Niagara Falls hotels near Journey Behind The Falls

Cons: Drinking glass had lipstick on it. Obviously had not been cleaned or replaced after last guest.

Cons: view of the falls was somewhat obstructed, we mainly saw the mist and top of the falls, but couldn't see the horshoe falls at all. We had requested fall view room.

Cons: Not full Falls view. Room was stuffy

Cons: Mattress was too hard, pillows were too soft--no support.

Cons: There was a faint smell of cigarettes in our room. The bed's dressing consisted of an uncovered duvet sandwiched between two flat sheets. I've never seen such a thing before. Our room was on the 7th floor with a balcony, which is accessible from a number of rooms. As a result, we got to listen to one woman's phone call as she paced the entire length of the balcony. The breakfast brunch is absolutely not worth the expense. Staff refused to remove the DMDF and DMDF HST charges from our bill, stating the chargers are "mandatory". The lack of transparency with these charges is super sketchy so double-check your reservation/agreement in advance.

Cons: Housekeeping did not replenish toiletries,coffee as expected.On site Starbucks do not accept Starbucks cards.Bath towels could use an upgrade

Cons: There is an additional parking fee per night if you drive.

Cons: The price was a little high, but all of Niagara Falls is a little pricey!!

Cons: Be prepared to spend money. Food and entertainment is very expensive. This has nothing to do with the hotel. It is just reality in this area. Once i got over how $$$ everything is I relaxed, went with it and had a really enjoyable time.

Cons: The bath towels were rough and thin and didn't do much absorbing. Also, the basic room is only available as two queen size beds. To get a king size bed you have to upgrade to a jacuzzi suite. Not a deal breaker but also not very "couple friendly."

Cons: The rooms were a disappointment. The rooms had a strong odor of chlorine because we were on a low floor above the pool. I am extremely sensitive to smells and it really bothered me but when I addressed this issue with reception he looked at me like I was crazy I was told for the price I paid this is the only rooms available but he could send someone to the room to check it out. I would not recommend this hotel

Cons: For the price I shouldn't have had to pay for parking ($13) to only be told immediately after not responsible for my vehicle AND the SECURE lot next door was cheaper. Although the view of the falls was decent from our room the strong stench of cigarettes filled the room and the Jacuzzi tub didn't work. We didn't complain but we feel that because we arrived (12:00) early for a 3:30 checkin they could've done better. We wouldn't stay here twice...sorry.

Cons: The hotel had several doors which said they could only be opened with a room key during the day and were locked between 12 am and 6 pm. This was not the case. I did not feel that the hotel was very secure, and being so close to a number of tourist attractions, this was worrisome. Although there may have been some confusion on our part, the hotel does NOT have an outdoor pool. Finally, although the lobby and main section of the hotel and newly remodeled, the section of the hotel we were in was in the back building, an older section that has not been remodeled. I do not know if this is due to the fact that we booked by a third party site, as the woman at reception pointed out at check in, or if this was just due to the amount of bookings. The newer section of the hotel was substantially updated compared to our area. We had a very old toilet, that actually need housekeeping attention during our stay, an extremely old shower head that did not really get all the shampoo out, and a faulty breaker that tripper while we were getting ready to go out.

Cons: Although i would recomend the hotel, our fridge was barely cold enough to mildly chill a bottle of wine, and the settings knob not surprisingly missing. The other fault was air conditioning unit unable to keep up with the 85+ weather outside. It was a tad warm on our stay

Cons: using a key card to run the heat and ac is a little cheep, and the service in the restaurant was horrible, although not as bad as the food in the resturant

Cons: Many of the close by foods are big chain places. I suggest going at least a mile away from the hotel for really good food, such as the Weinkeller.

Cons: The whole area around the falls is very resort style. Restaurants near the falls are grossly over priced and there is very little information available if you want to try some of the local bars and restaurants.

Cons: The bathroom was toward the front door so the one person in the bedroom has to walk thru the living room/other person's bedroom to use it. Usually we find suites that have the bathroom in the middle and it separates the two rooms so,there is no disturbance when using the bathroom

Cons: The only downsides to this hotel is that parking is $20 a day and the sleep number beds aren't the greatest. Its not that the beds are uncomfortable, its just that compared to some luxury hotel beds they're definitely lacking.

Cons: Parking was all screwed up. There was heavy traffic due to Valentine's Day but I got kicked out of the line twice because they were over capacity. That's really my only complaint and this was a minor issue.

Cons: Slow, small elevators that were often already full. The price for self parking seemed a bit high, considering the price of the room.

Cons: The only thing I didn't like is the room could use some new funiture. I loved the decor of the room but there was some things that needed too be replaced.

Cons: 2 clowns at reception- 1 was checking in somebody else other was engrossed in his computer screen-we stood in front of him for 10 minutes without him saying a word while he stared at his screen and occasionally spoke with the other reception fool finally the other guy got checked in, and the clown who checked him in then checked us in parking is $45-they take your car somewhere else (valet BS) IHOP restaurant upstairs has great view-$20 for a burger $25 for french toast etc- absurd prices only top 5 floors out of 30 have rooms-rest is just an empty tower
