Pros: This is a very elegant hotel with a wonderful layout. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and very clean, with spacious bathrooms and a very comfortable bed. The staff were incredible. They all displayed high quality customer service and were extremely helpful, from getting us taxis to helping us find local places to eat as well as suggestions of where to go to see things in Taipei. The breakfast was very well organized and had a mix of western and Chinese food. One of the Manager's Johnny was very kind and respectful and always made sure that we were happy. The whole stay was amazing and would very highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Taipei. For the service and amenities this hotel offered I believe this was an excellent deal in terms of cost. I will definitely return to this hotel in the future.

Pros: The staff lived up to its reputation as being both friendly and helpful. Also, we visited the Shangri-La while in Taipei and glad we stayed at the Landis. The other hotels had an industrial feel and totally impersonal. Will be returning.
Cons: The only complaint was that the beds were a bit hard, but not a deal breaker.

Pros: I always stay at the Landis when I visit Taipei. The service is excellent, the food is good and the staff friendly & competent. The rooms are spacious and clean and the location is great. It is very much like a boutique hotel, if that is what you enjoy.
Cons: The gym equipment is a bit outdated! Only complaint.

Pros: Staff was helpful and spoke English. The room was quiet and the hotel was in a very good location. Easy access to the metro lines and plenty of food and nearby parks. The included breakfast was very good.
Cons: The hot water in the shower did not work. We called down to the desk and inquired about it and they said let it run for 1-2 minutes. It had been running for 10 minutes when we called. Luckily the water in the bath was hot. The gym was shut down for renovation. The laundry service was ridiculously overpriced. Luckily there was a nearby laundromat where we could do laundry.

Pros: There's a bar near the hotel, and I couldn't sleep cuz the noise. After calling the reception, they showed me the new room and changed for me immediately!! :)
