Pros: The city suites is just a few minutes walk from the Arndale shopping Centre, lots of shop and restaurants. The studio apartment we stayed in was clean, spacious and the bed was extremely comfy. We would definitely stay here again!
7.5 Good
Pros: Property was very nice but a few teething problems but would stay again. The pool facility was lovely always very clean.
Cons: not really child friendly my young son was stood near the lamp when it shattered all over his hands he got a small cut from this happening. We also found what we believe is a calcium blocker tablet which my young son nearly put in his mouth. The light by the door as you first walk in was also faulty and was flickering all the time. I was in bed and the maintenance man just walked in without knocking. I also do not agree on the 7day policy to have the apartment cleaned.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff and wonderful service always friendly and willing to help. Lovely rooms and great bar.
Cons: Like anything coild have been a bit cheaper. Had to change from sat to a friday as a wedding party had the bar booked. Found out it would have been cheaper if i cancelled then re booked.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Great looking room. I got an upgrade which was really nice. Great staff welcome
Cons: I have to rate this stay poorly despite an incredibly stylish and well located stay due to the fact that it was impossible to sleep. I requested a quiet room in advance, rather kindly I got an upgrade but the acoustics under my room (room 11) and paper thin walls meant I heard EVERYTHING- everyone from the bar, everyone leaving with their cases and got to sleep at midnight only to be woken at 4am by a loud conversation and then 6am bar prep. Not worth staying anywhere you can't sleep. I have had to head back to london this morning for meetings with 4 hours sleep.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Stylish rooms. Amazing facilities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, decent location, lovely friendly staff every time I have stayed, nice food and very comfortable rooms / beds / pillows. Its just a Greta little hotel.

7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely hotel and decor
Cons: On 2 ocassion the maids walked in our room whilst we where in it. They just nock and walk straight in without waiting for anyone to answer the door. My husband hand just got. Out of the shower on one of those ocassion and the other because we had a child free night we decided to have a lie in and the maid walked in and woke us up so just be careful.

Pros: Classy decor, clean throughout. Location is great in central manchester. Rooms are well equipped, we had cheapest room but it still had a bathroom bigger than most hotel rooms in manchester! Coffee maker, bug tv, comfy bed. Hotel gas a rooftop bar with table service which was excellent. Staff are bang in form!
Cons: Oh hotel gotham... those drinks prices! Its expensive! Two cocktails and a bowl of crisps came to over thirty pounds! They were lovely, but you would expect them to be for that price!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best hotels I've had the pleasure of staying in. And I've stayed in a LOT of hotels.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The facilities, the location, and the luxury are all fantastic - exactly what I wanted for our anniversary.
Cons: Unfortunately, within the club bar area, both our pre and post evening meal visit, we encountered a group of other residents who clearly did not understand the ethics and the values of the Hotel. This will be an issue I will be taking forward with the Hotel directly and is not for the visibility / communication of this page.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Design and location
Cons: There’s nothing to not like
7.7 Good
Pros: The location is excellent, just opposite to the train station. Room is very small but has been designed to include all the necessary facilities. Plenty of power sockets for laptop, mobile, etc. Wifi was free, reliable and of reasonable speed. Ample provision of tea and coffee in the room. Friendly staff and a good system for luggage storage in the hotel lobby.
Cons: Noise insulation isn't that good as I could hear people speaking in the other room, etc. The stool for the work desk was not suitable for me to do much work as it was tiring without a back support. Occasionally, housekeeping wasn't to the standard required as I found the same pillowcases with my hair on it, carpet was not hoovered, etc.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, modern rooms with decent beds, noon check out, very affordable price point. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: A little bit more information about the room would have been nice; maybe it's intuitive to others but I didn't realize I needed to put my card into a slot when I first walked in, or that the shower fan was controlled along with the thermostat, etc.

