10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has been renovated recently and the design is very beautiful. In fact you can say that the inside is more beautiful than outside. However the outside reminded me of the hotel I worked in 25 years ago, so I loved it even more. The reception staff are very welcoming and besides being very informative about the area spoke perfect English. The room was exceptional clean, very modern and well equipped and best of all a very comfortable bed with crisp clean white sheets.. To top all this up .. I had a magnificent sea view window from my room and could also see my car in the hotel parking.
Cons: Before I arrived at this hotel I asked for a kettle and the hotel replied politely that this was not available. I believe that a kettle and some tea or coffee in the room helps appreciate this 4 star hotel to the maximum.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous is not a proper word, for real, you have to go there to understand how breathtaking is this wonderful hotel!
Cons: Absolutely nothing! Everything perfect, lovely and excellent!
4.0 Okay
Pros: The food here was really delicious. Dinner was amazing, breakfast was nice (especially if you like a lot of pastry / chocolate / treats). Staff are really kind and go out of their way to help. My room had an amazing Jacuzzi shower, and overlooked the pool. And in the distance, I could watch the sun rise over the sea. The fact that the sea was so far away however, was the most disappointing part of the stay.
Cons: I hold my hands up on this one. I really should have checked past the nice photos of the hotel. I was sold by the image of the pool. I wish I had checked. For all its loveliness, the President Park is unfortunately inconventiently placed. It is far from the sea (a cab / car ride) and far from the two little villages (a hotel shuttle to either). If I had been driving, this may have changed things. But there was nothing within walking distance, nothing nearby apart from a couple of run-down looking shops and a cafe. I felt very very isolated in this hotel, and only stayed one of two nights before transferring to a hotel in nearby Catania for my final night. "What could be changed?" I don't think anything, this is a very nice hotel, run by very professional people to a high standard of care and attention. It is just in an unfortunate place. And the pool is circular, which means if you're looking to do lengths, you may get dizzy...
6.3 Good
Pros: Rooms are nice and clean inside
Cons: Swimming pool is poor, breakfast average, neighborhood is ok but there is nothing to do without the car. 1 day max

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is Old School Luxury Italy. The rooms are brand new and great but the Lobby, Breakfast Room, and Pool can use a little modernizing.... Overall great and would 100% stay there again.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Good Location. Nice beach. Good breakfast. Clean Hotel.
Cons: Hotel is very aged. All furniture and bathrooms are very old. Parking is very dangerous to park as the lanes are very tight.
4.0 Okay
Pros: In the end the view was pretty nice.
Cons: Mold on the bathroom walls, unbreathable air because of this. The forks and knives where old and worn out plus the breakfast was total rubbish. This hotel was clearly not worth the price.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location. The helpful staff.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, nice location on the coast
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Big rooms, clean, parking and dedicated staff.
Cons: Restaurant prices are expensive.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was out of town, about 25 minutes away. We thought it would be closer but we wanted to be by the water. The view and property were wonderful. As it turned out, it was fine. The views were amazing.
Cons: I had to ask then to clean my room when I arrived. It really was not in kept condition. There were servers during breakfast but they neglected to remove the soiled dishes during our meal.
4 Spa Resort Hotel - Aci Castello - Bedroom

Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, limo/town car service, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff very nicely. In my opinion, the best thing of this place is the SPA! Beautiful, fabulous and very relaxing! Good breakfast with fresh fruit juices.
Cons: Nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: Cleanliness was up to standards, however if that’s the highlight of everyone’s review, then that’s not saying much. Breakfast was surprisingly decent, more options than I thought, to include scrambled eggs. I’d review the spa part of the hotel, however I didn’t bother with it, and I’ll explain why.
Cons: I’ve been living in Sicily for a while, so I’ve gotten accustomed to waiting for meal times, inconsistent customer service, general confusion in daily matters.. that being said, still disappointed here yet not surprised in the slightest. The bed was awful. The frame is just a wooden box, and the springy mattress was uneven, causing me to shift constantly and uncomfortably. I didn’t mind the front desk staff; however when we went to check the spa out, that’s when I started to hit my threshold. We inquired about some of the spa services and options, and were left with an answer of “you can just go on the website”. I can’t even get mad anymore, I’m just used to this. I’d say if you’re interested in having a spa day, then just skip the hotel. But I don’t know anything about the spa; just that you need to buy the €30 bathrobes and pay by the hour. Sorry everybody, hope this helps some of you. I won’t be back. Good luck.
5.0 Okay
Pros: this hotel has private parking
Cons: terrible breakfast, personnel not friendly, room acceptable,
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and quiet. Large room and very nice SPA which isn’t included for the guests of the hotel so it will be an extra cost, which is worth it though.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good. Not for gluten and lactose free guests.
Cons: First of all there is no welcoming by the receptionist at hotel. They should inform clients about all facilities, breakfast times and how it works when you do check in at the hotel. We booked this hotel as it had a pool and spa. No one told us that these facilities didn't belong to hotel. They were different departments and need to be paid separately. We were infact charged 30€ for 10 mins in the pool. Apart from that they didn't let us in the spa without a booking made at reception. So we never saw the Spa area in a hotel called 4Spa resort... Apart from that they don't really cater for gluten and lactose free guests. We have experienced that too. There is the need of better communication with the guests as it is a disaster.
Hotel Lachea - Aci Castello - Building

With a stay at Albergo Lachea in Aci Castello, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Norman Castle and Timpa Natural Reserve. Featured amenities include a computer station, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was clean , large rooms and only a 10 min stroll into town
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Lachea is situated in an excellent area, not far from Catania and Taormina. A family run Hotel with very helpful staff. The food is exquiste. The staff made sure that we were never hungry with the vast selection of food both during breakfast and dinner. Dining at the Hotel was more worthed rather than to dine at the core of the village as the menu is from meat to fish to seafood. The pool is very clean and the rooms are of high standard. The staff was very helpful and friendly especially Enzo the maintenance man, Alfio our waiter and Alberto our receptionist. We had children with us, a one-year-old baby and a five-year-old boy the staff showed great concern every day towards our children. For sure we recommend this hotel to others.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful and friendly
Cons: Noise from busy road but that's not the hotels fault
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was ok including breakfast
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was very spacious and we had fresh towels every morning. The bed was two singles pushed together but made for a very comfy sleep. There's plenty of storage space. Breakfast room is lovely and bright and the coffee and cakes were good. Staff were very attentive, friendly, and the hotel has a lovely family-run feel to it. We spent 7 nights there and felt like we were part of the family. I think the dinner at the hotel is one of the best meals you'll have in the town - all 4 courses and bread for 16 EUR is excellent value, and the antipasti in particular is delicious. Location-wise, it's a 5 minute walk from the centre of the little town and seafront, so it's very central. Furthermore, it's a good base if you want to visit Mount Etna, Taormina and the coastal areas of the south east.
Cons: Breakfast was very sugar-heavy in terms of options. It's an Italian thing to have cake and biscuits on offer, but there was very little in terms of savoury to balance this. I never touched the scrambled eggs as they always looked a bit grey and yucky, and the only other savoury stuff was partially grilled tomatoes, salami, cheese and hard-boiled eggs. It's a shame there are no poolside toilets, so you have to get dressed and walk through reception to use the facilities there (or do it in your swimwear/towel, of course!) You can't ignore the fact that the hotel is just off a main road, and even the road leading up to it goes right past the pool area, so it's hard to block out the sound (everyone drives in Italy, so the traffic is pretty constant). You barely notice it in the rooms though when the balcony doors are closed, at least we didn't and we were pool and sea facing. Also, the pool is next to the little car park so we found quite a few people would walk through the pool area after parking up to attend a meeting in their meeting room there, so this meant the poolside is not really a place you'd want to hang out in all holiday.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfst and location great. Very friendly and accomodting staff. Extremely clean!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pool, free car parking on site, breakfast included.
Cons: Nothing, perfect stop for 1 night
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, daily towel change, friendly staff, beautiful patio with swing, calm by the pool
Cons: at night, when the window is open, you can hear the noise from the road
Hotel Eden Riviera - Aci Castello - Bedroom

