7.9 Good
Pros: Clean and tidy, nice service, kitchen open 24hr, very good location, quiet, good coffee.
Cons: Blankets too small, lack of decorations in the room, breakfast sellection was only ok, room looks like bunker, minimalism
5.0 Okay
Pros: Very close to the railway station via under-passage. Good breakfast buffet.
Cons: The indoor air wasn't good, it was somehow very dry and the radiator in our room wasn't working properly. We were freezing at night and the radiator was totally off - a staff member came with pliers to turn it on - and after that it was full on heat. There was also a dangerous design fault in our room : the bathroom door and room door can lock together - so that no one gets in the room even with keys. This would be extremely dangerous in case of fire or other emergency. The staff helped, but acted like broken radiators and interlocking doors were the visitor's fault!

Pros: Excellent location, super clean room and reasonable price, an OK value for money
Cons: bed was not fixed so it continued moving. sometimes noise is coming in the room. breakfast was way too basic. waiters really do not know when and how to attend the hotel guests.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Room was comfortable and big enough. Breakfast was very good. You can get extra bread and coffee if needed. Staff was very friendly. Bar and restaurant were very good: loads of choises, nice place to sit, good food and prices were good. The terrace is heated, so even when it's a cold night you could sit outside. There are no parking spaces close to the hotel but for €10 you can rent a garage box. Location is great! Right at the beginning of the shopping street. Overall, very good hotel and value for money.
Cons: The room was not completely clean, there was still some dust laying around. There is no lift, so be ready to do a lot of stairs when you sleep on the third floor.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic breakfast - all freshly cooked - eggs, bacon, lovely croissants, yogurts etc.
Cons: Our room, Vanilla was warm, without air-conditioning.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We booked this hotel because it was advertised as having electric vehicle charging facilities. Which it did but was extremely surprised that we were charged €10 for using the charging facilities. This is the first time I was ever charged in a hotel for using their charging facilities. At the very most it might have cost the hotel €1 for the amount of electricity I would have used. We also paid extra for our room with air conditioning. I would only come back to this hotel if no other property was available.
Cons: It was clean and the activist was very good.

Pros: The person on the reception: friendly and very helpfull. the bedroom super nice and cosy.

Pros: Nice Hotel, comfy and elegant in the downtown. Outside a lot of various type of restaurant.
Cons: The lady at the front desk during my check-out: a blonde girl wearing glasses, named TASHA. She is so unpolite and rude with the customers, I pay good money to have an acceptable service. I believe if the Hotel will fire her, everything will become much better.

Pros: The hotel is very nice and the rooms too. I just had a small problem with the heating at night. I couldn't get the temperature down and it was too hot in the room. Also there might be a bit more light at the mirror of the bathroom. But apart from these things, everything is great. It's not the first time that I book this hotel and I will repeat. The breakfast is also very nice!!

Cons: Mosquitoes in the night.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Nice little hotel ok for short stay
Cons: Location a little out of way to gent and hessel also got bit by mosquitoes all night would have being good to have tea facilities in rooms
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast!
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and we even got a care food package the night before we left as we had to leave at 6 AM to make our flight in Brussels and breakfast didn't start until 8 AM. There were a few minor electrical problems with the key card and light in the bathroom, which were taken care of right away (and never reoccurred). There is not always a person at the check-in desk as the hotel also operates a fantastic restaurant. You need patience. Because of this popular restaurant, parking may become a problem during busy hours. Another draw-back is that there is no elevator and you have to climb steep steps either indoors or outside the building if you return to the hotel after the restaurant closes. Would we go back next time we visit Belgium? Probably.
Cons: No elevator and the room was rather small for the large bed. Made it tough to store and use suitcases. Housecleaning could also do a better job.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast.

