6.3 Good
Pros: The location was ideal
Cons: I should have read the description more carefully. This is a self catering apartment. There are no facilities on site whatsoever. That said, it should not be read as a negative but be prepared to drive somewhere for breakfast or anything else.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: No breakfast included. Location is a bit out of the way which did not bother me as i knew the area well.
Cons: The only i did not like was no microwave, i normally have porridge for breakfast but without cooking facilities i could not heat the required milk. I can understand why cooking facilities are not supplied as cooking smells would spoil the ambience of the room.

Just as the pictures. Tv in the room. Toiletries, tea, coffee, water, kettle, bathrobes all provided. Lovely surprise was the extra bed in the spacious room. Breakfast freshly prepared, full English, coffee, tea, toast, cereal options, fruit, juice etc! Perfect! Thanks for a lovely stay! I highly recommend this B&B.

Pros: Location and parking good. Food and room very good. Staff always friendly and helpful.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: All good
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely coach house - hearty food - spacious 5 bed room - friendly staff. What’s not to like?
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was larger than expected and it had a little separate space for tea and coffee making facilities. The beds were fresh and clean and comfortable. The pub downstairs was not too noisy, we had no trouble going to sleep. The staff were well informed, efficient and helpful even when they were short handed in the morning as someone rang in sick. We enjoyed a lovely quiet breakfast and paid for an evening meal in the pub too, local sausages were wonderful and the restaurant evening menu is very good also. I would highly recommend this place.
Cons: The room had a totally necessary door stop in it, and somehow we tripped on it twice. This is probably due to our clumsiness rather than anything else. But it was the only little niggle that we had, everything was great!
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Said they would waiver the cancellation fee but charged me anyway
4.6 Okay
Pros: The family room was a good size with a nice en-suite. Warm and comfortable. Tea and coffee with biscuits was a nice bonus. Fabulous power shower and complimentary toiletries.
Cons: You had to walk in through bar to get to room with cases when we checked in which wasn’t great with children and a full bar. The hotel is a bit dated and in need of some TLC. Doesn’t quite look as good as the pictures make the hotel out to be. I have to mention there was a storm the night we stayed. The wind rattled in through our bedroom window all night. When we went for breakfast the next morning we were told we couldn’t get a cooked breakfast as the oven wasn’t working and there was water pouring down the walls into the sockets. It was an accident waiting to happen!!! I know nobody can control the weather but we’ve stayed in establishments in worse weather and never experienced this before. Faulty Towers comes to mind! The lady ( not sure who she was as never introduced herself?) was apologetic and I did feel sorry for her as there were other guests also in the same situation. We were refunded some money for the inconvenience of not getting a cooked breakfast and only cereal and bread so luckily this meant we could buy breakfast elsewhere. I don’t like writing bad reviews but on this occasion I feel it is justified.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed, great location, lovely staff & amazing breakfast
5.0 Okay
Pros: Room was large and clean with plenty of room for us. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but good enough - could do with more fruit. Parking behind the hotel was very convenient, as was the location for Morpeth town centre.
Cons: We had the quadruple room - a bit tired on the whole. Bathroom was not in good condition. The shower had no pressure at all and difficult to regulate the water temperature. No hot water in the sink tap on two days, one of the days warm water did eventually come through after a few minutes. The toilet was crammed next to the radiator and towel rail, so couldn't use comfortably. The whole set up should be re done. The beds were ok. The double bed was small - a queen at best. All beds had plastic lining which made them a bit uncomfortable. Lastly, a nitpick, there were not enough plug points to charge phones etc.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Hotel was well placed for easy walking access to the town centre. Bar was fairly decent and appeared popular with the locals.
Cons: Decor in the room was very dated. No plug or hot water in bathroom sink. Wallpaper coming off the ceiling in the bathroom.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Staff friendly, comfortable bed
Cons: Couldn't turn shower off, gave up on Internet wifi as the room was in between 2 different wifi ones, bedrooms are tired and upstairs needs money spent
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location with private off road parking , very friendly and helpful staff good breakfast.
Cons: The corridors to the rooms are dark and a little tired.

