Pros: We had two 5 year olds on our trip. We bought the paw pass for each of them and they loved it. There are so many benefits to it. Our stay was for one night and it was hard to get all the activities in in that time. The water slides, wave pool and lazy river were a lot of fun. The MagiQuest game was awesome! There is a lot of walking to it, so wear good shoes. The kids really liked the nightly dance party. The pizza place had really good pizza.
Cons: We had to rent a locker for our things at the water park because there were never any available chairs or tables. This worked out for the day we checked out but still wanted to swim. The lazy river had no order to it. There were a ton of empty tubes they ran us down at one point and instead of lazy, it was stressful. On the other side, when loading into the tubes, you wait off to the side at the stairs and wait for someone to unload or an empty tube to come around. Someone working at the park should be managing the loading and unloading of the tubes. The floor plan on the first floor by the water park needs work. It’s always congested.

Pros: The kids will love it here. Between the water park, the talking animals in the lobby, easy-for-kids food and the overall experience, the kids become fully absorbed in this little world. Food quality at the restaurants, especially the buffet dinner is fantastic.
Cons: Limiting coffee and tea in the morning to only one cup is cheap. They should include refills. I was happy to find out that they serve Canadian coffee roasters Kicking Horse Coffee. But only at a coffee shop. This makes it complicated for customers. Just serve the same stuff everywhere, and include refills at breakfast.

Pros: I didn't expect a Waterpark to keep my kids occupied long but there was so much to do. While the resort is expensive, the money we saved by avoiding alternative entertainment more than offset the room cost.
Cons: The resort is a bit far from the main strip in Niagara Falls. If you do plan on going to the strip, you'll have to drive (and pay for parking)

Pros: I loved everything about this place!! I like to travel alone and enjoy my privacy and space. I appreciated that Staff wasn't in my face, yet were very attentive, professional and friendly when approached with any requests. The room was very clean, beautifully made-up. It was fresh, comfortable and quiet. I was offered an upgrade without asking for it, which was an awesome bonus and I enjoyed every moment of it. Their fitness facility was a great adjunct as well. It was clean, neat and perfectly functional. Very accessible to everything. I'd return there in a heartbeat!!

Pros: I LOVED the AMAZING view from the 12th floor of the Niagara Falls and the Ferries Wheel. Definitely family friendly with a 15 minute walk to arcades, restaurants, 4-D kids movies, bowling, laser tag, etc. My hubby and I will DEFINITELY return again in the Summer. The staff was AWESOME. BEST TRIP EVER!!

Pros: The hotel is walking distance to anything you'd want to see in Niagara. You can get free cookies from the concierge at check-in/check-out.
Cons: There was a faint smell of cigarettes in our room. The bed's dressing consisted of an uncovered duvet sandwiched between two flat sheets. I've never seen such a thing before. Our room was on the 7th floor with a balcony, which is accessible from a number of rooms. As a result, we got to listen to one woman's phone call as she paced the entire length of the balcony. The breakfast brunch is absolutely not worth the expense. Staff refused to remove the DMDF and DMDF HST charges from our bill, stating the chargers are "mandatory". The lack of transparency with these charges is super sketchy so double-check your reservation/agreement in advance.

Pros: The hotel is super close to the falls and Clifton Hill area of Niagara, but not in the middle of the action so it's nice and quiet. We didn't have a view room, but we could still see part of the falls. There really isn't a bad room in the place. The pool is salt water and had an adult's only part for swimming laps which was appreciated.

Pros: The lobby was beautiful! Warm and inviting. The front desk staff are friendly .Our room was lovely. The beds are amazingly comfortable!! Big and fluffy, like a sleeping on a cloud. The rooms are clean, the towels were fluffy and big.. The coffee in maker in the room was perfect. I would have preferred more creamers.but still perfect. The hotel is centrally located between the falls and Clinton Hill. About a 15-20 min walk to each, We certainly got our exercise !!! The Aveda Spa is wonderful. We each had a 55 min massage with a scalp treatment that felt and smelled amazing!! The indoor pool and sauna was the icing on the cake!! Would absolutely stay here again!!! Napoli Italian restaurant located one block away is delicious!! Would certainly go for a delicious relaxing meal!! The Ossa buco gnocci is to die for!! Dont miss the illuminated falls. Spectacular!!

