Québec City hotels near Quartier Petit Champlain

Pros: The location was perfect - near a lot of shops, art galleries', restaurants, and cafes. It was in the heart of the city with the beautiful architecture and river with the cobble stone roads. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We brought our two Shih Zhu dogs and they hotel was very accommodating.

Cons: Nothing - it was excellent.

Pros: The hotel was beautiful, the location perfect and the staff went above and beyond and was extremely accommodating.

Pros: The hotel had a charming restaurant and contained a great deal of history.

Cons: The hotel is right in front of where the cruise ships dock which completely blocks your view of the river. Also the river front room was very noisy due to street traffic. The staff was nice but not helpful in solving our problem.

Pros: So many little attentions... heated floors in the bathroom, little card with next day weather and music on all set up for you before bedtime, goodies at checkout, super smooth and effective valet service, amazing brunch... they have it all!

Pros: Perfect location within walking distance to must see attractions, hotel staff professional and helpful, room absolutely beautiful, lots of surprises, quiet, bed oh so comfy, tv in english, lots of choices, nespresso maker, lots of coffee and tea choices.

Cons: Pillows were to high and way to squishy, felt like suffocation

Cons: honestly nothing comes to mind. Panache can be viewed as expensive, with a limited menu, but the atmosphere and friendly waiters suit the hotel nicely. Guests have many other choices close by.

Pros: We loved everything about the place - the discreet friendly efficiency of the staff, the great location, the stylish room...

Pros: We loved the location of the hotel in the historical part of the city. We were very happy the concierge was able to get us a table for dinner at the Panche Restaurant, they always seem to be fully booked.

Pros: It was a gorgeous hotel, very well located, excellent cozy bar with beautiful fireplaces. Romantic.

Cons: What I was very disappointed with was that the description of my booking provided by booking.com was not accurate:1. Booking.com said the luxury room which I spent extra for was 400 sq foot - room was barely 300 sq ft with a terrace outside. What the heck do I do with a terrace at -15 degree weather?? 2. The description said large bathroom with separate bathtub - not the case. It was a small bathroom and shower/bathtub were one. I noticed through the floorplan that the rooms on both sides of ours did have bigger bathrooms !! What's the point of providing that description to us if you do not deliver! 3. Booking.com said there was just provincial/federal taxes applied. A third tax was also applied to our bill. Very disappointing.

Pros: The cozy atmosphere but with design elements including objects excavated at the site in the old lower city. The staff is very responsive and found me pure green tea (true green tea lovers don't like flavored green teas, but few hotels know this). Nice restaurants nearby and also in the hotel. The lower town is less touristy than the upper town.

Pros: Charming, historic but clean and filled with modern amenities.

Pros: The staff was truly exceptional. They went out of their way to make sure our visit was the best it could be, from handling luggage, parking the car, to making dinner reservations. Everything was done Romo and with a smiles on their faces.

Pros: This was my fourth stay in the Auberge Ste-Pierre and exceeded my (already high) expectations. It's been renovated but with only the best, most discreet items like exquisite bathrooms, incredible bed linens, remarkably friendly and helpful staff who engaged us with useful directions for restaurants and the new public market. Walking around this part of town is always charming, no matter what the season, but it's also a perfect launching off location for a good long walk up up into the beautiful city. The hotel is completely a treat to return to after a hike or a long drive or...after a year away from it.

Pros: Lived everything about this hotel: proximity to restaurants, shopping, art, and more and the staff was not only incredibly nice but really helped us enjoy our stay more with day trip suggestions. Tania is the best front desk staffer we met!

Pros: The excellent hotel was an added attribute to our trip to wonderful Quebec City ... and the Canadians have no weapons and their boss's name is Justin Trudeau, so we love Canada!

Pros: The hotel is lovely and the staff very friendly. The location is great, we were going on a cruise and the location was perfect. We would definitely stay at Le Pierre again.

Pros: The location of Le St-Pierre is in the middle of the old city of Quebec, with many restaurants nearby. The room was large and airy.

Cons: While not a problem for me, this hotel is not suitable for people with mobilty problems as there are a lot of stairs, including the entrance to the hotel

Pros: The hotel was in a perfect place to walk to see old Quebec. The breakfast was excellent! We were within two blocks of the cruise terminal (where we were headed next) and the staff was willing to help us to walk our luggage there. The staff was also extremely helpful in helping us chose a restaurant for dinners and to help with reservations.

Cons: The bed was very soft.

Pros: Location was good and had good restaurants close by particularly the Cafe Monde. Staff were very helpful but not over fussy. Close to interesting sights.

Cons: The bath plug did not seal so the bath could not be used. Despite being reported this was not corrected which was most unfortunate since the whirlpool bath was a feature of the room.
