4.0 Okay
Pros: Checking out
Cons: Not a well maintained hotel. Not inviting, did not feel welcomed from check in to check out.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to Bryce Canyon Good breakfast with a variety of foods
Cons: Since the hotel is outside of town, we checked out the restaurant for dinner. Found it was too expensive for a family with children (menu did not offer kid friendly food either)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The initial staff checking us in was great and the following mornings breakfast staff huddled to get us all fed and on the road.
Cons: The friends of front desk staff were staring at us during check-in. It's fine they were there but it made my husband and I uncomfortable.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Complimentary breakfast was a realky nice touch.. feiendly staff
7.5 Good
Pros: The location, staff, and rooms were great for the price you pay. Being one of the cheapest options in the area it was above my expectations for sure.
Cons: The breakfast is definitely nothing to write home about. I was underwhelmed at the options that were available and the freshness of the food. That being said, for the price you are paying per night I wouldn’t think you would expect anything great.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is very good.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Room was comfortable for the price
Cons: The “restaurant” attached the hotel (Soup Dish) should be shut down. We now know the reason the name is not posted anywhere. Over priced food. Tasted like it was made 5 days ago, frozen, re-heated to serve, frozen again and reheated to serve us. The “Bolognese” was nothing but 99 cent spiral noodles spaghetti sauce and microwaved chicken. Absolutely the worst food we have ever experienced. Quality hotels should be ashamed they are affiliated with such an establishment.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good size room and clean
9.0 Excellent

Pros: Excellent breakfast. Much more variety than most others.
4.0 Okay
Cons: This hotel needs renovations. The musty, mildew smell it awful. Also the front desk help needs a lesson on appearance and keeping their image at a higher level.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to Bryce National Park was excellent; about 20 miles - city of Panquitch was not congested. Breakfast included was good (lots of variety/ hot or cold) - nice to eat and go before heading to the park without having to make another stop at a restaurant. We arrived late evening; after dark - parking and entrance were well lit.
Cons: This is an older, exterior entrance motel - so there is some road noise, but not enough to keep us awake.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Price was double what it should have been! Minor mold in bathroom, poor quality workmanship (peeled dry wall) around the tub and mirror. The clerk was on a personal phone call when we checked in and continued to be so as we filled in paperwork.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Key card had to be exchanged 3times before it worked. Morning breakfast was out of most items by 8 am. One person assigned to front desk and breakfast room. Was doing a poor job at both

Pros: Good value for money, clean and comfortable. Good location for entering Bryce Canyon Park in the morning. Easy check-in and check-out.
Cons: We stayed at another Rodeway Inn just over the border in Arizona for a slightly cheaper price and we were given a free breakfast (and a good one). This Rodeway Inn offered no breakfast. However, the gentleman at the front desk very kindly leant us a microwaveable bowl so we could make our own dinner and breakfast.

Pros: Clean, really good breakfast.
Cons: nothing, I would stay there again.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, good location away from town - I see this as a bonus. It is old and basic, but the price reflects that. I would rather support a small family business than a big motel chain. Very friendly family run business. If you want a cheap stay, no frills and don’t mind the old school rooms you will enjoy your stay.
Cons: Nothing

9.0 Excellent
Cons: My friend had an allergic reaction to the detergent used for the sheets and couldn't sleep

Cons: Know the difference between an Inn and a Hotel. Very Dated. Needs Updating
9.0 Excellent
Cons: price was kind-of high for condition although I was pleased with room, and very pleased with service. price = supply and demand.

Pros: It was super clean and did not have that old musty cigarette smell!
Cons: I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it but it has been years maybe decades since it has been updated. Thus the fabulous price.
7.7 Good
Pros: I needed a stopover in Pangich on a cross country drive on a cold January night. Most of the town is shut down at this time of year. I expected a pretty basic room but was hoping for clean sheets, , firm bed, and no sticky carpet. The room was certainly simple, but very clean, we'll lighted, and felt safe and secure. It was a great value for the money and I'll stay there again if I'm needing a room in that area.

5.0 Okay
Pros: It was close to red canyon.
Cons: Despite advertising that there is breakfast included in price, when we arrived we were informed that during winter there's no breakfast (nothing of that sort was written on the motels page). One of the rooms we received was really cold (just one of the radiators worked, in both bathroom radiators were broken). Bathroom looks like from prison. Half of power outlets were not working. In general: I strongly not recommend.