Pros: The hotel lobby was beautiful and clean. It also had a full Starbucks beside the gift shop if you dislike the in-room coffee pot coffee. The room was very clean and the linens looked fresh and new. Overall, I would be happy to stay here again in the future.
Cons: The bath towels were rough and thin and didn't do much absorbing. Also, the basic room is only available as two queen size beds. To get a king size bed you have to upgrade to a jacuzzi suite. Not a deal breaker but also not very "couple friendly."

Pros: Arrived a little early but reception said rooms were not ready but would be ready at 3:30. She was curt and spent more time telling us what she could not do for us than actually helping. We pre checked in and We left for sightseeing and got back to the hotel at 3:25. Our rooms still not ready he told us to wait a few minutes in lobby. We waited 20 minutes in lobby until we told we can go up to our rooms.
Cons: The rooms were a disappointment. The rooms had a strong odor of chlorine because we were on a low floor above the pool. I am extremely sensitive to smells and it really bothered me but when I addressed this issue with reception he looked at me like I was crazy I was told for the price I paid this is the only rooms available but he could send someone to the room to check it out. I would not recommend this hotel

Cons: For the price I shouldn't have had to pay for parking ($13) to only be told immediately after not responsible for my vehicle AND the SECURE lot next door was cheaper. Although the view of the falls was decent from our room the strong stench of cigarettes filled the room and the Jacuzzi tub didn't work. We didn't complain but we feel that because we arrived (12:00) early for a 3:30 checkin they could've done better. We wouldn't stay here twice...sorry.

Pros: The location is perfect! The hotel is one block from the top of Clifton Hill, with bars and restaurants lining the streets. The falls are about a 10 minute walk and there are various bus routes within a 5 minute walk. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing a map and recommendations as to where to eat. It is a clean, comfy, inexpensive option.
Cons: The hotel had several doors which said they could only be opened with a room key during the day and were locked between 12 am and 6 pm. This was not the case. I did not feel that the hotel was very secure, and being so close to a number of tourist attractions, this was worrisome. Although there may have been some confusion on our part, the hotel does NOT have an outdoor pool. Finally, although the lobby and main section of the hotel and newly remodeled, the section of the hotel we were in was in the back building, an older section that has not been remodeled. I do not know if this is due to the fact that we booked by a third party site, as the woman at reception pointed out at check in, or if this was just due to the amount of bookings. The newer section of the hotel was substantially updated compared to our area. We had a very old toilet, that actually need housekeeping attention during our stay, an extremely old shower head that did not really get all the shampoo out, and a faulty breaker that tripper while we were getting ready to go out.

There was a fireplace in the room! Hadn't seen that in a hotel before. Even if it's just for looks, it's a great romantic touch. All staff was extremely friendly. From the valet to the front desk. They even exchanged our currency for us at the current exchange rate. Comfy beds. Quiet hotel

Pros: We stayed on the 22nd floor rm 2225 and the view was incredible! Smack in the middle of the falls. Bed was very comfortable and the staff were very nice! My only complaints were that I found hairs in the tub and the parking was extremely expensive $35 a night isn't in my budget so we parked the casino. Coffee in the room was horrible and also WiFi wasn't free in the rooms either. Overall worth to pay the upgrade for a falls view. And in my opinion the only way to go it truly was a million dollar view!

The hotel is in a great location - kind of at the end so as to not be excessively busy and loud - and within walking distance to many great locales. I would suggest buying the bus/tour package for local attractions - great value!

Pros: I stayed here for a week with my partner to visit family in the area and explore the falls. The Room was clean and comfortable. Beds were cozy with duvet blankets and big pillows. The room was a spacious and relaxing atmosphere. Customer service was on point and staff was really friendly and accommodating. We will stay here again when visiting this area if we can find a decent deal again on rooms like we did this time.

After paying high prices for a room it seems unreasonable to have to pay $30 per night for parking. We booked our room through a booking company so our rate was a bit cheaper, but be prepared to have quite a bit of coin for parking. Restaurants and coffee shops in and around the hotel have huge price jumps. We found it better to travel away from the tourist areas for drinks and eats. There are plenty of amazing options that aren't far.

