for sleeping and slippers to wear inside the room. The hotel is new and it's cleanliness is amazing. The staff were very professional and spoke enough English to communicate effectively. it was a short walk from the subway station in a safe area. Family mart right downstairs for your convenience. I highly recommend this property. It was well worth the $120 we spent.
Cons: Nothing!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Room was Very clean and lights were bright - I don’t like dark rooms in the hotels.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was great and serviced well.
Cons: I wish I didn’t have to pay for a double room so it would be non/smoking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was excellent on answering any questions and fixing my Receipt at the end of my stay. They are here for the customer experience! I appreciate how professional and attentive they are!
Cons: N/A
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very fairly priced considering the location, a 5 minute walk from Yokohama Station West Exit. Rooms were very clean and spacious (for a business hotel). Not as nice as, say, the Tokyu hotels, but worth the price.
Cons: Elevator system is very slow as compared to other hotels.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is hard to beat. 3 minute walk from Yokohama Station, Hub(bar) on the second floor and across the street, convenience store on the corner, restaurants less than a block away, more restaurants and shopping 2 blocks away, karaoke within a couple blocks, Yodobashi Camera nearby, the list goes on. Inside the hotel, everything is in multiple languages. You can watch the timer on your laundry from the TV in your room. The washer/dryer also locks with a pin code so your laundry is secure.
Cons: The laundry dry cycle was never enough, regardless of how little clothing I put in there. I always had to pay 100円 for an additional 30 minutes of drying.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel seems to have been recently renovated or refurbished. Location is great, very near Yokohama station and room is nice and classy. Well worth the price and I definitely will consider to stay here again if visiting.
Cons: Nil
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, comfortable, friendly staff
Cons: A bit pricey for a basic hotel
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Room rate
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is new and good location. My room was upgraded to Comfort double room from single room. Thank you! The toilet was separated from the shower and bath tub(Japanese style). Staff are nice and very helpful. There are plenty of cafes with morning set menu nearby station if you are not keen buffet breakfast.

Pros: comfortable, spacious (by traditional Japanese standards) room. Nice view and amenities. Didn't use the restaurant, which seemed to have only an okay breakfast (I took a quick tour). Modern and efficient.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good. Being European, I missed a bit of cheese, I liked the mango fruit.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room is larger than expected. It even has a bathtub in the bathroom. Clean and comfortable room, with a nice view of the sea. The hotel is within walking distance to YCAT which is the shuttle bus terminal to Narita and Haneda airports. Many nice restaurants nearby.

Pros: Awesome sea view form my room, that worth everything. Sunrise can be captured from your room, if you got up at 4am.

Pros: From owner to staff are perfect. Living room is quite sweet
Cons: kitchen is somewhat messed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Clean facilities. Staff was very nice and friendly.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staffs there were all friendly and nice. The boss paid attention to every customer to make me feel good in the hostel. There were a lot of signs to make you notice to keep the environment clean and they worked. Everyone did keep it clean. It was really near China street and about 5 min walk to the JR station.
Cons: No elevator but the staff could help you to carry the luggage.
6.8 Good
Pros: The staff members are awesome, a lot of fun to be around.
Cons: There is pretty much no natural light inside the hostel and there appears to be a staff common area and a common area for travellers, which is a shame because the staff are great people to hang out with.
7.5 Good
Pros: I liked the location and the surrounding restaurants and bars. More than just Chinatown in this area!
Cons: The room's had a very foul smell. I think it is to do with the moisture in the air and the door being constantly open/ closed to the bedroom which is near to the outdoor corridor.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff and comfortable beds. Not far from the train station
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and they even helped me carry some of my luggage up when I was about to check in. The bed was VERY comfortable and I had one of the best nights sleep over there. The hostel is a 5 mins walk from Ishikawacho station and a 5 mins walk to Yokohama Chinatown. Great value for the solo traveller
Cons: The room was a little foul smelling at first due to the number of clothes and towels hanging by the bedside but you will get used to it fast.
Intercontinental Hotels Yokohama Grand - Yokohama - Building

