Pros: Great location. Comfortable sitting room.
Cons: Lighting was too dim to read by in Library. TV in room only worked on BBC1 and 2. Also it was poorly sited. Cons: The only possible comment was that it was sometimes too hot in the hotel, but I realise these buildings are not always easy to keep at a steady temperature.

Cons: No mix tap for hot and cold for the sink
7.0 Good
Pros: Very good staff, prompt service, nothing too much trouble.
Cons: Damp bedroom, fungus mushroom growing inside window, no central heating, badly fitted bath plug.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: accommodation and food
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The greetings from all the staff wherever we were in the hotel or at the pub. Nothing was too much trouble. The stsff gave us more coffee sachets and hypoallergenic pillows when we asked. We loved being able to enjoy breakfast with our puppy! It was very cosy and had a relaxing atmosphere without being too "stuffy" . The room location was perfect and beautifully decorated. We chose to eat at the pub and our fish and chips were delicious! A good range of wines and gins. Highly recommended.
Cons: The road was a little noisy. But I dare say that was because it was so hot we needed all the windows open.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and a good breakfast
Cons: Check out was at 11:00 am. Noon would have been better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: When we arrived the staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. They explained the environment and ask if we required assistance with our luggage etc. Our room was excellent with all of the home comforts. We were offered a turn down service, which we accepted and each night at the time of the turn down our room was fully serviced and tidied. We used both the bar restaurant and the main restaurant during our stay, both offered excellent service with wonderful food, a big thank you to all the staff for making our visit special.
Cons: While I am generally a very fussy person by nature, I really couldn’t find anything to fault the location, the hotel environment or the service.

Pros: Hosts were outstanding. Suite was generous. Breakfast amazing. Arrived as guests, left like family.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a shame that we can only give 5 stars because we want to give more! The welcome, the service, the general atmosphere is second to none. A beautiful little home from home with even more beautiful hosts, we couldn’t fault if we tried.
Cons: The only thing we disliked was that fact we couldn’t stay longer!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house. Excellent hosts. Personal touch. Great location. Nice breakfast. Nice change from a hotel.
Cons: Comes up on some searches (google) as a 5 star hotel. It's not a 5 star hotel it's a 5 star B&B.

Pros: Excellent breakfast included in cost of room
Cons: The stairs from the bar to the rooms were rather awkward to negotiate
6.0 Good
Pros: Excellent breakfast, and a very helpful young man who served us with our breakfast on Monday morning.
Cons: The young man at the bar/reception area when we arrived at 11:30am Sunday morning didn't welcome us, and we witnessed that he wasn't friendly towards other guests when they arrived either. We had driven for almost three hours through a storm (Storm Ciara) to get there, and he didn't say hello or even offer a smile to us. We felt like we had imposed upon his Sunday!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast and evening meals. Fine wine. Great customer service
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff, food and atmosphere were excellent, I can’t rate highly enough
Cons: Mattress was very firm leaving me with sore hips in the morning. Weather was pretty horrendous on the night we stayed and the windows in our room (room 4) let in the rain. Water pressure wasn’t great in the shower.

Pros: Lovely staff
Cons: Everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything! My cosy room, the location, the friendly staff, the fab breakfast, the welcoming feel, the powerful shower, I had the best night's sleep I have has in ages!
Cons: Couldn't fault anything - apart from maybe the fog, but no one can book the weather!
7.0 Good
Pros: Room very clean apart from some mould around the top of the window frame - it is an old building, however. Location lovely. Breakfast excellent. Staff excellent.

Pros: Cleanliness excellent, location the same and staff the same.
Cons: The bed unfortunately was not comfortable at all.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We received a very friendly welcome as soon as we arrived at Wild Garlic. After a long journey we were immediately shown to our lovely room in which everything was thought of, from sparkling to still water and from a hairdryer to coffee facilities. The evening food was exceptional and the continental breakfast (which was included) was really lovely too.
Cons: The only issue was that we weren't made fully aware that the stay only included a continental breakfast rather than the cooked items too. This wasn't a problem as the continental was plentiful and very tasty, but it would have been good to have been made aware of this before hand.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staying in the loft room i had a very comfortable night and stunning views of the hills in the morning. Breakfast was superb, continental was included in my rate and worth every extra penny for the poached eggs i had. Top notch and a great rate!