Yhe noise from the elevators was so loud it was like trying to sleep on the runway of the local airport. The decibel level was into the mid 90's at times. Stabbing buttons, no response, stabbing buttons in frustration. So minor, such an easy fix, but such an annoyance. The hotel is surrounded by absolutely awful food options. Expensive and abysmal quality. There are good food options in Niagara Falls: use Yelp to find them and go to them. It will be worth the walk/bus to get away from the horrific food choices near the hotel. And the room had a weird smell. I think someone before us spilled something on the carpet. We stayed only two nights, so we just powered through. Housekeeping should have caught this, though.

The front desk gave us a room apparently with a toilet that was a little rocky and by the time we got up to our room the maid had already had staff fixing it. The room was small but very clean. It was also within walking distance of the falls and most of the other sites in Niagara Falls. Very reasonably priced.
Cons: The hotel stay comes with free breakfast which is very nice. It's served from 6-9am, but if you don't get there by 7:30 or so, the room breakfast is served in is too full and there is a line out the door. Other than that, nothing to complain about.

Which is the same as their cheaper parking option. The restaurant staff are rude and lack basic common sense. During breakfast our party went and waited in line for a table. I was stuck waiting for another elevator, by the time I made it down my group was seated. The hostess wouldn’t let me join my group and forced me to wait in the long like even after telling her that we already have a table and I’m just joining them. Then later one of our party went to the washroom and (it’s outside the restaurant door) and they wouldn’t let him back in without a fight and tried to make him wait again. They’re power hungry and lack any common sense when it comes to how a restaurant works.

Pros: The suite was a excellent choice for us as it gave our party of four room to spread out. The room was clean. The breakfast was good, but go down before 9 AM to avoid the crowd. The location is great as the entrance to the Falls' Visitor Center is right below the hotel. We are planning a trip back in the Fall and plan to stay here again. It is a little pricey, but I feel you are paying for the view plus location which is worth it.

Please note that the parking isn't free here and is valet parking only if you want to park at the hotel. It was $35 dollars a day if you wanted them to park at the hotel or $25 a day if you wanted to park at an offsite location and take the shuttle. Had a complimentary breakfast which was good too.

Scam artists! My original receipt showed $277 and final receipt at check out showed $647 The only things I added are parking $35/night , $50/upgrade to junior suite and that's it ! Pros: The reason we picked Niagara Falls for a vacation was to see and experience the views. Our "both falls view" was the best imaginable. The view from the on site Steak House The Keg Restaurant were amazing too. They use the same area for the Open Breakfast meal. The hotel is in a great location and easy to get to everything you want when visiting the area.

Pros: Whenever I stay at hotels I look at reviews and I jump back and forth between hotels and most times can't make up my mind. My money was well spent with Embassy suites! We upgraded our room and the view was amazing! The room was very clean and big! The staff was always very friendly and ready to help with anything needed!
Cons: When checking in they offer two options for parking. We went with the cheaper option, when checking out instead of having you car brought to the front of the hotel. A shuttle take you to a nearby parking lot where your car is. I found out this was better and faster since the shuttle comes back every few mins and the people who had paid more money for valet were having to wait like 30 minutes and more for their cars because everyone was checking out at the same time! So go with the cheaper option!

Be prepared to wake up to screaming children running around the courtyard in the morning before they go to the Waterpark we didn't mind it, it was kind of funny! Didn't bother us at all but if you're looking for a quiet sleep in hotel don't go here. If you have a family definitely go here. Nice courtyards to host your birthday outside of your room or to chill in

Cons: Everything was extra money. We got there and we had a prebooked room but my dauggter brought a friend so now instead a 5 ppl we were 5 And a baby so they made us upgrade. That was an extra $80 per niģht even though the room was $ 75 per night. The 2 cars were $44 a night. The whole adventure ended up costing us $450 for two nights. The room's thermostat was not the greatest so we froze. We usually stay at the Victoria inn and we will deffinetly stick with it in the future. Parking is included and they are always happy to give you a crib instead of making you upgrade your room.

