10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and lovely staff who gave us good recommendations on what to do and see.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mike the Manager of the place was so accommodating. My wife had a fractured foot just before the trip. And he made our stay as comfortable as possible. Getting us a lower floor unit and assisted us in all our request without hesitation. I would definitely recommend this property as it’s also situated strategically close by to all the tourists spots in Rotorua. I had a pleasant stay.

Pros: Everything about our stay was awesome. Super clean, very friendly and helpful. Loved it! Would definitely stay again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were so accommodating and even upgraded us to a larger suite because we were travelling with an infant. They also gave excellent recommendations for places to visit in Rotorua. The spa tub in the room was such a nice touch - wonderful to have a soak after a busy day. Would absolutely recommend The Silver Fern to other travellers, especially families!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The jacuzzi is big and enough for few of us to have a soak in a hot water. My wife and daughter used the spa facility also. We can park just next to our unit.
Cons: None.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Clean room. There was a misundertanding because the aparment did not contain a real kichen (oven). But they were kind and gave a mobile one. Because of travelling with baby it was important.
Cons: Or room was very close to the main road.. (it was dangerous for a toodler) The almost totoly closed private pool is next to the bedroom that is why there is no fresh air in the bedroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing stay. Highly recommended
9.2 Excellent
Pros: everything else
Cons: room was a little dark

5.8 Okay
Pros: The lodge is beautiful however the food didn’t meet our expectation and the price is too costly for a lodge like that....

10.0 Excellent

Cons: No spa or pool
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location of the lodge is everything, it is so peaceful and serene. We got to sleep with the curtains open as there is literally ZERO light pollution. You are sleeping amongst nature and stillness. This is a place where you slow down and read and relax and just enjoy being still. The meals are all included in the room rate and everything we ate was divine! We got massages in our room which were outstanding and a highlight of our stay, really put us in the right mode to make the most out of our short stay. Special mention to Suz who was very helpful and gave us some great local advice!
Cons: I think the mini bar beverages should be upgraded. For a premium lodge the mini bar options should reflect that and they didn't. Also there was no french champagne available by the glass which was disappointing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning setting and amazing place to relax. Highly recommend the room with outside bathtub overlooking the lake. Hosts where very accommodating and genuine. Food also very nice.
Cons: Everything was great

Bathroom very nicely equipped. We had a really good time ! :)
Cons: all good
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and my three teenage children and I enjoyed the stay. The spa in the little courtyard was great too.
Cons: A little noisy in the morning because of the location along the main road. However, this is not different to any of the other many motels on Fenton Rd.

Pros: Service was fantastic. The pictures on the site are actually correct and what you see is what you get no tricks.will return again soon. Highly recommended.
Cons: Parking was a tad tight. Wouldn't comfortably fit my truck in there.
7.5 Good
Pros: The motel is in a good location, close to all of Rotorua’s touristy attractions, with a car. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The staff is friendly, very nice, and helpful.
Cons: We were in room next to the pool. While we were staying at the motel, there were a few families, traveling together, who were staying there, as well. They were at the pool from morning to night and they were very loud people who played very loud music. When they went through gate to the pool, it would bang closed - and they went in and out every 10 minutes. Having a room next to the pool, this was all very annoying. Fortunately, that had to stop at 10:00 pm. In a room without air conditioning, windows are necessary for cooling the room. The one bedroom spa apartment does not have good air flow, even with a fan in the door.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The heated pool was superb.
6.7 Good
Pros: Staff were really helpful.
Cons: The spa pool needed to have a good clean... lots of sediment on the bottom and the spa pool area needed an up grade. Some of the lights in the room were not working.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is very clean! The environment is quite for us to have a good sleep.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff. Great location. Nice hot pool & spa facilities.
Cons: The room needed an over bed fan or air con for it flow.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Clean room.
Cons: A bit far from the main area of the city.

7.9 Good
Pros: Great location in the heart of the city, off street parking, large room, comfy bed, friendly staff.
Cons: Our room was on the roadside so we did get a lot of noise after the local pubs closed. We could also hear the people next door through the connecting door.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location just around the corner from eat street, super attentive staff, spacious room, very clean. Nice decor, has been recently refurbished in modern style. Great private mineral pool, very hot.
Cons: It’s a shame they didn’t double glaze the windows and install sound proof doors when the building was upgraded. Could hear all the noise from the hallway and bathroom of adjacent room, as well as the garden bar down the road which made for interrupted sleep.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Rooms and service.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very luxurious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the little mineral hot pool!

8.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Excellant staff.
Cons: Parking is a problem. No AC. Bed very soft.
7.0 Good
Pros: We had an excellent evening meal. Although we had booked a snug room, the size was perfectly adequate for a one or two night stay. There is an enormous TV screen in the bar which we absolutely hate, but it was very pleasant to be able to sit in the longe area by the fire albeit this was not alight.
Cons: It was good to be at a more historic hotel, but the decoration of the room, and really the hotel in general felt a little tired. The carpet in our room was a real low point. Although our evening meal was very good the dinning room lacked atmosphere. We thought a $30 dollar breakfast just too expensive so opted out.
