Cons: The location was terrible and the staff was extremely unhelpful. I fell down a staircase and not one person offered to help me up or ask if I was ok. The hotel room was filthy and full of flies. I felt extremely unsafe staying there and DO NOT recommended this hotel to anyone in the future. The bathroom was also dirty I had to clean the tub myself before I could even use it as it was filled with debris and hair. Overall the experience was awful.

Cons: This hotel is located in a very bad part of Athens. When we were checking out and going to a different hotel, Fresh Hotel refused to provide a refund for the day that we did not stay.

Pros: They have a very nice breakfast.
Cons: The difference between a standard room and a luxury standard room is virtually zero. The rooms generally are extremely small. The hotel is situated in a dirty, rough part of the central city with prostitutes and thugs on the street. Management seems to believe that their guests are lucky to stay there. I gave this hotel a second chance about a week ago. Never again.

Pros: I thought the hotel was great, nice modern interior, fantastic location, 5 minute walk to Monastiraki Square, room was pretty spacious and the rooftop pool was small but still refreshing after a long day of touring. The breakfast was fantastic, a great spread!

Pros: Rooftop restaurant has a view on the Acropolis. Food is execellent as well. That by itself made the hotel worthwhile. We also had to check-out early. Although we were not able to go to the breakfast buffet (since it was too early) the hotel still provided a small spread for people in our situation, which was really nice (beats starting your day on an empty stomach). Also, we arrived before the normal check-in time and they were able to get us a room. Given we had been in a plane for 9 hours and jet lagged out of our skulls, this was very very nice.
Cons: The bed was actually two twins pushed together. But given we had arrived earlier than the regular check-in time, this was a small oversight that I didn't even mention to the hotel staff. I was just happy to have a room.

Cons: The hotel promises internet and wifi but once you get there, they tell you that if you want internet in your room you have to pay for it and it is expensive!!! The room smelled of cigarette and the bathroom smelled of stale mold. The staff was impolite, at best, except for Adonis at the front desk, he was extremely courteous and helpful.VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE!

Pros: The Dorian Inn was a great experience. We spent a week there and the staff were very courteous and prompt. The hotel itself was very clean and updated. The location was very close to Plaka and the Acropolis.
Cons: The location isn’t in the best part of town. After doing research, the streets behind the hotel is an area to avoid when walking after dark.

Pros: I really enjoyed the rooftop bar and the view of the sites as well as the pool. The staff was friendly and spoke English well. The beds were made and the maids were generous with towels. Taxis were easy to grab from the front entrance of the hotel.
Cons: I did not enjoy that there was not a hot tub. A hot tub at the pool would have been great. I did not enjoy the smokers that were sitting near my on the outdoor patio. Once we arrived we were set to walk 10 minutes to restaurant not that far from our hotel room but when we set out to walk both streets around the hotel did not look safe even at 3pm daylight. We ended up taking a taxi both times we left the hotel due to safety reasons.

Pros: It's fine. The neighborhood isn't great at night. If you aren't selling of buying heroin I'm sure you'll be aok. Granted we are from a city of hookers and thieves and are generally comfortable in urban settings. The bar/restaurant is pretty good. The view is fantastic. The music was very good house music but I think that's because the bartender is a house music Dj. The hotels location is very central. We stayed 3 nights.

Pros: The hotel itself was good with clean facilities, friendly/helpful staff, and decent WiFi (for a European hotel). Unfortunately we slept through our included breakfast so we can't give any input on that. Overall, great value for the money.
Cons: We read reviews about the hotel being on the "edgier" side of town. Well, the other reviews are accurate. Luckily I'm a big guy and was traveling with another male, but if I had females with me or was with my family I would not have walked back to the hotel at night. Lots of dark allies and individuals lurking around. Just take a cab back at night.

Pros: Location was fantastic with it being close to all the restaurants in Plaka as well as Monasteraki. The rooms were well appointed and the bathrooms were probably the best that my girlfriend saw during our stay in Greece. The rooftop restaurant was world class with awesome views of Hadrien's gate. Highly recommend it. The staff at the reception were great at making reservations and helpful with directions.
Cons: The gym was quite an insult to the hotel of this calibre. It was located outside with outdated equipment out of which most of them didn't work. If I did not know the area well, then I wouldn't have felt safe going to the gym which was accessible from the outside next to a dark street and parking garage.

Cons: There where fleas in my bed and I had an allergic reaction. Also the neighborhood is horrible. Every time we took a taxi they told us to be careful because it was very dangerous. It’s is located in a street that is full of immigrants
