Cons: Easy access to Mid end shopping. Next door to entry local market of food and stuff.

Cons: Small confined room, small single beds in double room definitely not luxury Hard mattress. Rooms closed to elevators constantly smell of cooking. Bathroom is getting outdated

Cons: I really wanna love this place but it is much different than few years ago when it was Langham Hotel. Room had mildew smell and sagging mattress caused me back pain :(

Cons: Not much. It's large but has the amenities available to a hotel such as concierge (he was terrific) and laundry service.

Cons: (1) given the handicapped room. The basin was too low for washing (2) The second day after the room cleaning of room 765, 2 women’s underwear were found (3) room 755 had bloodstain on the beige bed underskirt. (4) only one elevator worked as the other one under maintenance- major waits and inconvenience as had to wait a couple of trips due to it being full (5) cockroach in the elevator near the pool (6) the green clean room special only offered $50 hkd on the buffet... nothing else.

Cons: sound insulation of the rooms; average internet speed; lots of local eatleries but few medium to higher level restaurants; not much view outside the window.

Cons: Not enough A/C outlets for iPhone iPad and other gadgets. I was surprised hotel is charging for using wifi. I've used the gym and ashes to sign in before they gave me a towel.

Cons: I booked through Kayak and the various sub-providers associated with Kayak, finally I was given a room with no-wifi included in the rate. Today, wifi is like drinking water, even this hotel provides complementary drinking water, so why on earth do you still think that you can extort people with additional wifi charges? This is a disgrace. As a matter of principle I would never stay at hotel that charges extra fro wifi. The service costs next to nothing and it is an essential utility. No hotel would think of charging extra for electricity or the use of the toilet, so why do you charge for wifi??? Shame on you Regal Hotel, you are a dinosaur...

Cons: This hotel is obviously appropriate for business travelers only. The hotel has 3-4 restaurants and none contain any reasonably priced food (and that is using reasonable in the loosest manner possible). For instance, the cheapest entree at the China Coast American Grill is a burger and fries costing 238 HK Dollars or $34 US Dollars. When i asked the front desk clerk and a waiter about where i could find a reasonably priced restaurant, they both laughed at me and told me to go back to the airport. Further, our room was not clean with random hairs found in locations throughout the room, a tub that was obviously not recently cleaned and one of two available electrical outlets in the room possessing a mysterious stain. Also we had to switch to a second room because our tub would not drain. Also, none of the benefits are included in the room. Unlike many Southeast Asia hotels, a guest must pay for wifi and to use the health club. Maybe this is no issue for a business traveler staying there on a corporate expense account, but for anyone else, it invokes the natural question of how this hotel ever garnered these skytrax awards for being the best airport hotel. This airport hotel has a mediocre staff, somewhat unclean rooms, and a pricing system designed to nickel and dime guests once they arrive. It may be an acceptable airport hotel by some standards but it is far from the best in my humble opinion.

Cons: Rooms were clean, but nothing special. You pay for the convenience of being able to stay at the airport. The hotel room was clean, and reminded me of a main line hotel chain in the US.

Cons: the tub plug device was not connected and required ME to pull it out to drain tub form taking a shower. unacceptable especially for $250 us per night. Tub was dirty prior to me. Only one electrical plug in room. In the day and age of rechargeable items one plug . I do not want to case down a power strip or have to call for something that should already exist. Will not return

Cons: The room conditions were moldy and wet. The carpet was so wet I had to wear shoes. The room smelled musty and moldy. The humidity in the room was so bad it warped my passport book. When I called to report it, they sent someone immediately, but when the house keeper came they wanted to know when I was checking out so they could take care of it then. Nobody offered a different room, or to at least clean it on the spot. The entire floor, carpet, was soaked. It was clearly a leak and they didn't care to deal with it.

Cons: The facilities come across as a little old. A renovation is due. And a sports bar with EPL games on.

Cons: This was a solid choice overall. I would rate it at the 4 star level rather than 5 star though given the room and facilities. It lacked the touch of luxury (products, design, nice showers) at other 5 star hotels.

Cons: The hotel needs restoration badly. I had to move rooms after check in because the room I was given smelled like mold. Second room wasn’t much cleaner, but didn’t have a moldy smell. Not worth it for the balcony, it’s nothing like the picture on here.

Cons: For about $200 a night, the facility is a bit out of date.

Cons: transportation not good. Schedule for Shuttle bus to nearest shopping area is not good. The first of the schedule is 10:30am and at times is full and we had to take a bus or taxi. But then the next one is scheduled at 12:00 noon (1.5 hr later). Last on the schedule is at 9:15pm.

Cons: Safe in the room didn't work at all, and looked like it had been tampered with Small lobby with a ton of bags left by other guests, with minimal security and the bags out in the open Toilet was chipped and cracked Shower door didn't close fully, and the hot water took forever to come out Overall, pretty shabby decor and facilities for the price paid. I'd recommend Lanson Place Hotel over the Regal for any business travellers.

Cons: First off we booked for 10/21-23 and my email confirmarion and screen shot of booking all confirmed this. When we went to check in , they told us that booking was for 11/4-6. I showed them the confirmation then they told us we needed to take the issue up with kayak. After arguing for 3 hours(i dont give up) they finally gave us the room. The hotel is NOT a 5 star (1star) and the pictures are MISLEADING. Theoughout the stay the staff was awful. The hotel is also filled with mainlanders which makes it extremely noisy and crowded. Avoid avoid avoid. I couldnt take another day so in the end I booked the shangri-la.

Cons: Great location very near the metro and next toVictoria park. Also next to Ding Tai Fung.
