Pros: I got a lot more than I paid for at Hotel Nikko. The room was comfy with great dimmable lighting, quiet AC, and clean. The staff was incredibly helpful- carrying shopping loot all the way from my taxi to my room, and generally available for any questions I had for them.
Cons: One pet peeve: a power outlet closer to the bed would have been nice, but this was not a problem.

Pros: Excellent service from Concierge and front desk staff. Convenient location to OCAT, JR Namba Station and local subway lines. Walking distance to Dotombori, Shimsaibashi, and other shopping streets. Good local restaurants in alley ways close by.

Pros: Good location for food and seeing the city. Not as convenient if you want to use Osaka as a base to see the surrounding cities. JR Osaka would be a better option. They also give you a mobile phone to use during your stay called “Handy”, allows you to use phone and wifi.
Cons: Rooms feel a bit old but it may be the style they are going for as they style the hotel in a European 18th century. Also rooms feel small but that may be the normal size for Japanese hotels.

Pros: Although the chapel on the 22nd floor was a little kitschy, the hotel was grand, clean, and had great views over the city.
Cons: It was difficult to find the entrance the first time. The is a subtle entrance where you take an elevator up to the main lobby on the 22nd floor.

Cons: The hotel is right above the train tracks, my room was in the 16 floor, the noise from train is constantly annoying almost all day except 12AM~5AM, when there are no trains.

Pros: Very new and clean. Rooms average to small for Japan standards but very comfortable. A/C very efficient. Hotel staff excellent. In hotel onsen is most enjoyed feature. Approx 5 min. walk to subway station. 5 minute cab ride (700Y) or free shuttle to Namba station. Looking forward to visit again.

Cons: Our air conditioner did not work. They called someone in but told us it the coldest it would get. We took them to our other family room and showed them how cold it was in that room. She said she'd talk to the manager and see if we could move. That was at 12:00 noon. We never heard from anyone that day or the next. So we left.

Pros: The staff at the front desk was very kind as everyone is in japan
Cons: The entire hotel smelled like bleach and smoke. The rooms were absolutely disgusting. Walls were stained, rooms smelled over bearing like bleach and cleaning products I had to leave early. The carpet smelled I felt dirty after leaving. None of the previous reviews held up to the facility. Like staying in a run down hospital. Will never book a hotel through kayak again. And I travel for work and pleasure very regularly. Might be the worst experiment at a "4 star hotel" I've experienced in my life

Pros: I liked the staff. They were very friendly and they do their best to accommodate you. The facilities were good and they have everything to meet your needs. Best of all, the hotel location is at the heart of the shopping district of Osaka.
Cons: It would be great if they had a bit of variety in their breakfast buffet. It would also be nicer if you can watch TV with an option to have English subtitles at the very least. They can also improve the wifi because the signal was very erratic. Other than those, everything was great and we had a wonderful stay.

Cons: This place was horrible! There was trash in my room and what looked like blood stains on the sheets! Then I saw the bed bugs!! So gross!! It was late at night so I asked for a new room instead of leaving which was what I really wanted to do! They put me in a Japanese style room which was only slightly better. Never again!!
