Québec City hotels near Parliament Hill

Cons: We stayed on the 7th floor, and it was still a bit loud (external noise from people on the street late at night, and also some internal noise from other guests in the hallway). Wi-fi was very spotty in our room.

Cons: Quality comes at a price.

Cons: Waits for elevators on occasion.

Cons: The restaurant has weird hours. I tried going there at 11am and it was already closed until later in the day. But they have good food in the bar.

Cons: In this day and age, you'd think wifi would be included. After the first day, I went to the Starbucks (accessable from inside the building) to get my email and electronic newspaper.

Cons: A jackhammer woke us up at 8:00 am. They were renovating in our wing. Room was a loooong way from elevator. But no traffic. From Kayak the breakfast included as advertised on the website WAS NOT included upon check in at the hotel. This was false advertising. Luckily for Kayak, we got the hotel to comp the parking AND the breakfasts. This was well worth the disturbance.

Cons: No concierge available much of the time. Elevator not always operating.

Cons: First impressions: a disaster! Tried to give us a double bed for our king reservation. Two of the three elevators were down. Took an hour for bags to make up to room. No towels in room when we arrived. The white wine had been used & filled with water!

Cons: Initially, we were offered an upgrade to one of the remodeled rooms, but we thought the window was very small and the room felt rather claustrophobic. So, we asked to be put back in the traditional decor, unrenovated rooms and found it to be much larger and comfortable with a double window and a great view. Of course, these two rooms (out of the 600 in the hotel) likely were not representative of all the remodeled/traditional room layouts. Just my experience.

Cons: Parking is pricy. We got complimentary water the first day and then no more afterwards. Water is $8 a bottle in the room! Lobby could use some updating.

Cons: Clogged bathtub Dirty shelf in the closet

Cons: GREAT hotel in a great location!!!

Cons: Not all rooms have a view. Some areas require stairs as well as elevators. (My wife uses a walker).

Cons: it's an old building, so bathtub may not be in brand new condition cocktails not very balanced

Cons: high price of internet access. food was also very expensive.

Cons: Phones in the room didn't work, dental kit took too long to get delivered,

Cons: Room was extremely clean but very dated bedroom and the walk in closet was a waste of space.

Cons: We were first provided a non renovated room that was not clean, requires a lot of maintenance. Our AC didn't work, ceiling and the mirror lights didn't work. On the 2nd day we informed the desk while heading out in the morning. The issues were not rectified upon our return. We called again prior to leaving for dinner. Upon our return, we noticed the lights were fixed but the AC didn't work all night. Neither was any follow through from the hotel regarding the issues. No follow up call to the room to check on us. Not a luxury service. On the 3rd morning I called and asked for the manager and the AFOM said she would upgrade to renovated room and waive the $40 upcharge as if it was a favor. We had not slept the night before and gladly accepted the offer.

Cons: I know it's a minor thing but the gym is pretty sparse. We managed to get some workout in but limited due to equipment. They do have multiple treadmills.

Cons: Only that I didn't plan on a longer stay.

Cons: Paying $23 per day for parking, though I understand it, remains disappointing.

Cons: No coffee service in the morning, and the 3rd floor navigation to our room was confusing at first. Very choppy but I understand they brought together several old buildings.

Cons: They were not very helpful wit directing to parking other than valet parking even though there is a lot right across the street.

Cons: Exercise equipment in isrepair.

Cons: The shower head didn't move so our bathroom would get soaked every morning because it was a glass shower and there was nothing stopping the water from exiting the area.

Cons: The bed was a mattress on a piece of plywood... Very stiff

Cons: The desk staff gave us some pretty questionable advice on what to do our first night in town...my idea of fun isn't taking a 30$ taxi ride to the suburbs to watch a parade for children, that no one else even attended. (for the record I am 28 and was visiting town with my 55 year old parents). They also neglected to open the extra cot for which we paid 30$, I hurt my hand in the process and we nearly couldn't get in the door because it was in the way.

Cons: Hallways were very dark and hot! Bathroom gray colour is too dark.Room cleaning was mediocre, they did not provide additional toilet paper!

Cons: Didn't like that the pool and sauna were only open after 4pm most days

Cons: 2 major issues. The rooms don't have enough power outlets. Unless you're willing to remove the wood panel behind your bed to find the hidden extension cord. And they charged me $100 for a deposit and it's been two weeks and they still have not refunded me. Really odd for a hotel to do this but I left a message with the person who deals with this and no call back either.

Cons: kayak didn'T reserve right.. we asked for two beds since we where 3 people. We got one king size so the other personne had to sleep on a tiny bed. Hotel couldn't do anything and we could clearly see it was a mistake of communication between the booking "site" and hotel.

Cons: no hot tub! Pool felt a little chilly for the 0 degree temps outdoors. Parking $$ not included.

Cons: Internet, while free and usable, was a bit slow

Cons: wrong room on arrival. Poorly designed new room.
