7.0 Good
Pros: Love the location just off the motorway. Husband has a golf lesson whilst I go to a meeting so works well. The breakfast is fantastic with so much choice and plenty of coffee.
Cons: The rooms are a little small and dated. We upgraded to a family room which gave us plenty of extra space and a large bed (most rooms have a double which we find too small). Main problem is the poor lighting and no where to sit and dry your hair in front of a well lit mirror. Husband would have liked a shaving mirror in the bathroom.
6.3 Good
Pros: Excellent golf course. Sam’s bar is lively and enjoyable
Cons: Ryder grill expensive. Disengaged bordering on rude staff. Bed uncomfortable. Some room furnishings broken. Bar expensive for average cocktails but a nice environment.
1.0 Poor
Pros: I booked the stay including breakfast and had to pay for it again. Also the rooms couldnt have been further away from each other. The staff were rude and unhelpful at reception. one of the rooms were still being cleaned at 7.30pm so after being sent there, there was a man in there cleaning.
Cons: see above also it was very overpriced. It wasn't a good experiece at all. The night cost around £600 with the rooms, paying for breakfast twice, food and drinks. We could have gone abroad for that

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Reception not helpful. Wrong directions given for rooms. Had to push wheelchair round hotel to find room. Windows broken. Bedside lamp not working. 2 sockets in room. Room was dark.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Dinner was great every night
6.0 Good
Cons: The restaurant was only open in weekends. This was not informed on the home page
6.0 Good
Pros: Five minute drive to a nice park where there were lovely walks. Very reasonably priced.
Cons: We stayed here for two nights a friday and saturday. The hotel was extremely busy. Breakfast each morning was chaos. There was not enough food or drinks and we had to wait for each to be restocked. By the time it was restocked everything was taken again instantly. We ended up leaving and grabbing food elsewhere as we had no choice. The pool was also very busy. It's more suited for a family with kids. It's not somewhere you go to relax.
7.9 Good
Cons: Everything and everyone was great, until we went to the pool and sauna, staff was super unfriendly over there. Not even bothering to lift their eyes from a phone. Wouldn’t be surprised if teenagers would be working over there, but I actually was a mature lady. Other than that everyone was super polite and welcoming, food was great as well.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location good.
Cons: Side lights not working in the bedroom, TV signal lost. Pillows too soft and uncomfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great! Room was lovely. Dinner was great in Bar76 after the spa. Reception staff were brilliant too.
Cons: Nothing.

Cons: Nothing
6.0 Good
Pros: We ate in the restaurant in the evening - for a family party. The food and service were both excellent. The breakfast was very good.
Cons: Our room was in an annex and the corridors felt quite shabby. Our room was comfortable and clean, but it didn't feel like it was in a 4* hotel. I also asked about going to the spa for an hour after we checked out (as check in is late and check out quite early, we hadn't had a chance to go to the spa yet). The reception staff were really funny about it - made me feel quite awkward for asking as if I was being really cheeky.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Room very clean bed comfortable
Cons: Shower wouldn't adjust for temperature and hot water exceptionally hot , we had a meal included in a function we attended which was distinctly average .
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed using the swimming pool and spa facilities. All the staff were extremely polite and helpful.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: A great hotel set in a lovely romantic scenery. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room had everything you needed ,it was spotless and it had a fantastic bathroom.I would highly recommend not only was the room great it has entertainment too all at a good price.
4.0 Okay
Pros: I was given a complimentary upgrade and breakfast as I advised reception it was my partners birthday.
Cons: There was excessive dust behind tv and some surfaces also showed evidence of dust. The room was tired and outdated and wall paper was peeling at the corners on many places. Wallpaper had dirty patches on it. Room didn't feel fresh and clean. I was given an upgrade but room standard was poor and in my opinion was not executive standard. Hotel was empty but we was given the furthest room possible. No milk in room for tea making facilities. Was told room service only for breakfast as restaurant closed due to coronvirus and we was to fill in the card in and hang on door for our breakfast order. Was sat waiting on breakfast and our card had not even been collected.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and peaceful, close to shops and restaurants, great location
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: They have a car park. I didn't really go to explore much else, but I suppose I would have enjoyed it more had it not been for my unfortunate incident.
Cons: Everything seemed fine until the staff let an unauthorised female to enter my room when I was not present! Long story short, when packing to go home, I realised that I had food and money missing! I reported it to the main desk where they said the management will get back to me after they have reviewed the security cameras. But as I suspected, I haven't received a response. And I do not have the time to chase them up! They probably thought that I would just leave the matter alone. Yes I am a reserved individual and I prefer not to get into any sort of conflicts. Which is why when I initially decided to report the matter, I didn't do so in a disrespectful way in front of their other customers. I waited for an opportunity to discuss it with a very polite member of their staff. I am a business owner myself and I always treat my customers with the utmost respect. Unfortunately, having reported the matter to staff in the best way that I possibly could, and followed up the day before I checked out, I STILL haven't heard anything from them. Which is a shame because the staff member that I spoke to was very sweet and understanding. It's a shame that the management haven't had the courtesy to contact me and discuss the matter with me directly I do believe this is a one of a kind incident that is highly unlikely to repeat itself. But it's not like I stay in hotels that often! I wanted a relaxed time but it turned out to be the complete opposite! I don't see the point in me leaving my name for the review because the hotel know exactly who I am. I still can't believe why they have simply ignored the matter entirely.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Really warm and friendly welcome. Staff fantastic
7.9 Good
Pros: Comfortable room. Excellent shower - hot and powerful. All staff friendly and welcoming. Considering the difficulties with Coronavirus they were great. Breakfast was very tasty and filling. Thank you

