Cons: What I did not like about the hotel, it was filthy and smelled of stale smoke. I also did not get the non smoking room or a the king size bed I paid for. I used an entire container of lysol wipes to clean the room. The wipe were unacceptably filthy

Cons: Needs new mattresses. Would have liked access to hot tub later in the evening. We were there for a trade show and didn't get back until the gates were locked.

Cons: This is not great. Bed linens had hair on them, as did the towels and washrags. The shower had mold in it.Lots of late night noise. Seems like a sex and drug scene and would NOT recommend that anyone ever stay here.

Cons: The only real down sides were that the parking was extremely tight, the bed was a bit hard and the towels were kind of scratchy. With all that being said , I would still come back.

Pros: A traveler can always tell the difference between a Motel by it's Ownership / Management. This particular Long Beach Motel has great ownership and goes out of their way to accommodate their guest and provide great services. I arrived at this Motel 6 at 10:30 am on a Saturday along with many other young people. For me, I was escaping 118 temperatures in Inland cities and want to spend a night/day near the cooler Ocean temps, while I observed many younger guest arriving ahead of an all day Hip-Hop Concert. Despite a 11:00 check-out (12:00 if you as for late checkout) and a 1:00 pm Check-in service, the ownership was working with all guest to allow an early check-in process and provide room keys with the instruction to arrive back to your assigned rooms after 2:00 pm. This seem to work perfectly with everyone, since the younger kids headed to the Noon start of their Concert and for My and my buddy to head to a local Sport Venue to catch a World Cup Game. The Rooms were very clean and comfortable (as I've experience with all remolded Motel 6's) and despite the mix of Guest clientele (young and older) at night it was quiet to allow for a good night sleep.

Cons: Parking is a little tight, but it's workable. Also, the area of the Hotel is on the fringe of tougher neighborhoods, but the Hotel rooms and parking lot is within an enclosed area so it's safe and well controlled by the ownership / management. I would stay here again without concern.

Cons: Yes, I did not like that there were dead roaches in my bathroom. They switched me to another room. My daughter inspected the room befor I went in and found live insects/bugs crawling along side the bed frame of the floor along with bug droppings. GROSS!

Cons: Room was dirty. The floors had obviously not been swept, let alone mopped, in quite some time. The tub had a soap dish with a bunch of caked on soap and fingerprints in the build up on the shower walls. Not enough room light or windows.

Cons: The walls were very thin and their maintenance crew made a lot of noise very early in the morning. Since the location is next to Pacific Coast Highway, we could hear trucks rolling by all night.

The bathroom: The shower head had 10% flow. Had to call the front desk to come take a look. He swapped out the head, which I was thankful for. The towels should have been in a hazmat container and I'm not entirely sure what was growing around the sink. TV was old a blurry and the floors were dirty. Please avoid this place. You'll be thankful that you did.

Cons: Upon opening the door, there was an immediate stench and could not figure out if it was from the AC or the carpet, and it was constant. The towels were like sandpaper. Aside from that, it was clean and quiet and walking distance to good Cambodian food. I really wasn't expecting much, and I didn't need the room for very long, but I do feel it was a bit overpriced.

Not to mention the bugs EVERYWHERE and hotwheel sized roached EVERYWHERE, and the most sketchy individuals EVERYWHERE, and that is my childhood neighborhood.. it is a breeding ground for roaches, drug deals, and the most rude people I have ever met. We have done nothing but be the most polite we could be. they on the other hand? I feel, feed off of anger and suffering, Do not bring your children here. they will eat their souls.

The staff was TERRIBLE, it’s a little family owned motel run by a bunch of dirty and CHEAP indians, very rude and IMPOSSIBLE to understand, come checkout time they tried to charge an extra $90 for a couple minutes we took to get our stuff out, then they tried to keep our cleaning products, like they literally had to walk us to the closet where they keep all they’re cleaning products when we asked for ours. THIS MOTEL SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.