6.3 Good
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Persons not so friendly, too much money for this
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing features
Cons: Odd the cleaner came in uninvited and continued to clean up whilst we were watching a film in front of us. Had to ask him to leave which was weird.
6.3 Good
Pros: The room was set-up in a very smart way, with all of the wellness facilities nicely integrated and decorated with good taste. It is really a very nice concept to privately relax / weekend away at your own pace. The breakfast was really nice and fresh - lovely to get that delivered to your room at a time of choice. Location was easy and very peaceful area Parking facilities We signed up for optional massage which was just superb !
Cons: The room was not cleaned well, some areas were dusty - just some extra vacuum cleaning of the floor would have made a huge difference . The dining chairs were damaged- they need replacement. We found it really unfortunate because otherwise this place would have received a 8+ score Maybe ? It was because the owners were away and have a temp staff managing the B&B, this has happened ? Although she was polite and helpful, she did not offer us a warm welcome - it was clear that “her heart was not into it” - like one would expect at a B&B

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was quiet and comfortable. The owner "Johan" is excellent and answered all our concerns. We was available any time day or night. The breakfast was very good and he serves so much good food and is good in the kitchen Endless coffee! Mussels? Vogelsanck!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were welcomed by the owner with a couple of ice-cold beers after a long day travelling, we were then shown to our room and asked when we would like breakfast the next day. Breakfast was exactly what we needed, with a selection of cold meats and cheese, fresh bread, fruit, juices and bacon/eggs cooked to order! The host was then very attentive to our needs and printed out all the local bus times for where we were heading and even designed a cycle route for us to travel to the nearby Genk. I would 100% return to this BnB due to the friendliness of the owner as well as the great facilities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Host was very welcoming and helpful. Room was very comfortable and breakfasts excellent. 10 minute walk into town. Highly recommend staying here.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place with a really cozy feel, lovely breakfast. Johann the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable, giving us helpful advice on what to see and do in the area. He also went above and beyond when we had a motoring mishap on our last day. Many thanks, johann for sorting things out for us.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Johan is extremely friendly and welcoming, and cooks THE MOST AMAZING breakfasts I've ever had at a bnb, my god. He was understanding and helpful and gave us lots of good advice for what to do in town, and since we were the first guests to arrive he gave us our pick of the whole house. The room itself was perfect---compact and cozy, but with a huge tub that I really needed after a long day of walking. The bed was also really big and comfortable! My husband accidentally gave Johan an extra 50 euros when we paid at the end of our stay, and Johan was really great about transferring us the money back after we'd already left. What an honest guy! I wish we had more reasons to come to Hasselt!
Cons: Leaving and having to cook breakfast for myself again.

Pros: Super comfortable large bed, beautiful open windows with bathtub to enjoy a relaxing evening, or the sun coming up in the morning. the breakfast is nice and you can tell they run a quality restaurant when your two eggs come out tasting full of flavor and plate nicely decorated!
Cons: Checking in and out is a little strange as it's the same enterance as the restaurant, but they come to greet you so quickly, and on the check out the chef/owner was so kind and helpful to direct us, so it's really not a negative all in all. The stripped wall paint in the room seems strange to me, but also didn't matter to the experience.

Pros: Great breakfast and amazing dinner

Pros: Bacon & eggs were really special. Room was beautifully decorated.
Cons: There was a lack of clothes hooks, for example for wet coats & towels.