₹ 4,410+

With a stay at Hotel Eden Riviera in Aci Castello, you'll be a 3-minute drive from Norman Castle and 10 minutes from Acireale Cathedral. Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location is the only good thing of this hotel. But this isn't the only hotel in the area with an amazing view. Plus the Cyclops is something that has nothing to do with the hotel or its owner. We need to thank mom Etna for that
Cons: The location is the only attractive thing of this hotel. Surely back in the years it was a rare gem: rugs, wooden floor, pool and a nice garden. Too bad they have quit taking care of the whole building many, MANY years ago. Same goes for the garden and the pool included so you will be welcomed by a terrible smell of dust and dirt since the entrance. Things won't go any better in the rooms. In fact we had to request a massive cleaning that has been addressed only the day after and it wasn't as accurate as it supposed to be. In addiction the A/C is super old, filters haven't been changed in centuries and this can lead to serious health issues! The owner doesn't take responsibilities for the poor conditions of the hotel and actually will even attack you in case you require the least everyone would expect. You can have a jewel in your hands, but if you dont take good care of it, it will go wasted anyway! Furthermore foreigners need the due respect because they are a super precious resources for us as Sicilians for this reason we should welcome them in the best way possible instead of taking advantages of them. Terrible experience! If you're allergic to dust and similar, do not go there. I was almost risking my life and they were informed of my allergy issues 15 days before our arrival! PS: the rate might be high because if you give 5 points for the view or the location, even though the rest was horrible, the rate will still be over 4. So WATCH OUT!!
6.7 Good
Pros: The pool View on the sea
Cons: Refresh the decoration -- bit old fashion. Add a restaurant and arrange the terrasse Breakfast could be better
7.9 Good
Pros: Great breakfast, breathtaking views from terrace, very helpful receptionists, safe parking, great outdoor space
Cons: No extra pillows, no elevator, shower is outdated. Fixed showerhead (not detachable) , almost impossible to wash children, shower curtain which either sticks to the person having a shower or makes a huge mess of water outside d shower, saw a small cockroach in the shower, poor housekeeping especially in the bathroom (cobwebs), missing toiletries on 1 day.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is great
7.5 Good
Pros: The view
Cons: The hotel is a little old
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Pool area, scenery, nice spot
Cons: It was all lovely
5.0 Okay
Pros: View from front room was exceptional, staff was helpful.
Cons: The hotel needs updating - fat-back tvs, air conditioners that are more antique than functional, wallpaper peeling, shower curtains three inches too short to work effectively and a hole in the wall.
7.0 Good
Cons: The road to the hotel is a bit dangerous for pedestrians as part of it has no pavement.
Villa Ortensia - Aci Castello - Bedroom