Cons: Staff was a little less than cordial, definitely not personable. There wasn't a fridge in the room. WiFi connection was poor. Beds were rickety and old. There is no fan in the shower area. TV remote did not function properly. The bathtub was slippery with no foot mat for it while taking a shower. The room location was right next to a construction site, we were woken up earlier than we would have liked. The pool has algae growing in it. We will NOT be staying here again and will advise others against staying here until these issues are addressed.

Cons: The parking was inadequate to say the least. The flooring in the bathroom was coming up in several places. The beds were VERY loud, so not great when you're trying not to wake up everyone else in the room when you move any bit. The breakfast, while I didn't expect much, was even worse then expected. There was only apples, bananas, some prepackaged danishes, mini super sweet chocolate chip muffins, 2 types of cereal in some plastic storage containers to pour from, and then the breakfast drink in a fountain drink style machine. The pool was unheated, not that I really expected it to be, and for some reason, you weren't allowed to get back to your room, after going in the pool, using the elevator. The walls of the hallway had air pockets in the paint. It seemed like it needed a renovation about 10+ years ago and they're still putting it off. Windows don't really do much to keep out sound or air. The AC never got the room cool at night even when we had it at 60° the entire stay. The elevator was very janky and made weird noises as it slowly moved. There were so many things wrong, I'm sure I'm forgetting many.
Also, while I was there, someone came out of the elevator smoking a lit cigarette which made the elevator just a cloud of smoke. I have asthma and smoke highly affects me and I was shocked. I braved the elevator with my shirt over my face and trying to hold my breath as long as possible since I was on the top floor and wasn't able to take the stairs. I then went straight to my room to call the front desk so they could do something about it, and the line was busy. I assumed it was still busy down there seeing as I just came from there, so waited a few minutes and tried again, and got the same thing. I tried a few more times over the next 15-20 minutes and it was a busy tone the whole time. I could see the front desk from my room's window and so I checked to see if it was really that busy right then, and it looked empty other than the worker behind the desk. I saw the guy there not on the phone and had called right before and after I looked out the window and still got nothing. As it was already almost 10 and my friends had already gone to bed; I couldn't keep calling the front desk. When I told them in the morning at check out, they basically said that there is nothing they can do about what people choose to do when they know they're not supposed to do said thing. Maybe they could've if they'd picked up the phone and not left it off the hook. They had video camera too. This seems neglectful of them.
I will not be going back for many reasons and do not recommend to others.

Cons: We had parking, but they parked cars 3 rows of cars perpendicular to my car about 1 foot away. The hotel lobby person was smoking a cigarette when we checked in. The whole place and room smelt like smoke. Our Room was by the elevator. The elevator would creak loudly every time someone would ride it. The hotel would shake, rattle, and boom every 30 minutes from 10:30pm to around 3:ooam. The telephone in the room was disconnected and didnt work. The other guests were loud, rambunctious, and playing electric guitars in the hotel as well as in the parking lot from 12am-430am. The toilet ran all night long and the AC unit in the morning would make a "fix me now" sound. The carpet was ripped to shred, the linens were itchy and the pillow cases were coarse.

When checking out they told me to pay and I explained I already paid through booking.com and they insisted i hadn’t made any payment and I needed to pay now. I was in a hurry to get to the airport and my banking app was not working and had to make payment to checkout. Property is definitely not worth this cost! Their customer service is so poor both at the property and via email. Wouldn’t recommend.

Cons: I found a used condom and 4 unused ones in a drawer my gfs saw them and thought they were mine and caused problems I told the staff and they removed I told the maid to be more observant and check the drawers when cleaning it caused a fight in my relationship and she laughed

Pros: For the most part is was clean. Needed cleaning around the windows. Just very old definitely needs a make over.
Cons: Stuff was broken. Graffiti around the room. Bathroom door was broken and wouldn't close.