Pros: Staff were very helpful. Reception looks lovely
Cons: Rooms look very tired shame they don’t look as nice as the reception.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff we're extremely helpful and always on hand.
Cons: The only thing I can offer in terms of negative feedback is no thermostat in the room I booked. It is 20 mins from Birmingham town centre so I had to get a cab there.

4.0 Okay
Pros: Plenty of parking.
Cons: Apparently room was superior... There was a hole in the wall, some of the wall paper was coming off the wall, the windows were old and need replacing as although they were shut there were still gaps and the road traffic was noisy, the walls were also thin I could hear the person in the next room snoring! The re had been a leak in the room above and the water damage was still on the ceiling, the shower in the bathroom had clearly had problems and the panel at the bottom was missing.

Pros: Staff were amazing, very friendly and made me feel very welcome. Restaurant and pub very cozy and modern and staff were great. Food arrived quickly!

Pros: Countryside location
Cons: Room 6 was very shabby. Wallpaper flaking off the wall. Mould around the walls by the skirting board. TV didn’t work. Remote had to be replaced. Shower very weak power, couldn’t turn the water off. Had to report it to Reception who were very apologetic and obliging. Worst of all the bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was not fit for purpose, springs sticking through, very lumpy. Had better nights on the floor!! Won’t be staying here again. Booked for two nights but left after the first night. The newer block had better rooms but was closed. They should have closed the old building instead.

1.0 Poor
Pros: Cheap but for a reason
Cons: This is a nightclub venue, not a hotel. Reception is an unmanned trestle table by the door to the bar, which was rammed with rowdy drinkers 3 deep and difficult to get to. I arrived at 10pm and pushed my way past groups of young lads spilling out into the car park shouting and yelling, one of whom was being sick while his mates laughed at him. I was fobbed off by the bar staff trying to find out about my room, probably because it was so packed with lads pushing through to be served. The nightclub music was booming out at deafening full volume and the place reeked of stale beer. Don’t know how you’re supposed to get any sleep here, I’ll book the Travel Lodge next time. Big thumbs down

Pros: Convenient location for Birmingham new street station but at night it doesn’t feel safe
Cons: My first room was unbearably hot with no air conditioning, fan or even a window. I then asked to be moved to another room which in turn smelled badly of cigarettes. The room was old and dirty. Wifi is only available in the lobby and reception areas. Breakfast was overpriced for what it was and I wish I’d gone to McDonalds for breakfast instead. I wouldn’t stay there again even at a low price.

