The hotel has 2 excellent restaurants, free wifi and friendly attentive staff. It is close to good restaurants, cafes, art galleries and shops. We will definitely e back!

Pros: The remodel is AMAZING! It was a great place to stay before, but now it’s just incredible. The rooms are spacious and bright with new everything. The staff as always were friendly and helped guide us on many ways. We were there for a Rangers game and they won so that was a bonus. We can’t wait to go back!

Cons: The staff at the reception was unfriendly, we arrived around 13h and were said that the room was not going to be ready until 16h but they were going to try their best to have it ready before. We went for a walk and returned to the hotel around 15h40, the room was not ready yet and the staff at the reception at that precise moment was very disturbed with our question. We had to ask 3 times and finally got the keys at 16h30... On our check out day (check out time 12h) the cleaning staff called in our room at 9h30, they were back at 10h30 and at 11h, until we had to tell them that it was a check out and we wanted to stay until the end. A bit of coordination between the staff would have been appreciated and a friendlier reception staff too (it has been the worst in our Canadian holiday by far)

Pros: The room was lovely and we liked having a mini-kitchen. The staff behind the front desk was very knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations.
Cons: Going to the bar for a cup of coffee in the morning, I received cold coffee, which they did replace, but there was a lot of chaos there. Somebody came in to stock the alcohol for the bar, three other staff there, but it still took awhile. Then while drinking my coffee a supervisor came and was reprimanding those 3 staff people, instead of taking them to the back room to do it.

Pros: We loved the location and the staff. the room was spacious and trendy with a bedroom, bathroom, living room, a small kitchenette and a second pull down bed. This is a great spot for families. Pets are accepted (you probably need to make a prior arrangement.

Pros: The location is in the heart of Old Montreal (behind Notre Dame Cathedral) and the staff and amenities are top-notch. Beautiful clean room with a great bathroom, shower and bathtub. L'Occitaine products in the bathroom.Very comfortable King Bed with numerous pillows. A convenient kitchenette which was very handy. Super easy check-in and out. All in all a lovely 2-day getaway here was exactly what we were looking for, and the accommodation delivered. Just a really lovely place right where you want to be.

Me and my husband travel a lot and I mean a lot (few trips to Europe and several trips in US) and this was the friendliest staff we have ever experienced. Every single person, we tried to think about anyone who wasn’t and nope-they are all amazing. Our favorite was James (waiter at the restaurant) such nice and very knowledgeable gentleman.

Cons: The parking lot was really tight. This should come as a warning to those who drive a long vehicle, such as a Chevrolet Suburban, because, despite whatever turning radius, your vehicle may rub into a column and, in turn, can do extensive damage to the vehicle body.

Cons: The restaurant was terrible. My wife order chicken which was dry and tough and cold. I ordered the steak and it was cold. The veggies on both plates were not cooked enough, not al dente but raw. The cheese cake was barely unthawed and the creme brûlée was mediocre. One of our worst restaurant experiences in a long time.

Pros: Hubby gave me a two night stay at the Auberge du Vieux-Port in Montreal for a Christmas present. It couldn’t have been better. We arrived on a Monday and after a bit of difficulty finding a place to park, checked in. The hotel staff were simply amazing. Every one from the cleaning staff to the valet were probably the most accommodating and kind and gave the impression that they really liked their jobs. We were surprised with a room upgrade to a king river view on the fifth floor-#503-ask for it. Ultra clean, very comfy bed, coffee maker in room and good toiletries. A HUGE shower with multiple jets no tub though but that was fine with us. The hotel has a bar pub that serves up pub fare. I had an excellent burger and great thin fries and hubby had the fish and chips. Both were quite large portions and the staff cheerfully accommodated some changes and ommisions. The best part is that the hotel is located centrally in Vieux-Port Port and between Isle de la Commune road and the famous and beautiful Rue St Paul. Fabulous restaurants and shops made it difficult to choose. Parking is off site and costs 25$ per night to self park or $35 for valet parking in a covered garage. We loved every minute in spite of the bone jarring cold and snow.....it just made it more magical. We will definitely be back!

Cons: The lofts- I was informed via email following my prepayment of my three night stay- doesn't include daily housekeeping. This isn't the biggest issue, but there's no going down to the lobby for breakfast- the lofts are in a separate building.
On the upside, the room is more like a large studio apartment. The room is well appointed and the kitchen is thoughtfully and thoroughly stocked. Though there is no minim-bar or snacks, there is a full-size frig, stove, cookware, etc.,etc.
Overall, it's an excellent value.

Cons: The breakfast area is always crowded after 8 am. Parking is not cheap with tax at $36 a day with in and out privilege. The swimming pool is so small you cannot really swim in it.

Pros: The hotel was great, nice rooms, great breakfast, close to major centres and walking distance form restauraunts. The staff are extremly friendly and understanding with English and French. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay.
Cons: The lighting in the rooms was a bit dark/hard to get all the lights on. The rooms is oddly laid out, a bit long and narrow.

Pros: We absolutely loved our King Suite . It was the perfect room for a romantic getaway. The highlight was the two tickets per night that allowed us to have two free drinks and access to the amazing open nacho+salsa, veggies and pretzels bar during 5pm-7pm our waiter Berney(ie?). We also loved the wonderful breakfast buffet. Omelettes made by the order. Room service was exquisite. The location was steps away from China town, malls and Notre same Basilac.

Cons: Toilet had urine stains from previous occupant, in room phone had issues dialing out and had to buy my own lysol wipes to clean. I learned later that this room was a complimentary upgrade however room was clearly not ready. No snacks available on first night which was okay until I realized it was supposed to be fully stocked. Fireplace produced no heat and jacuzzi tub had options for what looked like jets but did not work.

Pros: This is a good value hotel in a good location next to Chinatown and not too far from the main sites and things to do in Montreal. The staff on front desk really friendly and permitted early check in. Pastry's and cereals offered for breakfast which was a good start to the day. We ate at the hotel restaurant which was well priced, with good portion sizes and good offer of local food.

Pros: The location was great. Each place I wanted to visit was walking distance. However, I am from NY and love to walk. Also, the room size was nice, bathroom was very cute. Would recommend this hotel due to conveniency of the location.

Cons: Not sure if this was issue with the room, or another factor however this room did seem to generate a lot of static and did get a few shocks throughout the stay.

Cons: Terribly small room for the price. Advertised a hot breakfast. Breakfast was sub par. Even for a continental breakfast. Parking should be included in the price.

Cons: The staff used mannerisms/smiled, however, it wasn't sincere. While eating breakfast, workers started cleaning, they sprayed cleaner by where I was eating, making the air smell & my food taste like cleaning products. Also, short staffed when checking