Cons: I am reluctant to ever again stay at an IHG property. I really took offense at what I felt were dishonest pricing tactics. When you are on the website and select a room, you are quoted a price. In my case, it was around $90. But as you progress through the booking process, you soon discover there is in fact no room available for any such rate as the $90. To that is added taxes, which I concede is out of the hotel's hands, but also a very bogus "resort fee." Here is the hotel's description: Service charge includes Resort Fee and Local Fee & Taxes. Resort Fee includes Wi Fi access with endless devices, unlimited long distance calls from your room to anywhere in USA and Canada, unlimited local calls, 2 bottles of water per day, printing of boarding passes, 2 Wego tickets (this state-of-the-art bus system connects accommodations and tourism attractions throughout the city at Niagara Falls and Niagara Parks-24 hours retail value $14), a e-Family portrait at Hershey Chocolate World, and sampling for 2 at Niagara Brewing Company. For my three-day stay I was charged $54 in "resort fees." This was outrageous because I neither used nor wanted any of the services except wi-fi, which I was told was free anyway, and one bottle of water. Yes -- a $54 bottle of water. Advertising on the webpage a $90 room when none exists is offensive and should be illegal. Crowne Plaza charged me about $106 a night for my $90 room. Thanks to Crowne Plaza I am a wiser traveler now, and will decline to patronize hotels that are not honest about their room rates.

A room with 2 queens should accommodate the people and luggage associated, and it was very tight -The staff try to upsell everything. If your hotel includes breakfast for 2, the try to upsell you on the delux package. It's not service for service sake or to be a great hotel, but just another way to extract more money from you. -Dinner and breakfast was expensive and includes a "tourist tax" -We stayed in 6 hotels as we toured through Canada and although the view of the falls as great, it was our least favorite hotel of our trip.

I think that hotels.com and the Crown Plaza need to be in better sync with what is charged originally and what will be charged at the hotel. Small issue there but was resolved quickly. Just to be sure the guests have NO surprises on the final bill.

Pros: Once we got to the right room, it was awesome. We had been biking through the wineries all day on a hot-hot day so were super glad to have the jacuzzi. Not going to lie, I jumped straight in when we got there, and then had another in the morning before we had to go for breakfast it was so glorious to have a jet tub six feet from the foot of our bed! The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spacious and there had been recent updates and improvements. The AC did its job very well. The TV's a little weird to figure out, but once you do you'll be fine.

There were a few little things (in-room coffeemaker didnt work, towels were scratchy hotel towels) but my two big flags are as follows: Upon our initial check-in, we were assigned the wrong room (one without a jacuzzi!!!). I called front desk and they mercifully had the right room available, but the other couple we were travelling with had the same thing happen... Check your reservation. When we got in, it was too early for dinner so I called to inquire about a snack and a glass of wine (there was nothing in the minibar) from room service. The front desk clerk said she'd have to call me back, and then never did... BYO in-room snacks.

Pros: We had a King bed with jacuzzi room. The room was large and clean and better than expected. Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Location was great!
Cons: When we checked in, our reservation said King room with hot tub, but they put us in a small king room with only a stand up shower. They switched us to the appropriate room after going back down to reception, but it would have been nice to skip the hassle. The jacuzzi jets weren't very strong. The shower is in need up updating.

Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful, even printed directions for our day trip to Toronto. We were on the 7th floor so we had a good view with a balcony, but no view of the Falls. Within a mile walking distance to almost all major attractions which was great, if you plan on walking. This isn't a fancy hotel, but it was clean and the staff was friendly, if you don't mind walking or paying for parking then you'll be fine. We also got the WeGo buss pass and it drops off right outside the hotel.
Cons: $14 a day plus tax for parking was a little crazy for being a mile away from everything. The arcade room wasn't very big and their was no hot tub. Their was a jetted bath tub in the middle of the room, no curtain or anything, being with a group of friends we couldn't really use it. Tiny coffee pot and no refrigerator but apprantly you could rent one. the elevator is a little sketchy, needs updated, but it didn't stop us from using it.

Pros: The Hotel and room facilities are comfortable and quiet near of Niagara falls by walk
Cons: Kind of tricky extra fees and you need to pay 15 cads for the parking (that's ok), but I feel no so friendly but correct the staff, and they change my reservation by Kayak to an Hotel reservation that add some dollars to my bill for that reason I feel like little tricky the Hotel politic or staff.

Pros: Everything about the hotel we enjoyed. The staff is great, and the hotel is nice.
Cons: It could use some fresheners in the rooms an the bathrooms could use some bleach or lysol.

Pros: The hotel was nice. When the staff had problems finding my reservation they fixed it right away. Rooms were clean and orderly.
Cons: IHOP was super expensive, and the wait staff were unprofessional and rude. I did not enjoy paying 26.00 a night for parking, as we could have parked next door for 10.00.