Pros: The position is amazing. It’s in the best part of Manchester close to all amenities including a huge mall, the Manchester arena, restaurants, bar... everything! The hotel is nice and cozy, furnished with taste, and the room are well organised. It was very clean everywhere. The staff have been very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Small improvements: A rubbish bin in the room and not only in the toilet and an intermediate level of curtains. At the present you can only either close them and get total darkness or leave them open and have 0 privacy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was amazing the decor was such a lovely modern style feel. The bathroom was beautiful with the best lighting. Bed was the comfiest bed I have slept in. I can not fault the check in and out staff they was delightful. Hotel is next to Armadale and near all the great bars and markets. Couldn’t fault this fabulous hotel loved every minute of it and didn’t want to leave. The price for the hotel was great value
Cons: -
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I did not have breakfast at the hotel as I had breakfast meetings nearby. Hotel location was excellent, right in the middle of the town and still my room was very quiet. I loved the cleanliness of the room and bathroom, excellent towels and coffee making facility in the room. The staff attitude was always pleasant and the bar at the hotel was very convenient.
Cons: Limited choice of programs on the TV. A few film channels would have been nice to have.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, modern feel, clean, well decorated room, good check in service with good advice about how to order in food to the room from deliveroo. Good, free WiFi
Cons: Noise. Understand this can’t be fully controlled by the hotel but literally had doors slamming and people noisily coming back to their rooms the entire night. Kind of spoilt an otherwise good stay.

7.0 Good
Pros: View to the stadium and being right next to Old Trafford is definitely a dream for man utd supporter and super convenient for those attending the game
Cons: The water drainage at the bathroom probably the worst I have seen (maybe just for the room we stayed) but the shower place was flooded within 10 seconds, and ventilation was poor
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel was excellent as I was there for a football match at old Trafford. I was very pleased to be offered a view of the old Trafford stadium which I didn't think I would get for the price I paid
Cons: There wasn't anything major that I didn't like. The shower in the bathroom was overhead however a shower cap was not provided. The bathroom had some wasted space, as I believe the shower area could have been made as a cubicle and the wall opposite could possibly have a longer towel rail. The current towel rail next to the sink is very small for the towels provided, therefore guest may not choose to keep existing towels for longer stays.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: I have stayed here a lot in the past but the food didn’t live up to its usual standards. Still good quality food, just not as high standards as previous stays.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Excellent hotel! Good service and rooms where great. Loved the football theme and the min bar
7.4 Good
Pros: Tantastic Manchester United football atmosphere and hype before and after the game
Cons: The beds were a little small and of course on game days it's a bit pricey. They could use a better gym for a hotel dedicated to Sport
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good clean spacious room with good vibe

Cons: We booked a suit got there realized it was small, stayed 2 nights and took an extra room.Day 3 we booked a two bedroom suit which really isn't it's just them bringing two rooms together. We were shown a suit with a balcony & since my artist is super claustrophobic and has a lot of luggage we agreed to that.Upon going to pay they claimed someone booked that particular room for 2 nights and we booked it right with them less than an hr ago for 3 nights. These super racist hotel people just because the person was black almost even lied they never showed us the room.We left the hotel and booked a huge 3 bedroom penthouse suit somewhere else.Mind u we had no issues we these people we just decided to leave after realizing it was more of a racist thing, I forgot to mention their services suck, they barely help with anything like umbrellas and opening doors smh we never even had a conversation with any one except the manager the day we left but go this email today claiming we were rude to their guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service, stylish, interesting history
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: I didn’t have a credit card It took about 20 minutes to go through an agonising process of paying via a paper form
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room perfectly comfortable, bed comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast was a disappointment, room overcrowded difficult squeezing past chairs. A la carte poor choice. Crockery not removed from table , I had teapot used cup used buffet plate side plate on small table trying to drink coffee. No cutlery on display or side plates for coisannts.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The ambiance of the hotel created by the brand but also the staff - couldn't fault. We had a really relaxing evening and enjoyed the spa facilities before breakfast. We will definitely stay again and have recommended to friends and family. Thank you all and really well done :)
Cons: I feel the breakfast didn't quite match my expectations and wasn't what I would rate as outstanding. There was only scrambled eggs available on the buffet, although there was an additional menu but neither of us had our glasses - our fault. I expected there to be sparkling wine to make a mimosa and thought there was basic hot choices. It was however adequate and absolutely no complaints as the quality was excellent.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: The employees are so rude they promised to let me check in earlier but they wouldn’t unless I pay more for upgrades, the key must be recharged every day, and they forgot to clean the room

