4.0 Okay
Pros: ease of location
Cons: after booking a room for 4 nights only to find it had been re let after 2 so they had to find another one which they did after a while.
6.0 Good
Pros: Buffalo grill across the road
Cons: Restaurant was not open for use, rooms a bit tired and smelling of cigarettes. Having stayed at the Nantes campanile it was under parr in comparison
4.0 Okay
Pros: Nothing really
Cons: Main problem was that there was some kind of major renovation taking place which disrupted everything. The renovation was certainly well overdue but it would have been a good idea to close the place whilst it was done. Also, the restaurant had a problem as the chef failed to turn up. As a consequence we only stayed one night although we had paid for two.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Easy to find and close to shops and the road out of Bergerac.
Cons: Asked for a ground floor room when booking. None available when we arrived. The bed was so hard I had no sleep and could not face spending the second night there. I stayed in a hotel in Sarlat on the second night returning to check out the following morning. The receptionist deducted the charge for our dog from the bill. This hotel takes basic to a new all time low level. Grim and unwelcoming. Badly needs updating and beds replacing.

Pros: Clean and warm hotel. We appreciated a lot the fact that the bathroom was equipped with a bidet. There are free on street parking places.
Cons: The room and the bathroom were relatively small and the view from the window was deceiving. The breakfast was not included in the room price and it was relatively expensive.

Pros: Location was good especially for airport. Good standard hotel in quiet area and clean rooms . Restaurant right next door and a small pool outside. Plenty of parking and able to walk to Bergerac in 20 mins
5.0 Okay
Cons: The bed collapsed at 04:00am but it was easier to fix it than report it! The location is about as much on the edge of Bergerac as one could be. Overall the place felt ‘tired’.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and friendly staff
Cons: A little further from the centre of town than I expected but helpfully close to the airport.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Handy for the airport.
Cons: No tea or coffee facilities in the room.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Booked at last minute as we had been let down by another hotel. The reception staff were delightful and they managed to produce a meal for us on a night they do not normally serve food. Couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. The hotel does not pretend to be luxurious but I feel it represents excellent value for money and was comfortable, clean and warm on a very wet night! Numerous board games available to play in the hotel reception area. It was great to see local children and adults coming in out of the wet with the sole intention of playing a board game. It was only a five minute drive to the airport in the morning.
Cons: Nothing strikes me.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were lovely. The parking was free. We didn't use the pool because we arrived late after a long day of sightseeing. It was convenient for Bergerac and was good value for money. It was nice to have a bar on site, we planned our next day's travels over a glass of wine!

Pros: The food in the hotel restaurant was fantastic
Cons: If there was a bar area to sit and have drinks

Pros: Fantastic restaurant at the hotel. Great food and service.
Cons: The room is a little small.
5.4 Okay
Pros: - The restaurant is pretty good and de staff is friendly. The food is decent. - The bathroom was good quality and was clean!
Cons: - The staff was not very helpful/understanding. - I missed a public area like a bar or a living room to spent some time in the evening. If you visit after summer and you don't go out or if you come back earlier, you are forced to stay in your room which is quite dark, dated and not as cosy as we hoped for. - I think the hygiene can be done better. We found two spiders in the bed when we checked in

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hosts welcomed us to their beautiful fascinating historic house. Delicious breakfast each morning with local produce. And the attention if you wish of their delightful little dogs,
Cons: Had no problems at all.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location was very good as was the breakfast. Very characterful.
Cons: The room on the second floor, whilst very nice, had cross beams to manoeuvre and the ensuite does not have a door, only a curtain.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: B&B in an ancient building, wonderfully-located in the historic center of Bergerac. Bergerac is a lovely medieval town, easy to walk around. The house is full of wood beams, creaky floors and tons of charm. The staircase to the rooms and the room we had in the attic (which I found charming) is unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. Simple continental breakfast (croissants, bread and jams, yogurt) was ok. Get a reservation for dinner at Le Quatre Vins before arriving. It’s a small place a short walk from the B&B with very good, reasonably-priced meals.
Cons: Be aware you have to pay for parking and that the place is difficult to drive to because of on-way or pedestrian streets the GPS will try to route you through. But you’ll find it you persist.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts were fabulous, property was amazing and quirky. Option of secure parking was really helpful.
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and outstanding rooms/facilites provided and excellent and very plesant stay.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The chateau was exactly what you would want a French chateau to be...perfectly charming and decorated in a way that allows you to feel like you are a most welcome guest.
Cons: We have nothing to say that would reflect anything negative...we wish we had booked a longer stay. The host, hostess and staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.
7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly hosts gave us a tour of the winery.
Cons: The remote location was a problem in accessing WiFi and cell service, neither of which was available in our room. There wasn't a telephone in our room. We did not know that being a B&B and not a hotel, that the owners would not be staying on the property overnight. This was a concern.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place on the outskirts of Bergerac. Super quiet surrounded by trees making it completely dark at night, this is a great plate to isolate yourself in the full comfort of a rustic traditional French chateau. The owners are very friendly and speak English.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Chateau was very tastefully furnished with beautiful furniture, the breakfast was excellent and the owners were very helpful regarding places of interest and on the history of the Chateau and it’s surrounding vineyards
Cons: There was nothing not to like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Hostess very friendly & went out of her way to find us somewhere local to eat. Gave us a private tour of the now defunct wine distillery.
Cons: When booking, I had asked for twin beds but was shown to a room with a double bed. Had to ask again for twin beds which the hostess was able to provide but only by taking apart a large double (ie 2 twins pushed together with common bottom sheet and duvet). She was quite gracious about it.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Farmhouse accommodation on a working vineyard. Friendly hosts, speaking good English. Great breakfast.
7.9 Good
Pros: Authentic old property in large grounds and surrounding vineyards
Cons: Lack of adequate Wi Fi
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful old fashioned chateau and very clean and tidy. We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting and the generous breakfast with some lovely homemade fig jam. If we are ever in the area again we will return highly recommended. Jim and Lizzie Harrison
Cons: Nothing
7.7 Good
Pros: The whole place is very peaceful and civilised. The room was comfortable with a lovely view of the meadow and woods in front of the Chateau. The breakfast was delicious and served in a nicely equipped kitchen with a view of the courtyard.
