I was asked to wait for almost an hour and a half to get my documents cleared for my travel to dubai. After all that wait I was asked to sign an Indemnity form stating that I'll be responsible for any penalties whatsoever from Dubai Immigration if denied entry in dubai. The staff don't even know the rules and have behaved so dumb while dealing with passenger and have zero knowledge about document checks. Either the airline needs to get them more trained before getting them on the floor or needs to take strict action against them. Because wasting my time at the Mumbai airport was not so entertaining for me and the airline did not even seem apologetic about it. Vistara has hired some really unprofessional and uneducated staff at their Mumbai station."

Cons: "Three things : 1) The crew seemed to be relatively inexperienced and just out of college. I observed a couple of informal communication exchanges from their part. But the crew were helpful and tried their best to provide the best customer experience. 2) The boarding process normally starts with business and premium class and then followed by economy. For my flight however the economy class was boarded first while the business class passengers were kept stranded waiting in a separate line. This also reflected the inexperience of the crew which handled the boarding. 3) Vistara was my connecting flight from Pune to Delhi followed by British airways flight from Delhi to London. Though the flights were booked under one ticket, the representative did not checkin my luggage throughout the journey due to which I had to collect my baggage at Delhi and check it in again. The representative explained that vistara still didn't have alliances with most airlines allowing luggage to be checked in till final destination. This is another front on which they can improve."

This caused terrible chaos and they did not seem to understand when I tried to explain that going from Bangalore to vasco de gama was domestic. Other than that a pleasant journey."

Flight attendants would ignore the call button if you tried to page them, and I was left with the garbage from my meal for multiple hours. I thought it would be a decent airline because it was part of Star Alliance, but it was an absolutely terrible experience."

I am an experienced flyer and I realize that weather was not good but the plane was rattling like it should have been taken out of commission long ago. We made an emergency reroute to some city in the north and were kept on the plane for 2 hours before the crew told us anything. When we finally made it back to Delhi, the Air India workers managed to be the most incompetent and unhelpful workers ever. They lied to us 6 times about why we were not issued new boarding passes and tried to pass the blame to everyone else. I thought the customers were going to riot because they angered so many people."

The inflight entertainment system was terribly to navigate 4. the sound on the entertainment system was not great. 5. In the bathrooms the toilet paper and seat covers were not regularly replaced. 6. I got breakfast at 8am and then beverages at 2.30pm and lunch at 3pm. This left me terribly hungry and exhausted."

Trash bags were lying open in flight’s food pantry. Never seen that with any other airline. Worst part, the seat comfort and quality of everything in the flightwas below average. Food table, seat covers, etc. None of it is a big deal individually but when all things are combined, the experience of flying air india is not great."