7.1 Good
Pros: The room was spacious, decorated nicely and the bed was so big and comfy. Plenty of hot water and loved the toiletries provided so didn’t need to bring any. All the staff except one were lovely and helpful and very accommodating. I loved the quirky layout of the hotel and there were lots of nooks and crannies with fireplaces and comfy chairs to sit and chill, have a drink or even play a board game. The food in the bar was lovely, a little pricy but good portion sizes and the food was delicious. Great location, short drive to lots of interesting towns, villages and historic sites. .
Cons: Food in the library restaurant, was hit and miss. Starter and mains were delicious and cooked perfectly but was let down by small portions, other half was moaning he was still hungry. Dessert was dreadful and was like a totally different chef had made it. They did offer to swap it out for something else but we declined. We had the misfortune to be above a room who kept leaving their dog unattended. We were woken in the mornings by its incessant barking and listened to it one evening bark for over an hour. Reception said dogs are allowed to be left unattended as it’s a dog friendly hotel but they would ask the owners to be more mindful. They did offer to move us on our last night but it was getting late so we just stayed put. We should have moved as we we listened to the poor dog bark and whine again for a whole hour the next morning. Unfortunately the situation with the barking would stop us from returning, it ruined what otherwise was a lovely weekend.
7.1 Good
Pros: Stonework
Cons: Lighting outside not great - walked into massive puddle in the dark.
9.0 Excellent

Cons: The Rain was awful
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The meal in the evening was superb, as was the breakfast i would certainly recommend this to anyone.already told you
9.6 Excellent
Pros: very comfortable, good food, clean, quite, relaxed atmosphere
Cons: Very minor, the WIFI in the room didn’t really work
4.0 Okay
Pros: Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. The location is wonderful
Cons: Food in the bar - very limited menu, terrible club sandwich which could not be eaten and was £10 (the egg mayo was a fried egg smeered with mayo, the brown bread was toasted cheap white bread, the bacon wasn't cooked well and a really think slab)! No apology forthcoming from bar staff or reception on leaving. Waited for an hour after placing our dinner order in the restaurant to be told (when prompted) that our order had been overlooked. We were placed in the annexe to the main building which is very dated and not what we were expecting. We have been 4 times previously and it's been excellent so even more disappointing but perhaps the food issues were a staffing matter which might be resolved
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and bar is excellent
Cons: Room and work space a little small

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room very spacious & clean, smooth check in.
Cons: We had to ask for robes as stated on website, was told they didn't put them out but provided very quickly when pressed. We had a 45 minute wait for breakfast & only received 1 egg instead of 2, however the food was delicious & the staff seemed very stretched serving a full hotel, they remained polite even with limited people.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent Christmas Night there as visiting friends The staff were very welcoming and breakfast next morning had a festive feel
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff and location
Cons: The hotel is a bit scruffy and the rooms definitely need a refurbishment. Public areas have a constant odour!!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location first class. Staff very attentive and friendly Good atmosphere to hotel Good value for money
Cons: Room good value for the rate but the shower area on the small side !!!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Staff were nice in the bar and when the evening meal arrived it was lovely..
Cons: Staff were really nice.. Maybe just a little slow. Our evening meal order went through the till apparently but didn't get to the kitchen!! Waited an age.. As we did for breakfast!! Unsure why because when it arrived half was cold. The hotel has a lot of character but needs updating desperately in the rooms.. Stairway leading to the rooms was beautiful apart from the great big piece of gaffer tape keeping the carpet together.. The bedroom.. Cracks everywhere all over the walls.. Needed a good paint.. The small sofa was ripped and the bed was two halves joined which sagged in the middle...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay at the Snooty Fox perfect location and very dog friendly . Would definitely stay again
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Really like the staff. Food was amazing. Very comfortable bed. Very nice and quiet. Easy to find. Great location. Beautiful view (not from my room)
Cons: I think if they had given me a room in the main house it would have been nicer. I think the rooms in the cottage out the back are not as nice. My room did not appear on their 'Profile', so I felt a bit robbed that they gave me a room that they weren't happy to post on their website.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very comfortable stay. Staff were friendly & helpful. Good food. Breakfast & evening meal very nice! Great location & facilities.
Cons: Could only really have a bath as hand held shower was quite weak. Would have preferred a power shower. Bath taps were dripping all the time too! Had problems with kettle. This was dealt with &. Replaced. thank you!

7.5 Good
Pros: Great location. Comfortable sitting room.
Cons: Lighting was too dim to read by in Library. TV in room only worked on BBC1 and 2. Also it was poorly sited. Full English breakfast always had either black pudding, mushrooms or hash browns missing over the three days we were there. Overdone bacon and underdone black pudding had to be returned.

Pros: Breakfast was terrific
Cons: Room a bit small

Pros: A proper fire but it should have been lit for breakfast
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very attractive hotel, very comfortable, welcoming and friendly staff, delicious food and drink - really good breakfast, tea and dinner. On-site parking great. Tetbury is a super town and this hotel is at its heart. This was our third stay and we'll return!
Cons: The only possible comment was that it was sometimes too hot in the hotel, but I realise these buildings are not always easy to keep at a steady temperature.
