Uncomfortable seat with no leg room to speak of whatsoever. The seat didn't incline for sleep and drifted slowly within in a couple of minutes o the upright position. The travelers were horrible as well. Many passengers were just not behaving well. Left toilet papers all over the floor. Toilet room was poorly maintained. No napkin towels to wipe our hands! Flimsy napkin (if you can call that!) for dinner. Generally, the worst flight experience that my wife and I have had! And, we fly a lot around the world!"

How is it possible to take off on an aircraft on a 14 hour journey with no water in the restroom. HOW?"

Pros: "The Dreamliner gave me comfort and I could relax during the flight. Seats gave adequate space, while legroom was ample. Food towards Chennai (breakfast) was stodgy - especially the omelet. Food towards Singapore was great. I had the vegetarian rice set which was hot and just enough for me. I watched 4 movies in total; the Tamil ones had subtitles. All were good. Check-in and boarding was smooth."

We had to stand in a crazy line to fill out a cliam form and then they took 5 days to return the luggage back to me. I have been trying to contact them via phone, email, chat etc. to claim for the expenses I had to incur while my bags were away and I am unable to get in touch with them. Will never fly with them again!"

Pros: "The price was good for a full-service airline on the highly competitive Incheon - Hong Kong route. Both flights to and from Hong Kong left and arrived roughly on-time. The food on board was tasty and the overall comfort of the flight (temperature / seats) was pretty good."
Cons: "There was nothing terrible about Air India by any means, but there were a few small nagging issues that I feel made the experience with them not as good as it could have been. First off, they were flying a relatively new (maybe 3 years old?) Boeing 787 that felt like it was not being well maintained. The fixtures inside are already looking tired and worn and overall a bit dingy. The seatback entertainment systems were missing buttons, some lacked touch functionality and some were totally unusable. The use of overhead reading lights was similarly hit and miss, some just simply didn't work. In addition, the crew was mediocre at best -- none of them seemed to be enjoying their jobs and there were very few smiles to go around. Their general attitude seemed to be to do the least possible work. Finally, on neither flight was I provided with an arrival or customs form for the destination. I have taken many, many international flights and have never had an airline crew not offer these cards prior to arrival. It's not a huge deal, but it does save time upon arrival not having to fill in the forms at the crowded desks. All in all, Air India was just alright. Certainly not a terrible experience but one that could have easily been made much better with just a few simple fixes."