The InterContinental Yokohama Grand soars magnificently above the transformed city centre like a sleek yacht under sail. The Yokohama Cup Noodle Museum is just 5-minutes walk away. You'll find that this iconic business hotel in Yokohama caters to your every need, including a fitness centre, spa, two bars and five restaurants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great and the staff were all very helpful.
Cons: Around the actual property itself are no trees or parks.. but they are a short distance away.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Mostly everything.
Cons: The room i booked was on sea view which was amaaaazing. It was one of the best sea views i ever saw. The room was great, clean and tidy. The receptionist and workers were always greeting and welcoming which was awesome. The hotel is connected with other malls by a bridge if i may say so. The only thing i disliked were the bellows once you lay on it it becomes thin as a paper which wasn't that cool. The Ac wasn't that cold i don't know why. But over all it worth the stay.
5.5 Okay
Pros: View from room.
Cons: Check in, lined up for 15 minutes. Had to pay to have shower as we had a late flight at 10:30 pm. Bed uncomfortable. Pillows needed to be replaced as they were very soft.
7.5 Good
Pros: If u are in Yokohama attending an event at Pacifico, this hotel is conveniently located just a stone’s throw away. Service was good, and the room is also well kept/maintained.
Cons: Sometimes the waiting area in front of the reception can become too crowded with people. Same goes for the lobby area.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location (Minato Mirai) is simply amazing. It is absolutely futuristic, even for Japan, feels like something out of a sci-fi movie. The hotel is an iconic building of the bay area skyline, which is one of the main reasons why people want to book their stay there - it was also one of the main selling points for us, when we chose this hotel. We've already been three times to Japan, and we tried many of the biggest hotel franchises, and we found that this one somewhat mediocre if you take the competition into consideration. Don't get me wrong, you get everything you would expect in a five-star hotel (of course, you have to pay for extra services like spa or the pool), but it lacks the jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring perfectionism you see at other Japanese accomodations if once you go above four stars.
Cons: The room is spacious and you can't go wrong with the view on each side, however, the TV and the facilities are pretty old school, and some of the furniture and decorations had small cracks and damages here and there. Nothing bad, but it's not something you would expect in a country where even the pavement is so clean you could eat from it. The contrast is even bigger once you go outside and discover that the area tops even the most amazing spots in Tokyo when it comes to architecture, presentation and visual appearance. It's not that bad, don't get me wrong, but from a hotel like this, you would want something over the top, fitting the surroundings, that would make an impression that stays with you for a lifetime. This place was certainly not living up to this kind of expectations. If you can get a reasonable price for your stay, I would recommend trying it once, but if you are looking for the perfect place to stay with no compromise than you should look elsewhere...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: + Got a free upgrade to the "Intercontinental Suite", with amazing views of Minatomirai, the Yokohama Bay, and Bashamichi. + The staff also pro-rated my first night's stay since I checked in at 4am. + Hotel is very nice, quiet, and has fast+reliable WiFi! + Location is excellent: the Intercontinental is one of the landmark buildings in the modern Minatomirai neighborhood of Yokohama; it just across a pedestrian overpass to Minatomirai Station and Queens Mall + Landmark Tower and all of the rest of the surrounding attractions. + Easy access to Tokyo via Minatomirai Station (from where you can catch a train direct to many Tokyo neighborhoods or get anywhere with 1 transfer). (I would recommend using Hyperdia (http://www.hyperdia.com/en/) for looking up train directions.) + While I was checking out, a staff member came up to help me with my two large suitcases and spoke into his headset to have a cab waiting for me by the time we got down the escalator. + Many more instances such as this of subtle and excellent customer service are what really defined this stay for me. + Access to the airports is easy via Yokohama station where the Keikyū Airport Line will take you to Haneda in 30 min or the JR Narita Express will take you to Narita in 1.5 hrs. If you are traveling light, you can change trains at Yokohama to the Minatomirai line and take that to Minatomirai Station, which is a block from the Intercontinental. (If you have a lot of bags, as I did, you might find it easier to take a 10 min cab ride between Yokohama station and Minatomirai station.)
Cons: - No power outlets accessible by the beds, hard to get at by the desk. - No ethernet (wired) internet connection. - Shower head and beds a bit short (I am 6'/1.8m and they were just fine, I would say that anyone taller might need to bend their knees, but this size is also typical of hotels in Japan).

