Pros: Dene Guest House was extremely well-located in Edinburgh's New Town, about a 10 minute from the bus/tram to the airport, Princes Street (the high street of New Town) and maybe a 15 minute walk to the old city (castle, royal mile, etc.). The single room was small, as is to be expected, but very well-maintained - and there was a sink in the room, which was an unexpected luxury. All the staff were very nice and accommodating, and Simone was easy to contact in advance and afterwards by email for everything I needed. I was there an entire week and had no complaints at all.
