Pros: staff very friendly! shuttles were great and on time always. Breakfast delightful. Always will stay here before and after flights.
Cons: the room across from the kitchen a little noisy in the early morning hours, did not affect me as I get up early but might be a problem for someone else.

Pros: Convenient. Close to airport. Clean. Kind, caring employees. Breakfast...they even opened it early for my very early departure.
Cons: Really close proximity to interstate, slightly loud when hanging out outside.

They have not only shuttle to airport, but to the zoo, Old Town and Sea World. You can actually get by without a rental car staying there. All people were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: I liked everything, but the price seems to be a little high (It was our first time in San Diego, so I can only compare to LA area). Unfortunately we didn't have time to use a pool or any other facilities. If we had, I might feel differently. Also the location is good from the commute point of view, but not good from the walk around point of view. I knew it when I booked, so I was not disappointed.

Pros: The hotel is the historic building, has been around since mid 1800s. Today, it retains all that old charm but with modern amenities. No TV, no house phone, no clock radio. But hot water is hot, water pressure strong, and there’s a/c plus wifi (though can be a bit slow from time to time). Location cannot be any better: right smack in the middle of the Old Town Square surrounded by all the attractions that draw you here in the first place.

Cons: Didn’t get to taste the breakfast because when our server came she didn’t offer us coffee and took forever to even talk to us. We checked out casa Guadalajara and it was fire. didn’t like that there was hidden fee’s of 50 bucks per night.

6.7 Good
Pros: Maybe just the shower in the room
Cons: I didn’t like the fact that you have to pay $20.00 for parking. That makes no sense to me when you are staying in the hotel. 1st time I ever had to pay for parking and I’ve been at much nicer places like JW Marriott and they don’t even charge for parking. So I was a lil disappointed with that.

Cons: The worst bed I have ever encountered there in a hotel by far.
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: Water offered in the lobby and safe parking. The location is fine in the old town .
Cons: Bad smell in all the three rooms I tried. Also, you feel that they are doing you a favor for anything such as the Wifi and parking space which was suprizing as it was indicated that parking is abalible, but once you check in, the front desk tells you that you need to pay $20+ per night for a parking space. The repetition of Hilton is down in my mind for the experience I had.

Pros: Location
Cons: The receptionist was awful and he give me a dirty room
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Convince
Cons: Some of your staff needs to be trained better. Borderline rude. Of the five staff I dealt with the check-in women was great. A Hispanic lady and a Asian lady when checking out. A rude man who seemed like he knew nothing about the Hotel when asked

Pros: Beautiful and attractive hotel with good location near the freeway and Old Town San Diego. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was nice. Room is attractive but on the small side. Breakfast was okay but not great. Beware of HIGH $25 parking charge!
Cons: Walls and ceilings are paper thin! Noise from adjacent and upstairs rooms was loud. Hallway doors are locked at night and every time someone went in or out they slammed shut and woke us up! One of the WORST nights ever! Won't stay there again!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: When u book online it doesn’t mention the 25.00 daily surcharge to park on hotel property. I know when I checked in several customers were not aware of this either and were very upset, But looking around the hotel there is no place to park out side vacinity.
Cons: Parking surcharge.

Pros: The location of this property is fantastic.
Cons: The staff was very unaccommodating for my situation. I needed adjoining rooms, since I had minors, and had called ahead to make sure I could get them. When I checked in I was not giving adjoining rooms.

Pros: Friendly staff available to assist when needed, quick to act on request for satisfactory results.
Cons: On check in I needed to remind reception of the parking permit needed, they did not mention there was a parking lot much closer to my rooms when one guest was handicap. When trying the TV the remote was not working, maintenance showed up in minutes to repair, very nice and had great attitude. When going to my room or front lobby the facility smelled horribly of marijuana as some guest felt very comfortable with smoking right outside of the elevator that everyone uses. Management did a great job in correcting the issue once I complained about it.

Cons: Upon entering our room, the toilet did not flush at all. Luckily, the maintenance man was able to fix it for us. The motel is very outdated and could really use an entire renovation. The furniture looks so old that it is just coated in dirt and stains that at this point, can't be removed even with deep cleaning. The parking lot also seemed to attract some sketchy characters, although the office does do a good job of monitoring the people who come in & out of rooms. I think with a full makeover, this spot could be a nice place to stay considering how close it is to Old Town.
