Cons: The sound proofing is poor. Street noises . I booked double room .it came with 2 single beds next to each other.

Pros: Location, the friendliness of the team, the facilities, the atmosphere and of course the rooftop bar! I will miss that view!

Cons: Nothing, it was literally perfect!

Pros: Location was perfect, room was very comfortable and clean. We were there for Athens marathon, it was walking distance from the central station for pick up and it was walking distance from finish line.

Pros: Just like everyone has mentioned, amazing view from the breakfast area! Not to be missed! Unfortunately it was too cold in the season for us to sit outside! Also, prompt service from the staff for any questions and requests!

Pros: New and feels cutting edge. Good location right in the heart of everything. A/C in the rooms works well on hot summer days.

Cons: The way in which the hotel is new and cutting edge feels like it was put together very quickly, and in a few years time won't be that nice. Showers seem to leak water all over the bathroom. Service at the restaurant/bar on the rooftop is mediocre.

Cons: The rooftop restaurant is terrible! The view is incredible. The food there is as bad as it gets. Take in the view during the free breakfast; the meals they serve there at all other times is not worth paying for (it is disgusting, masquerading as "haute cuisine" The spa is nice but lacks any written guidelines to ensure guest tranquility. Letting children use the spa and having no rules relating to that can ruin the experience for other guests. Kids shouldn't be in the hot tub/heated pool area unsupervised. Nor should they be learning how to swim or doing water tricks. It's supposed to be peaceful. Children shouldn't ruin experience for other guests. We couldn't use sauna or steam room because it was overrun with young kids. I have no problem with children but the lack of any rules or restrictions as it pertains to the spa is really problematic at Electra Metropolis. as a result my enjoyment of facilities was extremely limited.

Pros: It is the best hotel we have been in, and we have been in quite a few... Location is perfect, walking distance to every attraction, room is spacious, clean and all amenities are new and of very high standards. Staff is very kind and helpful, and finally the rich and tasty breakfast st the 10th floor restaurant with the panoramic view of Athens and the Acropolis is just AMAZING!

Pros: Close to tourist sites and eating places. Porters were so helpful and always ready to help as soon as you hopped out of a taxi. Room was large with couch. Hotel room clean and spacious and luxurious. Free breakfast and amazing view of Acropolis on top floor. Didn't realise until 2nd day that there was an old church on the porch of the hotel - amazing.

Pros: Very nice hotel, great location. The room was quite big and the bed was sooo comfortable. I was impressed by the design.

Cons: They could improve breakfast. It's ok to have the same breakfast everyday but food that should be warm was cold constantly.

Pros: Reception area good. Dining areas very good. Room was disappointing. Booked a single in error. When advised we were “upgraded” to a double at extra charge. Reality was it was still a single room with very little space despite being told it was a larger room.

Pros: The room, bar and restaurant but sadly the whole experience was ruined by the spa experience.

Cons: The Spa is dreadful. The staff are rude, there are no towels or robes or anything in the tiny changing rooms. You have to book to use the Sauna despite being told that we could use it at anytime during the opening times. There is no mention of this need to book in the spa brochure left in our room. We booked two appointments for the end of our stay one after the other as they are unable to do two treatments at once. My treatment was 20minutes late starting and is by far the worst treatment I have ever had in my life. I booked a relaxing 70minute massage and instead I got maybe 50mins of rough and extremely painful treatment. At the start of the treatment I was left waiting in the room lying down for a good ten minutes whilst the therapist was hard selling products to the other member of our party who was having a treatment before me with no regard for the fact that my treatment was late to start. The therapist then came in and did not dim the lights and kept stopping and starting for the first five to 10 minutes whilst she messed about with the air conditioning. Then she began a very painful and rough massage- jabbing her elbow into my ribs and spine. I kept telling her it was hurting and I wanted a relaxing massage and she told me she was a physical therapist and there were knots in my back that had been there for years and I would feel much better afterwards. At one point it was so painful I started to cry at which point she told me to breathe through it and started blowing on my back which was weird and unpleasant. Then she said turn over again not dimming the lights. She did not massage the backs of my legs at all just stroked the front of my legs and arms a bit then complained her hands were hurting and she was tired. She then sat down behind me and proceeded to massage my shoulders in the same spot over and over for 20mins then roughly massaged my scalp and that was it. I was left shaking and in extreme pain at the end of the treatment.

Pros: Fantastic view from the breakfast terrace on the roof top.

Pros: Service was impeccable, food was delicious, especially upstairs on the rooftop. Killer view. Oh, and the mattress and bedsheets are of high quality - you'll sleep very well.

Pros: We loved our room with the view of the Acropolis. Wonderful to wake up to. And the location was excellent, in the Plaka, but just a little away from the busiest part, so quiet at night.

Pros: Stayed here either side of a trip to Hydra island so reviewed twice. Location was perfect - close to everything, 5 min walk to Monistiraki station on the Pireaus - Airport metro line. Staff were friendly and helpful. Luggage storage was helpful. Breakfast on roof top terrace was great.

Pros: It was a cheap stay for 1 night during transit. The location was great and it was easy to be able to walk to all the sites in Athens downtown (i.e. Syntgama square, Monisteraki market and Plaka). Breakfast was good and starts early. I am a vegetarian and I had few options but plenty like fruits, cereals, bread and some dessert. They have juice, coffee and tea. For meat eaters, they had lots of options like eggs, some cured meats, fish, omelette, etc.

Cons: The carpets were outdated and looked overused. The bathroom was too small and compact. Had a stuffy smell in the room which I guess was because of old carpet.

Pros: All the staff was very helpful and nice. The room was great and the buffet breakfast superb,with a lot of variety.The location is the best,within a walking distance of the main attractions of the city.

Pros: Good area near lots of restaurants and major sites. Hotel is very basic with very small rooms. Good to rest and shower but far from luxury. Basic tourist level 2/3 star spot. AC was very good.
