Cons: "I was lead to believe I was booking a flight on lufthansa. It turned out it was United in a confirmation email a few weeks following the purchase. Then 24 hours prior to boarding, a notification comes in that I am flying Air Brussels. This leaves me with confusion - which airport terminal to go to, where to check in, who to call, etc. When I finally arrive to the airport at JFK, I find there is no Air Brussels Check in and that I need to go to United. But United no longer operates out of JFK, so I was finally directed to the British Airways terminal to check in with Eurowings. The flight was supposedly a Eurowings flight in collaboration with Lufthansa and United but operated by Brussels Airlines. I’ve never before experienced this miscommunication and confusion with one single flight, especially in my home country. When I booked the flight, it was quite clear it was Lufthansa and I paid Lufthansa prices. I was very disappointed overall with the experience leading me up to boarding time and had I known it was not a Lufthansa plane and crew, I would not have booked it. I hope you can I understand my frustration as this was poorly communicated and manasged and was quite misleading from the start. I would appreciate some compensation or recognition for the confusion as I will no longer be using Kayak or third party booking sites due to the way this was handled. I am a loyal Kayak user, but this was just too much and nothing like I’ve ever experienced before."

Cons: "I had to put up with *loud* banter from 2 flight attendants at the back of the plane throughout the entire flight, which was freakin' annoying to say the least. I'm NOT interested which pilot or male attendant you find cute or want to make out with. You also really shouldn't laugh at passengers' faces after telling them to resume their seat to the upright position. A real shame since their performance "on the floor" was perfect."

Also half of the people getting on the plane did not have. Cons: "DELAYS. I had 4 flights within a weekend all with United and EVERY flight was delayed. The plane also heading to Newark ahead of us was overbooked and some people were pushed onto our plane, not a big deal if all can fit on the plane...but we wouldn't have if it wasn't for the delay causing those flying to Boston to miss their flights. Frustrating and adds an element of concern when faced with delays when the weather is fine. The internet on the plane is also confusing to use...should be clearer. Mistakenly booked my flight before realizing the new carry on policy, so trying to pack everything into a tiny bag to meet requirements was frustrating... definitely don't think I will be booking United again."

STRANDED AT AIRPORT TIL AFTER 9 PM, when hotel shuttle could come get me! Missed seeing my mother, who is in a Skilled Nursing Facility here -- THE ENTIRE REASON FOR MY TRIP! And now I can't see her this morning either, because I have to take the hotel shuttle BACK TO THE AIRPORT to pick up the rental car that I PAID IN ADVANCE TO RESERVE BEGINNING YESTERDAY!!!"

Cons: "Check in agents all might as well have been robots, but with bad attitude. Even at the star alliance gold checkin desk the agent was clearly unhappy/furious (seem to be ongoing issues with the system/ machine frustrating him) and was consistently abrupt and cold though our interaction. He did help by lifting bags onto weigh and to press buttons to get the tickets issued, but I would have a much better experience of United if he has shown any sign of warmth or even smiled. I was struggling with a baby in a carrier, and several suitcase, and he didn't show any sign of humanity. The guy who labeled our bags was a bit nicer. The team overal though just barked instructions at the customers, never looked them in the eyes, and seemed to all hate their jobs. We got our boarding passes issues successfully, yes, but I felt on pins and needles like I had to be very careful not to offend anyone.... Which I don't think is what you want your passengers to feel at the start of a flight."
