Pros: Lovely breakfast with homemade pastries. A warm welcome from lovely staff who were very accommodating. Easy to park and bring in luggage. Super good value room rate. Fixtures and fittings a bit dated, but for me this added to the homely charm of the place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Sorriso is owned and run by a delightful family who are very warm, friendly, and gracious. The hotel is beautiful, and the room we stayed in was very comfortable and clean. There is on-site parking, always a bonus when traveling in Italy! The owners have created several outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the incredible mountain views. Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety food to choose from, and the wife even made a homemade pastry which was delicious. She saw how much I enjoyed it and put a piece in a bag for me to take with us as we left! The walk into the city center only takes about 10 minutes. We highly recommend driving the Gavia Pass, located quite close to Ponte di Legno. The day we drove it was gorgeous and we ran into a huge herd of sheep crossing the road quite high up the mountain (photo)...an experience we'll never forget!

6.3 Good
Pros: The spa was very good. Friendly and good service
Cons: The front reception was a joke. Arrogant staff who really look down at guests. The had my wife’s passport which they need for legal reasons as it’s an Italian hotel. But they didn’t hand it back. When we asked for it back, they said they didn’t have it, we argued they did and it became heated. They then realised they had it under a different room.. no apology, sorry, just handed it to us if it was our problem. Same when I tried to check out. I was leaving for an earlier flight than my wife and wanted to check out. They wouldn’t unless I had the card key.. I had no choice but to waken my wife at 7 am and get it. Again same arrogant approach. I run hotels and I would fire the lot of them

Cons: The ski room is very small, no place to dry the boots

7.0 Good
Pros: The location is very convenient. The hotel provides ski storage and parking. The spa is good, two visits per person were included in the room rate.
Cons: 1) Check-in took around 40 minutes. There was a long queue and only one person worked at the reception. 2) We were asked to pay city tax in cash at the check-out but it was not clarified on the website or in the confirmation. By checking the amount the hotel took from my credit card it looks like I was already charged for it. Still not sure if I was double-charged or not. 3) Spa did not work on Saturday and we were not informed in advance, so we didn't use one of our free tickets. If we knew that we could go another day. 4) Very cold floor in the room and slippers were not provided. It would be good to have bathrobes as well. 5) Guests have to throw away garbage at the end of the stay by themselves otherwise guests can be charged. 6) Usually at the hotel's restaurant staff put the bill on our room number and you can pay during the check-out. One evening they asked us to pay cash for the dinner and when we said that we would like to pay by card they asked us to go to the reception and pay. We went to the reception and had been waiting for a while until someone appeared to charge us.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Cold atmophere
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, friendly stuff, perfect food, games room for kids, perfect environment for Christmas, just amazing!!!
Cons: Location, room, food, environment, stuff
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location, close to the lifts and slopes. Acceptable breakfast, very good ski storing place with heaters. SPA. Friendly staff.
Cons: A quite expensive hotel, unfortunately, we had no other options due to late booking.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: 1) Location- very close to the slopes, not too far from the city. Super convenient. 2) The building has probably been recently renovated, both on the outside and the inside (apartments, pool area, spa, common spaces- all in very good conditions). 3) Ski-box on the way to the slopes is very handy and well equipped, with keycard-opening heated brand new lockers. 4) Staff was nice and always available 5) The apartment was daily sized with updated furniture and new kitchenware.
Cons: 1) The playroom area definitely needs to be updated- not very usable in its current setup. However, considering the rest of the facility’s outlook definitely shows a much better layout, I think management already knows this and I assume they are already planning to upgrade the offer in that area. 2) Our apartment was on the 4th floor, which meant a few meters from the doorstep to the elevator had to be walked on the outdoor balcony. Not a big deal, just a little uncomfortable with kids in case you want them to freely wonder to and from the common spaces (bar, pool, playroom, etc.) without freezing (we were there during ski season). 3) I know this is not really an “issue”, nor that this comment can be generalized beyond the “personal opinion” level. However I think it needs to remarked that for great part of the winter the hotel is almost entirely booked by group travelers from Eastern Europe. During my stay, most of them were ok- families with kids. However, being large groups, some degree of noise is inevitable. But that actually didn’t bothered me as much as the incidental few drunks met by the bar, or around the hallways, not so late at night. Nothing really dangerous, nor truly annoying. Mine is clearly not a matter of ethnicity (I’m Italian, and such large groups of Italians abroad would be way much worse neighbors). Also, I clearly don’t blame the Residence administrators- actually I commend them- for working well with foreign clients. I just think future residents should know that the scenario at the Adamello resort is very much international.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is right in the village and walking distance to lifts. Perfect place and very much locals that makes it very genuine. The ski lift goes all the way up to Passo del Tonale and definitely worth taking it instead of driving car up there. And the Hotell have lockers to store the equipment at the lift to Tonale.
Cons: The bed was really hard. I weigh 104kg and prefer hard beds but this was the hardest ever. But my lighter girlfriend who was pregnant and 30kgs lighter had no problems.

7.5 Good
Pros: A locker room for skii boots, skii equipment. It is really nice to put on each day dry and warm skii boots. Location of the hotel is nice, breakfast was also good, with marvelous offers of deserts, delicious crossans...and other"pasticeria".
Cons: It is a simple hotel, O.K. (yet a little older) accomodation, which perfectly suits me, however it could /should be a little cheaper considering what it offers. I did not like that buying a sort of club card -more then 100 eur for 4 persons(free enter to fitness, mini club animation...) was obligatory. We came to skii and we did not need nor use this services, yet we had to pay for them...
5.4 Okay
Pros: Near the slopes. The quality of the buffet was pretty high for being such. Personnel was friendly
Cons: Not a 4star hotel, not a chance. WiFi not working. We had a buffet instead of a restaurant service. Rooms are old and not renovated since a while.
1.0 Poor
Cons: This hotel has a problem related to expectations and price point. It does not live up to the standards of a 4-stars hotel, and does not justify at all the price paid per night, which was at least 5 times higher my willingness to pay for such a hotel and service. I felt robbed and deceived. Rooms are old and with a poor level of cleanliness (e.g. stains on the moquette and on the chair). Toilets and shower are extremely small. The walls are also extremely thin, which means that it was impossible to sleep before 12am given the justified chats and TV noise made by our neighbors. Least but not last, the rooms had a very unpleasant smell. The staff was kind enough to change our first room (in which the smell was really unbearable), but the second room wasn't any better. Despite the hotel advertises having SPA services (sauna), be ware: you need to book them in advance as they are not able to accommodate hotel capacity.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Great location, great view from the window. The room was clean.
Cons: Bad value for money. We had an ugly old room with a dark, very small bathroom. For lunch (self servise!) for 3 people and a small child we paid 100 euros and everything was cold and half of the stuff was gone!
7.0 Good
Pros: Bed was comfy
Cons: Nothing
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good location
Cons: Smallest bathroom ever. Terrible WiFi. Small and disappointing SPA area.
