Montreal hotels near Basilique Saint-Patrick

Pros: The hotel is in perfect location what is the most important when we travel. Bed was comfy, our room and other spaces clean, food tasty and the staff...The staff was AMAZING! Me and my husband travel a lot and I mean a lot (few trips to Europe and several trips in US) and this was the friendliest staff we have ever experienced. Every single person, we tried to think about anyone who wasn’t and nope-they are all amazing. Our favorite was James (waiter at the restaurant) such nice and very knowledgeable gentleman. Will definitely come back!!!

Pros: The hotel has such a wonderful interior as is such a statement-setting glass exterior. The suite was very spacious and comfortable for the best night's sleep. Modern-day aesthetic has been very pleasant to see! The staff have been very attentive to my needs and have gone the extra mile to save my life as a DJ by providing me a cable that I had forgotten -- usually, the cable is not something you would easily "whip out of a storage room."

Pros: Easy checkin/checkout. Able to put a bottle of wine for us in the room ahead of time.

Pros: My wife and I stayed at Hotel Zero for the Mutek festival and we could not have had a better stay. The service was excellent with and early check in and flexible check out. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Montreal

Pros: The hotel was in a great location, we didn't have to drive anywhere, a tip- valet parking is $26 or one street over it was $9 all day/night underground.. staff was very friendly and rooms where pretty clean (just don't use the dishes provided, I used a glass and left it in the sink and after the cleaner left in the morning the dirty cup was put back on the shelf with the clean ones with coffee still in the bottom and there was no soap to wash it myself) Only complaints, we stayed for 4 days and for the first 2 we didn't have a key to our room because the door wasn't working, so we had to have staff take us upstairs every time we came in. The breakfast was terrible, don't waste $10 on hard muffins,apples and begals. And the walls were a little thin, we could hear the room beside us talking and coughing. All in all we have stayed in pretty bad hotels but this doesnt make the list and we wouldn't not recommend it.

Pros: • Hotel was in walking distance of most attractions (Chinatown, Old Montreal, Complexe Desjardins, metro) but not in the center of the hustle and bustle of downtown • Decor was modern and visually interesting • Was comfortable to stay in for multiple nights • Beautiful terrace to enjoy

Pros: The cleanliness right down to the carpet was apparent. Many hotels use carpet past its prime...not this hotel.

Pros: I feel that for the price that I paid the rooms need to be renovated I've stayed in Montreal at other hotels much much better for less money

Pros: Location was close to the convention center, the arts district, and the shoppoing as well. It was close tot he bus and train routes but did not try these. The view was good enough. Wi fi was free with membership. The location is on top of a mall. The room had a fridge for small items. The staff was helpful and couteous. The rooms were quiet. Elevator wait was short. Pool is 8 feet and workout room was adequate.

Pros: The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Shops and restaurants are very close by. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.

Pros: I liked that the Hyatt was centralized to all locations in Montreal. It was walking distance to Downtown Montreal and walking distance to old Montreal. The Hyatt was a close walking distance to the metro as well.

Pros: I was traveling through Montreal, stopped downtown and decided to stay, this was the best value hotel downtown, excellent staff, great location. I'm staying here the next time I visit.

Pros: Beautiful fireplaces, as well as the best Amaretto Sour I've ever had in my LIFE. The hotel itself is very, very beautiful, and the staff are really great, especially Maria at the front desk!

Pros: The location is great, museums, old montreal, notre damme, mcgill, train station, restaurants, everything at a reasonable walking distance, breakfast is a very good buffet.

Pros: The bed was comfortable and we had what we needed except a table to sit at would have made the experience better. VerygkAd to have had a refrigerator. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the very close proximity of Eggspectation restaurant where they have an outstanding breakfast menu.

Pros: Close to everything. Shoppping, old town, Chinatown, food court, metro. We were able to do it all with young kids in tow. Room was a little small but we were barely in there. Lobby is large lively and fun.

Pros: I loved the ultra modern style and comfort of the Hyatt Regency at the Complexe Des Jardins in Montreal. The shops and central location were magnificent!

Pros: (1) Location was excellent (2) Parking rates were reasonable (3) Breakfast Buffet Good (4) Female staff at front desk very friendly and helpful, more than males (5) I'm vegetarian, the cook prepared nice surprised meal for my milestone birthday dinner. (6) After 4 days I finally got to eat Waffle, only after I inquire/requested, one the male waitress really went out of the way to make sure I get to eat it.

Pros: The staff was very professional and friendly. We were greeted & assisted by the valet upon arrival. He was clean, courteous & prompt. The elevator and lobby were clean, welcoming and friendly. Check in was a breeze. Upon arrival in our room---we found the accommodations exactly as advertised...new comfortable beds, view of the city, and typically in-room amenities.

Pros: Like the hotel room and the fact that they us get a room with a view after waiting a little bit.

Pros: The pool and convenience to downtown are big pluses at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Quiet rooms. We hope to come back again.

Pros: Incredibly close to the Bell Center. Easy access in and out of the city. Roof top gardens and pool. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Staff was also friendly and helpful.

Pros: Our room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Although we had heard some concerns about night time noise, the hotel was quiet during our stay. The pool was lovely as ever, and a hot tub has been added since our last stay. The water temperature was just right in both pool and hot tub. Lockers for your clothes are free. The exercise room is nice. The duck pond was fun to watch.

Pros: Unique experience superior location kind and helpful staff. Asked for a room with great view in quiet location and this was delivered. We arrived early and our bags were cared for and again the next day after checkout. It was an experience to swim and hottub on a roof top and see ducks swimming in a pond with large spruce trees outside while eating great breakfast buffet the next morning again on a roof top. Took someone special to Montreal for her 77th birthday and she was so impressed with our stay, the staff and the facilities that we have decided to make an annual event.

Pros: Hotel has a good location. Close to old port area - 15 min walk, and some nightlife. Good pool. Nice lobby. Room was comfortable and clean.

Pros: The Bonaventure is a rather unusual hotel, built in a very late 20th century modern style on the top 2 floors of an office/convention center building. Its rooms are laid out in a ring, surrounding a center lobby area with a bar and restaurant, year-round outdoor heated pool and hot tub, and a pond with ducks. Rooms are sleek and modern in a 1960-70s way, but comfortable and updated with firm beds and very nicely sized bathrooms. The rooms are very quiet, The ring layout means that there is minimal hallway noise and the hotel is high enough and with thick enough windows that there is almost no street noise (and many rooms face inner courtyards instead of the street). Staff and service are friendly and efficient, without being intrusive. Bonaventure isn't super-deluxe, but it is a welcoming, calming, and unique experience.
