Ho Chi Minh City hotels in Tan Phu District

Pros: Didn’t like anything, was a horrible experience

Cons: The rooms were dirty, my son found a scab on bed, electricity points were dodgy, mini bar didn’t work so lost $50 worth of food. Air con barely worked, we booked a family room and was given two seperate rooms. No amenities in rooms. When asked for spoons and knife & plates was laughed at and felt humiliated. No sheets on beds just underlay. Heavy smell of smoke in both rooms. Shower barely worked and felt like bath you had to stand in for shower was going to fall through the floor. Hard to find and taxi ripped us off. Pool was advertised and was main reason for booking- NO POOL, description on booking.com deceitful and full of lies. Most electricity points in both rooms not working and taped together. Bathrooms were filthy. All locks on bathroom doors broken and big gap between door and frame on one of the bedrooms. Whole hotel noisy at all hours and close to airport with planes flying overhead night and day. No mention of this in ad. Really disgusting hotel. Don’t book if you value your life. Was meant to stay two nights but left after the first, couldn’t stand it. Walls also mouldy and curtains barely existed.