Featured amenities include express check-out, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The place was very comfortable and safe. The people are friendly. They offer pick up. WIFI was great! Lady that cooks was very helpful. Although she didn't speak English we were able to communicate.
Cons: There is no beach front. It is not on the sea. The breakfast is too sweet and limited. No one available at front desk.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed everything, from the room to the garden, to the hospitality of the hosts. You can ask them anything, they are very friendly and they will provide you with all the necessary info so that you visit all the main attractions (Etna, Taormina, the center etc). The rooms are spotless, and you also have a kitchen there where you could prepare something if you are hungry. You have the possibility to go to the beach (it is a rocky beach) right in front of the villa with superb water. I went to two places, Rissaca (where you have a discount if you mention that you are from Villa Ortensia) or Mamasea. I recommend Mamasea even if it costs a couple of extra euros. If you want to go to a beach with sand, there is Lido Azzurro, about 10 km away from Villa Ortensia (a 15 min drive). There are a couple of restaurants nearby. The one I liked the most was Da Baffo which is a really nice family-like restaurant. We ate there three times and everything was very, very good. Also try their cakes. I didn't like La Putia Sul Mare not to mention it was quite dirty, and Baia Verde is also a good option if you're looking for something fancier, but take into account that is way more expensive and with smaller portions. If you need a supermarket nearby there is one near Scogliera, around 3,5 km away from Villa Ortensia and it closes at 21,00. There aren't many shops around. So enjoy your stay, I wholeheartedly think that you will love it there and Villa Ortensia is a little corner of heaven. You will have the intimacy you desire, and if you have a car it's minutes just outside the city center. And if you have any problems, run them by the hosts and they will provide you with all the necessary info so that everything will be perfect.
Cons: If you come to Villa Ortensia it's best to rent a car. The bus schedule is chaotic, sometimes a bus arrives every hour or every two hours. We waited one day two and a half hours for a bus. It doesn't matter if you take a photo of the schedule, the drivers never follow it. It's because they have so few buses in all Catania. So, in conclusion, rent a car or a scooter. The taxis are very expensive. They will charge you 30-40 euros for a couple of km drive, especially if they see that you are a tourist.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was awesome, the hosts where very nice :) !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Made us feel like we were part of the family. Fantastic home made food. Loads of advice on places to see. Very well presented family home that they open as a guest house. Private parking spaces.even the family pet dog was super chilled.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Bed was firmer than we prefer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: BBB owners property Erminia and here husband , are very kind and informative . The property has a story, worth while listening . The place is very nice , a good hand and taste of Erminia is all around. We (4 people 2 rooms) stayed at the place for two nights. We have used a car and found out the location , next to the sea and in a nice neighborhood excellent.
Cons: None

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Pool area and garden's.
Cons: Our apartment was too near the main road so noisy and sitting out we were breathing in traffic fumes.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We loved the owners, present but very discreet, ready to solve any issue or to give great advices for where to eat, what to see. We never had breakfast by the pool but we saw the location in which they offer it for the requesting guests and it was wonderful. The property is perfect for families as it's a closed big garden with palm, olive and lemon trees, perfect for the children to play. the pool is bigger that in photos and very clean, the area surrounding it has couches, sofas, BBQ, sun beds. Apartments are large.
Cons: cleanliness, especially under the beds, some of the lights were not working, some of the apartments are renoveted, others (of our friends) were not, hot water in one of ours (we rented 4 apts) didn't work but the owners offered promplty anoter apartment. Forniture is very basic, but it matches the price you pay.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The terrace the pool nearly everything was ok.i will suggest it especially for families
Cons: Breakfast
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious apartment and great swimming pool
7.9 Good
Pros: Very nice pool area, easy parking. Flexible and friendly host.
Cons: Too hard beds. Extremely dangerous road to walk alongside, so really recommended to drive if you plan to leave the apartment area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Villa is a perfect asylum/ home base for traveling eastern Sicily. We loved the beautiful garden, and while the weather was chilly, we still managed to enjoy the pool. The breakfast was plentiful and quite good. You can also use the kitchen for cooking, the terrace is a perfect spot for enjoying your meals (with adequate space and privacy).
Cons: A car is definitely needed, because the area is not pedestrian friendly, however the Villa has excellent, safe parking.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Great host, beautiful pool area and garden. The Very good breakfast. The house and the furniture is a little bit older, but still ok and confortable. Property is close to the centre of Aciterezza, beautiful small town, with good restaurants and close to Catania, which means is easy to go on trips around Sicily.

4.2 Okay
Pros: Location, close to nice bars and restaurants and the city centre.
Cons: The room didn't meet at all our expectations. Very old fashioned, small, no chairs to put our affairs. The bathroom ceiling was covered with rot in the shower area. The towels were smelling unpleasantly of humidity. I think that for the price asked they should provide a far better service.
7.9 Good
Pros: Perfect location, very close to the sea, across the street. Own parkingplace. B&B clearly indicated through a sign. Spacious room and small bathroom. Enough choice for breakfast, enjoyed on a large roofterrace. Walking distance from the castle