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything else about this capsule hotel was awesome. Unlike many other capsule hotels, this one has a very elegant entrance and main floor. It makes it feel and look fancy. The eating area in the first floor is spacious and calm. The second floor has nice massage chairs that are cheap to use (not free). The showers were so immaculate. Very clean and had everything you need from shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The sauna is also clean. They also have a big manmade onsen and even a cold tub of water that they dont announce. So many free amenities for such a cheap price. The capsule itself is nothing special. Its basic looking and very clean. Has a nice sized locker inside the capsule. The blanket that they give u at the Y's cabin is nice. Its very warm. And the area is great. Its next to a train station and bus stop. Many food options and cafes around it as well and if u are feeling like fast food, there is a mcdonalds and kfc near as well.
Cons: I have been to 3 other capsule hotels in tokyo and one thing I found weird was how this capsule hotel did not have free slippers to use after you take off your shoes. At this capsule hotel, the slippers were an extra cost. But there are free slippers for the restroom.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location was good for sightseeing in central Yokohama
Cons: The no-entry into rooms period when cleaning was happening could've been shorter
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, clean and quiet capsules with personal locker. Very friendly and helpful staff with seamless check in. Great location as base for exploring Yokohama and awesome value.
Cons: Nothing. One of the best capsules I've stayed at. Wish I could've stayed longer!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff who spoke english and were very helpful. The location is perfect right next to Kannai (JR) and not far from the yokohama stadium, marine walk and Chinatown.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked how clean the entire place was. The staff spoke a little English which made me happy.
Cons: I would suggest giving guests the option of a Western style continental breakfast which could include toast, waffles, cereal instead of just the traditional style Japanese breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I loved how clean it was. The facilities and capsule were nicely designed.
Cons: It was my first capsule experience and I found that it can get a bit stuffy in the capsules. The pillow wasn’t comfortable either.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice location. It’s just close to the subway Kannai station. Friendly and helpful staff. The shower is so comfortable. The shampoo and skin care agree with me.
Cons: The mattress is so hard and the Onsen is not available for girls. There is no lift. If you bring a large luggage, it may not be convenient for you.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The toilet shower head was strong, good that they provided clothing, comb, all necessary bathing items, the room was also not as small as I imagined.
Cons: The stairs up to the room, if you brought a heavy luggage, you would not be able to keep it with you, nor have much space to open it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional service and cleanliness
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were all clean, the staff was helpful, the wifi connection was superb.

Pros: Happy hour provided just the right amount of food after our flight from Canada. Loved our introduction to Japanese breakfast (I really like it) and they had some of the best croissants outside of France. Bathrooms had everything needed including English instructions. Awesome location that made it really easy to explore Yokohama on foot, even in the rain (umbrellas available at the desk). Great variety of restaurants close by. Hotel did an excellent job of keeping to Balinese theme throughout hotel.
Cons: We found the bed too firm and the futon comforter too warm. Rooms very small by North American standards - be prepared (and we managed for four days with 2 adults, 2 suitcases, two carry-on bags and some shopping).

Pros: Good quality and nice hotel. In the city center, close to the Kannai station. Be careful, Yokohama station is not in the city center, neither is the shinkasen station. So you have to travel two stations with local JR Yokohama metro before reaching Yokohama station.

Cons: Pillows a bit lumpy - filled with an unusual material. Perhaps good for a hot humid climate
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staffs was very helpful, however, I have seen a few that was not too friendly. We loved the breakfast buffet, huge varieties of choice and a great view of Yokohama Harbour. The room was spacious compare to our room in Gotanda and amazing view of Yokohama Harbour.
Cons: We stayed for 2 nights in Monterey Yokohama Hotel. I booked the room at the last minutes and it was the only room available at the time which was a smoking room. I was aware of it but did not expect how very strong the smells until we got out of the elevator. I had headache right away and my sinus started to come back. The room was big, but quite an old style. I saw the carpet was quite dirty, maybe from ages. I think they need to make a renovation.

Pros: It is very close to the shin-Yokohama station and the Yokohama arena (3 minutes walk). It was ideal for us coming from Osaka to attend a show at the arena. Didn't explore further the surroundings but there are cafeterias and convenience stores nearby.
Cons: The room walls are pretty thin so you can hear what's going on outside your room or in the next one. Luckily for us we didn't have loud neighbors.

