Pros: Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was also good and Scottish breakfast is worth having.
Cons: Very functional place. No remote control for the TV, the fan in the bathroom kept cutting in and out. The shower was intermittant and the bed was particularly uncomfortable

Pros: Very comfy bed/ pillows the room faced the river so a "room with a view". Had been looking forward to eating in the restaurant & even with a reduced menu choice ( due to COVID19)We were not disappointed! The staff were do positive / attentive/ friendly & still managed to make our stay as relaxing as possible...so a big thank you to all of them . Even offered a full breakfast menu when they were going to only have the cold buffet that morning- before closing the restaurant - but staff wanted the few guests staying to still have the option which was really appreciated!

Pros: Nice cosy hotel with pleasant decor and food delicious in bar restaurant. Location is so stunning and Deeside a beautiful corner of Scotland if not one of most scenic areas of Europe.
Cons: Carpet could of been cleaner in bedroom and when booking indication given as to where bedroom located i.e. main hotel or annex building though a minor point!

Pros: The owners made us very welcome and could not do enough for us. My wife is on a gluten free diet and they provided everything for her. You arrive as strangers and leave as good friends. We would highly recommend this Lodge it is in a very nice area. we would definitely go back.

Pros: Beautiful mansion, located at the border of a river, overlooking a wonderful garden and an impressive landscape. Both private and common rooms are very comfortable and wonderfully decorated. The staff is very welcoming providing a warm welcome with (daily) tea and fresh cakes, a tasty breakfast with local products, a cozy living room with a whisky at the fireplace, and great recommendations for walking trails in the environment.

Pros: Staying at Lys-Na-Greyne was heaven. The view on the river is calming and it is the perfect place to rest. The bed is like a little piece of cloud where you will sleep like a log. Joyce is welcoming and she offers tea and cake every afternoon. It is also very well located to visit Aberdeenshire castles and even distilleries

Pros: It was absolutely perfect. Rebecca is a wonderful host, and a great cook. There were plenty of breakfast options, with warm breakfast à la carte. Yum! We stayed in the Ogston Suite - it's so worth every pound you pay. The conservatory overlooking the garden and the small wood is a great relaxing spot that comes with the suite - not to mention the grand parlour room with that touch of prestige; we felt like royals. Thank you again Rebecca, for a wonderful stay! We definitely recommend the Glendavan!

Pros: This was the most incredible place, absolutely astoundingly wonderful. Where to begin: the gorgeous location, the elegant old house, the fabulouse suite, the enormouse bathroom with a big soaking tub, the details like the reading rack on the tub, the fluffy bathrobes, the excellent bath products including foaming bath milk, the fire laid ready to light in the hearth, the most comfortable bed EVER with custom embroidered bedding, the most wonderful and elegant breakfast in the gorgeous dining room. What was not to love?

Cons: Carpet could of been cleaner in bedroom and when booking indication given as to where bedroom located i.e. main hotel or annex building though a minor point!