The view is remarkable. The real holiday atmosphere there. The host was very helpful and friendly. Peppe is really a host not house keeper only, he really loves to be a host and to serve best services for guests. He offers a delicious gourmet sweet breakfast, full of local dishes. Every day something special. Great local ingredients. Cats there are very cuddly and friedly to people, specially to children. From the first day till the end we felt special there.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: B&B Pupi Catania is located in a quiet area just outside of Catania. We had a great room with a beautiful view of the sea and the Norman castle in Aci Castello. Given the distance to Catania and Aci Castello, it is recommended to have a car. The host Pepe and his staff do everything to make the guests happy. The breakfast is extensive and consists of delicious local products. Pepe is happy to provide information about life in Sicily and places of interest in the area. We enjoyed our stay and can heartily recommend this B&B.
Cons: Perhaps the music in the morning (although mood enhancing !) a little bit less loud.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really nice location. View from the room and the balcony is gorgeous! Peppe is a really kind host! He welcomed us with a nice drink and good sweets. We could use his kitchen to make a nice salad and he gave us a good breakfast early in the morning before our departure.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great views and super friendly staff/owners. Very helpful and english speaking. Pool, & Bar Lounge on the property was nice.
Cons: Wish it were a bit closer to the center of the city. It's about a 15 minute walk which was OK once but not all the time. However, I have to thank Federico because he understood and drove us to the city center no charge. His brother drove us to our next stop, as a replacement for a taxi, at standard cost but then stayed to make sure we got into our next B&B safely. Mom served us breakfast and was there to help with anything we needed. Super nice family.
6.3 Good
Pros: The view from the terrace was super.
Cons: The amount of steps to arrive is not ideal for someone who might have limited mobility. That was not mentioned in the advertising.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very very nice and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and the view was beautiful. The location isn't that bad but for the center of the city you have to walk like 10 min on a fast road. They gave us a perfect recommendation for dinner.
Cons: The room was very small, it was supposed to be sea view but the window was very very small. The bathroom is small too. Also, the entrance with the car was complicated and in the morning there was a lot of noise.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location of accomodation, parking, lounge bar in garden, view from terasse directly to Aci Castello, swimming pool in a garden (but you can swim just with cup)
Cons: No balcony in a room, small room for three people, just sweet breakfast for first morning (but we asked for normal breakfast and second morning we had it), no drinkable water just for cash from minibar, too much money for this services I was expecting more it is normal B&B
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice property a short walk from town
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location: waking up to perfect sunrise, able swim in the sea in front of the hotel. Bus to Catania behind the hotel and only costs 1 euro Staff: they have been great, help us on arranging airport transfers, boat trips, Etna trip, Taorima..etc. Breakfast: traditional Italian breakfast ( i was on low carb diet, they were happy to cook eggs for me) Room: was clean, comfy, had air condition and good showers

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nicely located hotel with a sea view. Nice rooms.
Cons: The breakfast room is somehow odd, but also with a nice sea view. The access to the sea is very limited and you need to drive to get to a sand beach.
7.0 Good
Cons: Breakfast. Fairly basic. Scrambled egg provided, fried eggs are an additional €5.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff really nice, hotel near to the beach, spa no so expensive
6.0 Good
Pros: The bed was good minibar I like it
Cons: Toothpaste were not found no slippers and just coffee without milk
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food in the restaurant was a bit pricey, but really good. The room exceeded our expectations, had a beautiful view to the sea, really comfortable beds and was generally clean. Would definitely come back.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Sheraton standard for Sheraton prices. Great view. Good breakfast and massage
Cons: Really ancient hairdrier, had to clean it from old dust. Tiny SPA-area. Food in restaurant is overpriced
10.0 Excellent
Pros: staff kind and with a smile locazione is great and the views are incredible facility is easy to find and very simple to view
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, nice customer service, quiet location but a bit far away from any local shops and activities. Shuttle bus to Catania centre only for €2 per person for round trip :)
Cons: That was shame that this hotel doesn't have any interior pool as external swimming pool is open from April