Pros: If you need to be near Shin-Yokohama station then this location is convenient, just about a 5-minute walk away. The staff were always kind when we left and returned to the hotel.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: 1. The location. It is near chinetown, minatomirai, and in front of yokohama stadium. Lots of restaurant. I would recommend the restaurant sukia. It was really good. 2. The behavior of staffs. Specially, one staff has helped me a lot to understand the functionality of the Japanese washing machine. It was unexpected. 3. The atmosphere. 4. Great room service. 5. Quality of room and bathroom are good and specious. 6. Secure.
Cons: More fluency in English may be helpful for international travelers. Though I found their English are better than other places.
6.8 Good
Pros: The staff is very polite and friendly. The hotel is at a great location close by the JR station.
Cons: We stayed 4 nights at this hotel (Sadly, we had pre-payed the room. Otherwise would have gone to another hotel). When we checked in, we saw that the room was not cleaned properly. We contacted the front desk and they moved us to another room. This room was not any cleaner. So we went back to the front desk. They asked us to go out and come back later so that they could clean the room. We went out. When we came back the room was partially cleaned. We took some pictures and showed these at the front desk. They promissed us that they would take care of the rest of the cleaning in the morning. In de morning we saw that the cleaning ladies did not even have a proper Hoover. To the management of this hotel: you have cleaning ladies that work really hard. Please give them a proper Hoover so that they can do their job. If you have any allergies, consider staying at an other hotel. We posted some pictures of the airconditioning unit in de room. It will make you sick. We for sure won't be staying at any Deiwa hotels in de future.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good service and amenities. They gave us face masks
Cons: It was actually quite far from the station.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: outside the window are only walls
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Stay here often because of larger rooms compared to other business hotels, friendly and helpful staff and location between Kannai and Ishikawacho stations
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice and varied, good personal service.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The spacious room, clean and comfortable. Hotel facility and deco - classy. Just a stone-throw away from Chinatown. A short walk to Nihon-odori station, Yamashita Park, Motomachi. Real value for money.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location and reception staff services are excellent. Proximity to city centre, convenience store and subway train station. High money value!
Cons: Limited TV channels and lack of onsen/public bath area but not critical based on hotel charge.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service at front desk, they were very kind on all I needed
Cons: Room was not complétely cleaned every day
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect place with nearby food and sightseeing. Property was very clean and the perfect place for business mind traveler with room, bathroom, desk, and bed. Price was outstanding for all mentioned.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are very helpful despite the language barrier. The room is designed with high functionality in mind. The green initiative the hotel runs is easy to understand and opt in for.
Cons: The lobby was hard to find due to the lack of English signs and directions
9.6 Excellent
Pros: My room wasn't big, but I was nonetheless pleasantly surprised by it, given what I paid. The hotel has some style, though my room was a little characterless, and had no view of anything interesting out the window. The room had a simple desk, which was useful to me. I needed to do laundry, and they had a simple in-house laundromat which was cheap and easy to use. Everything was spotlessly clean. Two subway station were within about a seven-minute walk. Reception staff were friendly and polite.
Cons: For one person, the room was fine. For two, though it had a double bed, it would have been a little cramped. And as I say, the room didn't have much character--pretty functional. But these are quibbles -- really, there wasn't anything to complain about. I would recommend it.

Pros: The location is good. Near to the underground station and a lot of resorts. The room is very clean and the staff are very helpful. The breakfast is ok.
Cons: The room is a bit small. There is not enough power socket. The window cannot be opened probably due to security reason but not good for a smoking room.

Pros: The staff and manager are very friendly and kind. I accidentally booked a smoker room and realized this after check-in. Two minutes and a call with the manager later, I moved into a non-smoker room. Thank you very much for your help and understanding, guests appreciate this very much. どうもありがとうございます。

Pros: Good Location
Cons: Too small room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They had the most comfortable bed I've ever had in a hotel. I just sunk into it. Other than that, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the train station, less if you weren't carrying luggage, and that station was only a couple stops away from Yokohama station - great location.
Cons: I wish I had known the bed was the way it was. I would have booked an extra night or two. The only complaint I have - and this isn't really a complaint - is that you could tell that it was an older room. It was clean but you could also see the occasional scuff on the wall. That sort of thing.
7.5 Good
Pros: Central to most things in Yokohama. Close to Sakuragicho station, easy to jump on a train there to Tokyo when we finished our stay.