Pros: confortable beds, good and various breakfast, good location, the restaurant has a very good and fresh food.
Cons: The mini bar is empty, you have to fill it from reception. The furniture needs an update. We handn't bathrobe to use for swimingpool, not even towels.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the position
Cons: The fitness centre, the spa, the hairdryer, i think for 144€ you should expect more in 2020.
7.9 Good
Pros: Superb
Cons: too hot in the room
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is in a very good location, few minutes walk from the center. Employees have been very helpful and accommodating. Very good variety and quality of breakfast
Cons: The hotel rooms condition is old and in some cases not well maintained. In our room both airco and shower were not functioning. As a result the room was so warm in the middle of winter (we were there end of January) that we couldn’t sleep even with the window hof open! The shower had no pressure at all and only cold water was coming through which made it super uncomfortable showering for ourselves but also dor our two little kids. Next morning we reported those issues and requested for another room. Pur request was accommodated and we got a room where everything was functioning good. So kudos to the receptionist hearing us out and actually doing something about it but Holiday Inn really needs to invest some money to renovate their hotel rooms. It’s about time as they are stuck back to ‘90s...old and very used with stains on the floor carpet and everything....
6.0 Good
Pros: The staff was very nice and helpful. The room is a good size and the location is convenient. The wellness centre (swimming pool, sauna and gym) are free but are not well done (see the comments below) and need renovation. The hotel is currently being renovated so hopefully the wellness area will also be redone. The room service for breakfast was really good and the service in the restaurant was excellent (the food was pretty basic though).
Cons: The beds were not comfortable and the room really needed renovation (currently undergoing). The room had a fire alarm with a light, which was blinking all night long. The room and the bathroom were very cold. The noise from the renovation started at around 9.00 am on a Saturday. The spa area was not well done - only one shower; no separate area to shower or cool down after the sauna; swimming pool is very small and the whole area was very cold. The underground parking entrance was really tight and the tariff is 16 euros (regardless of the time spent in the parking). We had a problem when trying to exit because our ticket (which we had paid at the reception) was not accepted by the machine and the barrier did not open. After turning around several times in the parking, going back to the reception, which could not help, and looking for a way to contact somebody responsible for the parking, we tried again and it worked this time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and helpful staff both at the reception and at the restaurant. Comfortable family room. Great pillows. Amazing breakfast.
Cons: On 2nd floor in family room it’s nice to have curtains on a bathtub. Friends on 3rd floor had newer bathroom. But that hasn’t changed our preception of a great stay.
6.7 Good
Cons: Room was very cold. Temperature setup was not working

6.7 Good
Pros: Close to town center
Cons: Room was no smoking but smelled of smoke, probably someone was smoking in another room and it passed through the ventilation system. There was no soap in the shower dispenser, but it's white so I could not notice it until I was already wet. Frustrating experience. The single bed cover was super small, really difficult to stay covered all night if you move a bit.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location is nice!! The hotel was quiet and clean , simple hotel!! There is a lot of space for suitcases. In addition, there are enough towels and hairdryer.
Cons: They should tell you more clearly that if you forget bathroom things , they can give you for free. If there was a fridge, it would be better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness of reception staff. Asistance with parking.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location and facilities. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are good.
Cons: Thicker quilt would have been nice given the time of year. 4 sachets if coffee and creamer would have been better than just 2 a day.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Property itself was OK with good value for money. Overall we didn't spend too much time in the hotel as we arrived late at night, immediately went to bed and left directly in the morning.
Cons: The staff during check-in (John) was very unfriendly, sometimes even arrogant. He spoke to us in a highly unprofessional matter ("ha, that's no proof, everyone can show me something like that!" when he couldn't find our booking in the system and I showed him the booking confirmation). He also addressed us inappropriately (e.g. "Menneke"). We really didn't feel welcomed at the property.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good value for your money. The hotel is in the heart of the city of Hasselt. The room was quiet (which I asked for in advance and received a notification from) and breakfast was very good. The personnel was very hospitable and gave good suggestions on my questions and new the local parking situation (which saved me a lot of mo money, so when arriving by car please ask!). Also I forgot my toothpaste, but that was something they could solve. Sounds like a no brainer to many 'die hard hotel visitors' but to me this made a difference. Also the personnel at the breakfast room were very kind.
Cons: Only small point of attention are the squeaking doors. Mine was noisy in the bathroom (not neighbor friendly) and also that one of my neighbor. A bit of oil makes the difference. But that is something easy to be solved. Good personnel and a good room where top, so highly recommended.