Pros: It had a very large room.
Cons: Not much soundproofing so when people above us moved around you could really hear them. This happened late at night. Also the pool wasn't able to be used on one of our days and it was extremely hot.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Front desk clerk was an excellent person. Rooms need to have major maintenance done on them. Would not come here again.
Cons: Could not take a shower no hot water at all. Had to move sheets from one bed to other to stay warm. Only good thing about stay is the lady working their was super nice and you could tell she was doing her best with what she had.
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff & the location
Cons: No breakfast October thru May...even though it’s on the website, this is the OFF SEASON...the facility is older, the main office is closed until 4:00pm each day...nice town & friendly people...the grocery store is right down the street & has decent prices
1.0 Poor
Cons: Bed spreads were stained. Towels were grey, and sheets were thin an worn through. I think my dog picked up a tick while we stayed there.
1.0 Poor
Cons: Staff was not present when I arrived. I waited 45 minutes in the lobby then finally knocked on the window of the owners apartment. She was very rude and cussed at me for bothering her. She even had the audacity to tell me she was not working even though her help was no where to be found. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Owners Loretta and Mike checked us in, very friendly, room was huge but warm, bed was very comfortable, no frills but we didn't need that, just plain and clean.
Cons: This was our second stay with them. Both times we got charged a few dollars more than the price Loretta quoted us over the phone. But they were so nice and friendly and room was so comfortable that it was still well worth it. Don't forget to leave a tip for the room cleaner for a job well done!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: EVERYTHING! Clean rooms, roomy bathrooms, nice hot showers, easy check-in. Owners are very nice.
Cons: Amazing motel & a great price! Comfy beds & nice hot shower! Owners were very friendly & recommended great places to eat! Highly recommend this place when visiting Panguitch. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area again.
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice staff, got a 20%off voucher for a local restaurant for breakfast.
7.5 Good
Pros: This was a perfectly nice place to stay in Panguitch. It's pretty small, but there is enough parking for guests and easy access to rooms. It's close to Main Street, which is nice. And the beds were comfortable and it was clean.
Cons: I would expect a motel like this to have a mini fridge in the rooms, but it does not. I think that would be a nice addition. Also there is no breakfast, which we obviously knew when booking, but it does create issues on Sundays when almost all restaurants in town are closed. Fortunately we were checking out on Sunday and just went on to our next destination and got breakfast there.
4.2 Okay
Pros: No Comment
Cons: They overcharged us by $10.00 and won't refund our money.... and, most important.. they have bed bugs.. I have about 40 bites all over my body. I went to a doctor today, cost $140.00 for the doctors visit and I now have to take three prescriptions.. not to mention the burning and itching... Talked to the staff... they don't care... But, he did say there was a man from Germany who brought bedbugs with him... apparently, they didn't have it professionally cleaned...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My visit coincided with a cold snap which sent night temperatures plummeting to minus 12 - we Londoners are not used to that!. However the room was warm and snug and I slept well. The owner was friendly and informative and gave good recommendations of where to eat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely helpful & friendly owners
Cons: Not applicable
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location is good for visiting Bryce Canyon and red rock Canyon (around 30 mins drive). Free parking. Helpful and friendly staff. There are groceries around.
Cons: There is no microwave in the room. Microwave and freezer are available from 8 am to 11 pm.
New Western Motel - Panguitch - Bedroom