Cons: Room was a little cold. Very little heat coming from the radiator.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Found the hotel to be lovely, very relaxing, with good facilities. Will definitely return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was always the leading hotel in this lovely town but had declined over the years. However, Alison and her staff has returned it to be a genuinely first class hotel catering for discerning guests, markedly different from the surfeit of "pubs with rooms" that are typical of the town. Very comfortable lounge Bar and open plan restaurant supported by a very capable young chef. Not fine dining but way up beyond "Pub Grub"
Cons: Not a thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel very cozy with friendly staff would definitely return ...x
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very hospitable owner happy to go the extra mile
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location and room were fab, lovely view from window and everything we needed was there in the room for us
Cons: Lots of steps to room with our cases, very noisy at night due to draughty windows and doors rattling, very loud noise comming through bathroom window seal when windy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was informed of the dinner menu as soon as I checked in. The Manager carried my heavy bag up to my room. The food was beautiful and very good value. The event in the evening was all organised and supported by the staff. I had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was of high quality and served on time. I had a nice none pressurised morning until I checked out ...
Cons: Everything was fine ...

Pros: breakfast was very nice staff nice lovely comfy clean bed and the towels.
Cons: Did not like the garden room cold and dark I spoke to the girl on our way out on Sunday no light on stone steps to our room very dangerous pitch black.i think the inner door could have a little lock on as the main door was very old gap in the bottom very loose lock.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Great atmosphere, with friendly staff and we had a good laugh with the locals.
Cons: The room was cold and you could not increase the heat as there was a single radiator which is poor as we visited in February, the bed was uncomfortable, I would say a new mattress was required the shower was useless no pressure at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed at the Turk's Head at the beginning of February during a foolish attempt to mountain bike over the Cheviots in rain and gale-force winds. My mate and I were absolutely covered in mud from head to toe when we arrived, as were our bikes - some places would've just told us to get lost, but not the staff at the Turk's Head. Instead, they gave us hot water and towels from the kitchen (these were disposed of afterwards!) to wash our bikes down ready for our next day of cycling, stored them in their shed and even washed our muddy clothes for us. Super friendly from start to finish and a very pleasant spot to have a few pints too. I'd definitely recommend the place if you need somewhere to stay in Rothbury.

6.7 Good
Pros: The bathroom was excellent. Lovely long bath, hot towel rail and plenty of hot water. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming.
Cons: The bedroom was dark, probably the curtains were half drawn for privacy but with wood furniture the effect was a dark room. Breakfast was very efficiently served but the sausages and tomatoes had obviously been waiting to go on a plate. The scrambled eggs were over cooked and the smoked salmon would have been better served on the side. The “Craster Kipper” was a fillet rather than a fresh kipper, it had a strange flavour and left an unpleasant aftertaste. The toast was thin and insubstantial.

Pros: on a scale 1---10 everything got a 10

7.0 Good
Pros: VERY good breakfast in a nice farmhouse which is set in a good rural setting. Our room which was in a different building was spacious but slightly old fashion with the décor, facilities, etc and had some noise intrusion from the rest of the house. staff very friendly.
Cons: Small improvements to our bed and bathroom needed for excellent rather than good review.

Pros: Lovely welcome cuppa in the guest sitting room. All the little extra comforts in the room e.g biscuits, fresh milk, binoculars. Lovely bathroom and shower accessories. Breakfast choice.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view from the breakfast table. Nice breakfast, cleanliness of room. Comfortable lounge. Pleasant staff.
Cons: Narrow roads with the occasional passing places to get to the b&b. Our room was a short walk from the main farm house where you went for breakfast. Our lounge was also remote from our room with a short walk to get there, not a problem for us but possibly could be for older people, especially when raining or in the dark. There was however a light to aid the short walk back to the room.