6.8 Good
Pros: Nice setting and location, good breakfast and friendly staff.

Pros: On arrival the receptionist was welcoming and helpful. She even helped us with our requests on the room location. All the staff were amazing, both at the gym and when we went for breakfast. The location could not be better for checkin at terminal 2, as its only a 2 min walk down the sky walk. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will be using it again next time we fly from Manchester.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: lovely breakfast
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I was allowed into room earlier than the check in time which was really helpful of the management. The hotel is close to the train station in Marple - and the town centre just up the road. The management were friendly, but was able to maintain privacy in the hotel. My room was very comfy - simple but with everything required - kettle/sink etc, the room was really clean and shared bathroom likewise, lovely big old bath tub and shower too! The hotel is obviously well looked after, and cleanliness a priority. Overall the place had a cosy, welcoming feel to it. Marple and surrounding area are really pretty - lots of walking and outdoor exploration opportunities.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant is absolutely excellent. Some of the best food I've had in a hotel. It is authentic Italian food.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is in a great location and the staff can't do enough for you. Some of the rooms are a bit dated but looking at some of the other rooms the hotel is doing something about this and updating them.
Cons: Just the dated room but like I say the hotel is amending this as they go along.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: By was very good.
9.6 Excellent

Cons: This was the second visit in the last 5 months. There was nothing we didn't like. We would stay there again.
7.9 Good
Pros: Hotel is nicely presented, Good breakfast selection. Room was Very clean.
Cons: Loud noise from plumbing somewhere occasionally but did not interfere with our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely lovely hotel. My excellent experience began before I even left my house, where I received an email from them shortly after making my booking with regards to arriving approximately between 12 and 1 and they informed me check in is usually at 2 but they would do their best to accommodate my needs. Upon arrival the receptionist informed me that I wasn't able to check in as they had been busy. She informed me that I may leave my stuff behind reception until I returned from Manchester after midnight. Lovely lady, smiley and cheerful. Wish I had seen what her name was to name her. The hotel was lovely and clean and welcoming. When I arrived back at midnight, the night staff were now behind the reception desk. Again, smiley and cheerful and very helpful. My room was spotless, clean and a nice size. The bed was lovely and comfortable. I had an amazing sleep which seemed to go on and on. Bliss. Breakfast the following morning was beautiful. A nice selection and cooked beautifully. Very small grumble though, the hot items could have been a slightly bit hotter. The restaurant was beautifully laid out and the breakfast staff accomodating. My checkout experience was nicely done too with yet another happy smiley face behind the desk. I will most definitely use this hotel again and highly recommend to others.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to local railway station. Good and ample parking. Easy access to Manchester. Friendly staff. Large bedrooms.
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good. Staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The car park is large enough to cope. The room was very clean and the room temperature was good.
Cons: The access in and out of the car park is an issue. Siren noise from the emergency vehicles from the nearby hospital where noticeable late at night. The room was small in size compared to most Manchester hotels I am using.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, very friendly staff and good quality food.
Cons: Restaurant for breakfast and dinner was a bit cold and draughty.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Exceptionally clean. Quiet location. Well maintained grounds. Good car park.
Cons: Internal doors in room are very heavily spring loaded and you are forever opening doors between the bathroom and the bedroom. This is tiresome and annoying and makes it difficult to get luggage in and out of the room. No covered walkway between rooms and bar/restaurant means getting soaked in rainy weather. Breakfast is very oily and the lack of proper brown sauce (HP), especially being up north, is poor. Cheap, no name brand, sauce is not good enough. Orange juice from concentrate is not great considering you are paying £10 for breakfast... Easy to fix though and you'll have even happier customers. As you can gather from my notes, breakfast did not hit the spot for me especially paying £100 a room and an additional £10 for a poor breakfast. Not much choice other than what goes into a full English breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant people and good food.
Cons: The bedrooms are in a separate building to the hotel facilities. Also if you are not happy with stairs ask for a ground floor room.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good food, friendly staff and excellent service during our stay and at a private function there.
Cons: Even though the hotel has history and charm, some of the facilities on offer did not seem to show flair and imagination.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good with enough choice to make it worth the £10. We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening and that was very good quality and value too. The staff are super friendly and have a very good rapport with the guests.
Cons: Apart from the window cleaner turning up at 7.30 there was nothing to dislike.
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff pleasant
Cons: Fire alarm going off twice in quick succession Followed fire instructions in Saarland and wet with no one about to give further instructions Rung reception to be told it was someone smoking in their room
6.7 Good
Pros: the rooms feel a little dated and tired, and would benefit from a refurb.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was very good. Very impressed.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The room was comfortable. The serving of the food to be in different plates and not overfilled in one.