6.6 Good (29 reviews)
₹ 4,709+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at New Western Motel in Panguitch, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Gem Theatre and Historic GEM Theatre. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.1 Good
Pros: Due to increased tourism, the price of hotels in the Bryce Canyon area are more expensive than they should be. The Days Inn is one of the few that can be found for sub-$100 and is located relatively close to the park. The rooms are large and the price includes a free breakfast. It is a budget hotel in a small town and guests should take this into account when visiting as meal options and site seeing, other than the park, are very limited.
Cons: There is inadequate staff for this location -- one gal does it all, from check-in to breakfast to check-out which leads to issues with the breakfast being refilled in a timely manner (the entire hotel was filled due to its location and everyone was up eating early and checking in/out at the same time). One extra person during the AM would make a difference.
6.5 Good
Pros: Rooms were clean and roomy. Bedding was very nice.
Cons: Continental Breakfast was really bad. Juice from dispenser was warm and brown colored showing signs of going bad. Milk for cereal was left out in gallon jug and was warm. Not much variety to choose from.
7.1 Good
Cons: Microwave doesnt work
7.9 Good
Pros: Nada
Cons: Looked like they were out of business. Had to register across the street at Days Inn.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The beds was very comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good in the room and Staff were great.
Cons: nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: The rate was really good. The room was clean - the linens were fresh and the bed was comfortable. We also appreciated the fridge, microwave, and DirectTV. Breakfast was adequate - carb heavy, but fine because we had plans for a long hike later in the day. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Location to Bryce Canyon was good and property was within walking distance to a small grocery store and the town’s “main drag”.
Cons: It feels wrong to complain when the rate is so low. Our expectations were met based on what we paid. For others interested in this property, I would like to point out a few things. As others have mentioned, the pictures on this listing do not match what the rooms actually looked like. In reality, the rooms were no better or worse than the pictures, just different! Additionally, any needs that cannot be met in your room have to be taken care of across the street at the Days Inn (i.e.: check-in, ice machine, breakfast, and communication with staff as there was no phone in the room) - for us this was no big deal as the “street” is neither very wide nor very busy and we didn’t mind the short walk. For others, this may prove to be more inconvenient or unmanageable. Again, the rate we paid was exceptionally low and the few flaws we noticed were too minor to mention. We needed an inexpensive, warm, clean bed to stay in for a single night and this place was fine for that. If you have slightly higher expectations or greater accessibility needs, the Days Inn rooms looked very nice and comfortable for approximately $25 more (at the time of our booking).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable.
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Guests upstairs were up late and very noisy.
7.3 Good
Pros: Aircon/heating was very quite and with a thermostat.which means we couldhold the room throughout the night cosy The mattrasses are very compfy.
6.3 Good
Pros: We did not expect breakfast with our stay but the lady at the Days Inn told us to come over in the morning for breakfast. It was a very nice breakfast. The staff was friendly
Cons: we were told and our receipt that we printed off at home, said that we would be staying at the Days Inn. When we checked in at Days Inn she said that we would be staying at the New Western across the street, she said they run that also.If you book on line that is where they send you (across 4 lanes of traffic). Very old motel that the sign out front all you could read was the word motel. The ice machine was surrounded by a big puddle of water so instead of crossing the highway to go back to Days Inn we just went over to the gas station for ice. Had we known we were not staying at the Days Inn we would not have booked it we would have stayed some where else.
6.7 Good
Pros: The facility was nice overall.
Cons: The general manager was horrible. I won a trip and my stay was paid for through them and since I didnt pay for it personally myself she treated us indifferent. I had to pay cash upfront the first night due to her not remembering that she spoke to them she even acted as if she wasn't the general manager. The facility was nice but customer service was horrible. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not stay here again. This is affiliated with the Days Inn as well.

Pros: Location. Price. Accepted large dogs. Did not charge my for my room. Had planned a 2 night stay. Checked out very early in the morning. They did offer to move me but it was after 10 and I was exhausted with 2 dogs.
Cons: I thought this was the cutest motel. My room small but comfortable. By 10 p.m found out that the toilet couldn't be used more than twice. Had to use the available plunger because someone knew there was a problem. But even with the plunger could not be used again. I had large beetles and flying bugs in the room and no switch plate on the plug.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Good location
Cons: Went into the office as I had a reservation and there was no one around but a door was open, so I started loudly saying HELLO... no one came; it took about 10 minutes and me shouting several times for someone to come help me! The room felt dirty.

Pros: Clean room, nice stuff. Very close to Red a d Bryce Canyon and to town where you can find groceries and restaurant. Very quite room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good value for money, clean and comfortable. Good location for entering Bryce Canyon Park in the morning. Easy check-in and check-out.
Cons: We stayed at another Rodeway Inn just over the border in Arizona for a slightly cheaper price and we were given a free breakfast (and a good one). This Rodeway Inn offered no breakfast. However, the gentleman at the front desk very kindly leant us a microwaveable bowl so we could make our own dinner and breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a simple place. No frills or extra amenities. Good location, especially coming from Salt Lake. Very clean. Decent bed.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was as expected.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, really good breakfast.
Cons: nothing, I would stay there again.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, good location away from town - I see this as a bonus. It is old and basic, but the price reflects that. I would rather support a small family business than a big motel chain. Very friendly family run business. If you want a cheap stay, no frills and don’t mind the old school rooms you will enjoy your stay.
Cons: Nothing