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Near the airport so was convenient. The room far exceeded by expectations. Really comfortable. Clean in design and clean in hygiene. Modern Italian design with comfortable bed and pillows. Staff were superb.
Cons: Only that we almost missed the closing of the restaurant for the night because of a later flight.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from the balcony. The restaurant staff was lovely. Plus a very clean room.
Cons: The walk to the airport on the roads
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Generally pleasant and helpful staff. quick response from room service. Excellent potato and mushroom soup in the restaurant!!. Except for the bathroom safety issue, the room was good and when no opener was available for the minibar, one was quickly supplied along with the room service. We had a great view of Etna from our room that afternoon--an unexpected plus after spending ten days in other parts of Sicily.
Cons: Downgraded you on "facilities" primarily on the safety issue. Like all European hotels, no one seems to make it easy for older people to get in and out of the shower/tub safely. Besides the wall bar, there are hold bars that fasten to the edge of a tub which are helpful in getting out. I have seen some here in the US, don't think I saw any in European hotels. Also square toilet seat was a surprise--we even took a photo because we had never seen such before--but I don't find that it is very comfortable to sit on!
7.0 Good
Pros: Very generously dimensioned rooms. Free shuttle service to airport - only 5 minutes drive.
Cons: The pool is nice but location not so great. Restaurants in the area are uneventful. So it’s clearly a great airport hotel, not a resort.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Room spacious and clean. Close to airport.
Cons: Shuttle pickup slow. Seem to run the shuttle hourly. So close to the airport it could be as needed or, at least, twice per hour.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We booked a room at very short notice. It was large, quiet and nicely furnished. Staff at reception and room service staff were friendly and helpful. Only a 10 min. walk to the Airport which proved very useful when we learned that a "Rescue" flight would arrive very soon to take us home to England. We had a free lift in the hotel shuttle bus. Thank you staff and apologies for leaving our room in a bit of a mess!
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice place to go if you are flying out of Catania! Big rooms, ours had a view of the mt. etna.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, clean and modern room with a great bed!
Cons: Restaurant experience was poor. Food was cold and fit for a vegetarian. Breakfast was spartan.
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: Room was a nice size and it was clean.
Cons: Steph was unfriendly and unhelpful. Also, shuttle bus was full when we needed it. We needed to get to the airport at 5 o'clock in the morning. That's why we stayed at the hotel! Had to take a taxi for $20 instead.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good. The room was clean. They were changing towels every day. For us to be at this hotel, was perfect. With a rental car it was easy to come to the highway for all destinations. We parked the car outside the hotel free of charge. It was a bit of experience to drive in the sentrum of Catania with all the traffic. But not expensive to come to the sentrum by bus.
Cons: No any negative comments.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice big room
Cons: I did not like the fact that all companies kayak booking hotel com amoma publish one price and when you agree the price changes and ther is all ways a folse information that at the end you pay more from the publish price or you have to pay extras which are supposed to be included so please stop bloofing the customers
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Room was large and clean but next to some staff room at the very end of the hall downstairs so could hear loud talking. The location is good for travelers having to fly in and out of Catania airport. The hotel has a shuttle for 5 Euros.
Cons: At a minimum coffee or tea should be provided for guests no matter even if they paid less than another guest. The hotel is not near restaurants and cafes so you would have to leave the hotel to go to a cafe.