Cons: Internet slow (but reliable) , room was a bit dated and bathroom needed a little TLC but clean and functional. some rooms are very close to busy A45 but more than adaque sound proofing as long as you don't expect to have your windows open, there is no Air Conditining so this can make regulating the room tempreach a balancing act.
3.1 Mediocre
Pros: Not much really, the breakfast was pretty good.
Cons: Our room was double booked, an irritation but these things happen. We came back from our evening out and were promised a room had been sorted, we went upstairs and walked in on another guest sleeping! Fortunately they extremely calm but this is completely unacceptable. We then tried another room and the same thing happened! Finally on the third attempt and after an hour of waiting we were provided a room. This has completely ruined my hotel experience and simply cannot recommend this hotel.
7.0 Good
Pros: Gym and pool very good
Cons: Cleanliness not great - dirty hand prints on wall behind bed (room 146). Cobwebs in bar area. Cold or at best tepid water both in the evening and morning of our stay
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly. The room service and food were quite pleasant and definitely recommended. I would also suggest a visit to the bar - Sit down, relax. I just loved the entire atmosphere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff Good food in the main restaurant and bar and also great quick room service Great parking and always had spaces
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent evening meal in restaurant. Good service quick check in
Cons: Very hot in room opened windows which helped us get to sleep. Room was clean and beds comfortable.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so helpful, this was the day before restrictions on travel due to COVID started, the staff could not have done more to support/reassure guests including delivering an enormous breakfast to my room with lots of extras with barely any cost.
Cons: The room could do with a little updating but it was spotless and spacious.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Blocked toilet & broken kettle & no shower gel
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The hotel itself was easy to find and seemed in a good location for the NEC. The staff were all pleasant and the bar was being cleaned, the staff delivering food to the room were wearing masks and gloves so every precaution under the circumstances were being taken.
Cons: Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to the Corona virus and the day we arrived it was announced that the bar and leisure centre were closing - all food had to be ordered to the room so unfortunately not a good experience but 100% behind the decision.
7.0 Good
Pros: Lovely hotel, nice room and breakfast. Close to out of town music venue and transport links.
Cons: Only thing that stopped me giving full marks was that none of us could work out how to use the fancy shower.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is in a great location for the NEC and the airport with free parking and within walking distance. The rooms are nice spacious and clean. I've stayed here 5 times now
Cons: I have to say that this time we found the hotel cold. From arriving the room was cold turned the heating up but took several hours to get just warm. Went down to the bar which was also cold. I said to the barman how cold it was and he agreed it was and turned the heating up but with the doors continually opening and one remaining constantly open with the temerature outside -2C it wasn't comfortable most people had their coats on. The same the next morning in the breakfast room I could feel the cold air on my feet and legs!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfy. The hotel tried to make adjustments to accommodate the unusual circumstances (corona virus).
Cons: Unfortunately the leisure facilities were closed but this was not the fault of the hotel.

Pros: Breakfast fabulous
Cons: Price of drinks far too expensive compared to other hotels Had a lunchtime ham sandwich No butter ,? Insufficient seating for breakfast to accommodate customers Had to wait for a seat and then oobtain extra chairs from different parts of restaurant hence food was cold
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room and friendly staff
Cons: 11am check out time. Difference of opinion between day and night staff on check out times
5.0 Okay
Pros: Reception staff were pleasant Mand gave us a full informed debrief and offered any help they could during our stay. Loved the room, we stayed on the top floor - Really loved the views and the room. Food at breakfast was fantastic and well worth the money.
Cons: Around 30 minutes after settling into our room a member of staff decided to let themselves into our room without knocking... totally unprofessional and completely unacceptable. Only realised we were in the room after I asked what on Earth she was doing. She had come to change the bin in our bathroom, and asked if it was inconvenient for us she could return to do it the next day... really?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was exceptional very very helpful and understanding. They accommodated my needs and facilitated to my needs as I travelled from Manchester to see my son which i was at tje Hotel for 12.30pm as they let me check in and freshen up early and was understanding. Also give me a room with a sofa in it as I asked if there was one so me and my son who's 5 years old could sit down and talk ect which they did everything they could for me at no extra cost. I have stayed at loads of hotels all over counter and in Birmingham. I lot of them have been part of the Hilton Honers. This one was the first time at the Hampton Hotel have stayed at others in Birmingham. Definitely will be coming back soon.

Cons: Side lights not working in the bedroom, TV signal lost. Pillows too soft and uncomfortable.