Pros: Great hardware look Lo
Cons: Staff is a little retarded
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall nice hotel and helpful staff
Cons: Location
4.5 Okay
Pros: Outstanding breakfast and food.
Cons: Unable to control the temperature of my room. What's the point of having A/C controls in the room if they do not work and are controlled by reception? Totally unacceptable for a supposed 4 star hotel. I must have called reception about 5-7 times because my room was too warm. I kept getting told that the temperature for my room specifically was lowered which is untrue. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport, I was hoping for a good night's sleep and didn't get it. Extremely annoyed.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds super comfy and amaeing huge shower. Nuxe toiletries. True that this hotel is not central but there is a lovely seaside promenade and great views.
Cons: Nothing - was a shame the roof terrace was shut! Very steep to get to the carpark.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Stayed in this hotel several times and the overall good standard is pretty consistent. It has a good lock-up garage and a very good breakfast and there is a very good restaurant just next to the hotel.
Cons: This time round the shower was not working well and kept changing from very hot to very cold and this made showering quite annoying. Breakfast is still being served in the basement; refurbishment of the breakfast room on the roof is taking too long (same situation prevailed when we were there on New Year's Day)
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location view of sea
Cons: Building work being done so no roof top terrace access which is why I booked it!! We should have been told this prior to our visit. First day no hot or cold water. Not told in advance. Loud banging or hammering right next to us in the morning ☹️
6.0 Good
Pros: The bed was firm, but surprisingly comfortable. About the eggs that everyone talks about - if you have breakfast around 7, the eggs will be runny. Around 8, it's slightly runny and around 9, the eggs are no longer runny. Other than that, we loved the fresh orange juice, the water pressure in the shower was great and our room was spacious.
Cons: During our stay, the hotel was undergoing renovations and it was noisy. There were times electricity was shut off (although they called us to let us know). The walls are also very thin, so you can hear everything. I'm sure the hotel operates better in the summer time.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: In my view the price/quality ratio for this hotel is very good. For someone with a car this is a very good place to stay in in Catania. It is right on the coast with nice sea views and the hotel has a good underground garage. There is also on-street parking across the road. We note improvements every time we stay in this hotel; to the rooms and the common areas. The memory foam mattress was really really nice. The buffet breakfast is also really good and plentiful. There is an excellent restaurant right next door to the hotel.
Cons: Pity breakfast had to be served in a (nice) hall in the basement because the usually very nice rooftop breakfast room is undergoing refurbishment we were told.

Overview Reviews
Pupi Catania Etna is a Bed and Breakfast placed in a big villa in Aci Castello, on the coast that connects Messina and Siracusa through Catania and Taormina. The villa has a strategic position, near to the city but far enough to guarantee a good countryside atmosphere and no chaos at all. All the rooms offer a stunning view over the Riviera dei Ciclopi, characterised by the Aci Castello medieval castle and the famous Acitrezza “Faraglioni”. All the rooms come with ensuite bathroom, AC, roof vent, TV, WiFi and private external space in the garden or the terrace. Internal safe parking space is also available. We recommend coming with your own conveyance but public transportation is available as well at short distances. There are also bicycle and car rental available. This BnB is the perfect headquarter for a road trip of Sicily or to visit the city of Catania. The Etna volcano, the city of Taormina, the Jonica coast (which goes from Siracusa to Messina), the baroque cities of Ragusa, Modica and Scicli, the spectacular Roman “Villa del Casale” in Piazza Armerina, they're all destinations easily reachable by car without moving your luggage. Coming back from the excursions and having dinner in the typical Aci Castello, Acitrezza, Capomulini restaurants will be an unforgettable experience. There, you'll find fresh fish offered at low-cost prices. This BnB is placed in Aci Castello, just 950 meters away from the gorgeous medieval castle from which the town takes its name. The distance from the city centre of Catania is just 10 km (around 20 minutes by car). Catania Fontanarossa, the nearest airport, is just 15 km away (30 minutes by car). The one of Ragusa Comiso is 100 km far. Chef Peppe Caudullo, the host, is always happy to help you discover the real Sicily with his hints and tips. With his help, even the novice tourist will be able to understand an enjoy the “Mediterranean language” at his best. Peppe wants to offer to all his guests the experience of a relaxing staying, the feeling of being hosted by a friend in his house, sharing the Sicilian daily routine. For this purpose, he organises successful cooking classes (also available in English) but also art classes.

Pros: We spent 5 wonderfull days in Pupis appartment He is an excellent host who gave us so many tips about locations, restaurants...he celebrates the breakfast, everyday we have other typical things to taste, learn much about sicilian. Pupi is such a friendly, charming man and we will miss him.

Pros: We enjoyed our stay in Pupi B&B. Our young son played with cats, and we admired the breath taking sunrises from the window of our room. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and good equiped.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms, fantastic garden and view to the sea, very relaxing. Excellent Sicilian breakfast with a lot of specialities. Very friendly host, you'll receive a lot of good travel tips.

Pros: Everything was awesome, the hosts where very nice :) !

Pros: Made us feel like we were part of the family. Fantastic home made food. Loads of advice on places to see. Very well presented family home that they open as a guest house. Private parking spaces.even the family pet dog was super chilled.

1 day max
