Cons: One thing when we arrived, the hotel didn't seem to have our booking which you should have confirmed with them, its not the fact that this was not done by yourselves, but the fact was, what if they did not have a room for us, but luckily they did, so we were disappointed in your service.. You will have to take that up with the hotel themselves in this matter. They said that our booking reference was not from their website & that we should have confirmed this ourselves, but why should we if we have it down in black & white that it was confirmed by booking.com

Cons: Everything was perfect, except for the price. We did think it was quite expensive for what we received. Sure it was a lovely hotel, but we've stayed in nicer for cheaper, with a better view even. However, it was booked last minute so may have been cheaper if booked sooner.

Cons: The entry process to the house was horrible. First of all I was unaware that there would not be someone present to unlock the door, I pictured someone sitting at a desk to give you a key. I emailed what time I would be in and they said there was nothing further I had to do. Well we got there and no one was there to greet us. We waited for an hr and rang the doorbell multiple times. A couple leaving the house kindly called the owner and got the housekeeper to unlock the doors. She was apologetic and kind. Otherwise the room was very nice. Need to improve communications.

Cons: When we arrived the door and siding metal door were locked. We waited outside in the street for 10 minutes until we realized there was an intercom but it could only be reached by reaching through the bars of the gated door. Finally, we were able to reach it and wait until someone let us in. There is no outside light so when returning at night it's very dark at the door.

Cons: The location is great being so central to Temple Bar area, but this was also a negative as it was incredibly noisy during the night from revellers inn nearby pubs and clubs until 5am in the morning and then even in the morning with a lot of building activity. So you would need a good drink to sleep through! Which is a shame because we would certainly stay again if it was not for this, sometimes location can be a blessing and a curse! The shower doesn't get you very wet either and so a newer model would fit the rest of the property a lot better.

Cons: We were told that breakfast would be included. However, we did not know until after check-in that the breakfast is not on the property and the hours would not work with our travel itinerary. The person who checked us in said that the place for breakfast, Panem Cafe, does not open until 9:30 AM on Saturday. This time is stated on the voucher as well. We needed to leave by 8:30 AM to the airport. She mentioned that we could ask the owner to refund that portion of amount we paid. When I emailed to find out if we could have a refund for the amount of the breakfast, I was declined and told by Matt that the restaurant opens at 8:00 AM daily, and he did not know who told us that. I emailed a response that it was the young woman who checked us in, also it states the 9:30 AM time on the voucher, but he never replied. Therefore, we paid extra for a 3 course menu for two people that we never received and will not receive compensation.

The staff at that reception informed us about the mistake and wished us good luck thus we were sceptical how the right accommodation would be. We were positively surprised by the nice and modern design of the Temple Bar Inn. Staff was really friendly and helpful. We forgot our plug converter and got two from the front desk without having to pay deposit. There was complimentary coffe/tea and biscuits in the lobby.

Doors seem very heavy and tight, they always give a loud noise every time being closed. That noise lasted throgh the first night, at the frequency of half an hour! I don't know who doesn't need to sleep at night, going in and out repeatedly. On the second night, a woman and a man were talking loudly(in the yard next to the reception) even at 2-4 o'clock AM!!!

Pros: At first we mistook the Temple Bar Hotel for The Temple Bar Inn. The staff at that reception informed us about the mistake and wished us good luck thus we were sceptical how the right accommodation would be. We were positively surprised by the nice and modern design of the Temple Bar Inn. Staff was really friendly and helpful. We forgot our plug converter and got two from the front desk without having to pay deposit. There was complimentary coffe/tea and biscuits in the lobby.
Cons: I missed some shelves/drawers in the room for our clothes. The water pressure in the shower was weak but this seems to be an overall issue in Ireland as that was the case in most accommodations (B&Bs) we stayed in. The price for the double room from Thursday to Friday without breakfast was quite high in my opinion but maybe that's because of Dublin and the central Location of the Temple Bar Inn.

Cons: For two days the cleaner forgot to refill the toilet paper, in the end we had to go and ask for some at the reception. Getting to the room from the main entrance took FOREVER. Even though we were on the first floor, we had to walk up and down two separate flights of stairs and go through approximately 5 closed doors (great when you're coming with luggage...) and several long corridors. The double bed only had one large duvet, we would have preferred two. The sound isolation wasn't great, we could hear our neighbors watching TV late at night.

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at The Morgan! We could not have had a better location or staff for our honeymoon in Dublin. Our check in was not until 3pm, we arrived at 9am and they gave us a room right away without any complications. When we got to our room our room key was not working, we notified staff and they not only tried to remedy the problem right away but without hesitation they moved us to a different room. They actually upgraded us at no additional charge. We got complimentary drinks at the bar and the bar staff was extraordinary! They took care of us and made sure our stay was nothing but Perfect! If we ever get a chance to come back to Dublin we will definitely be coming to stay at The Morgan!

Cons: we booked a deluxe double room and paid £400 for 2 nights room only and the room we were given i wouldn't have stayed in for half the price, it was shockingly small, had a double bed and a single bed at the end of it that you had to climb over to get to the other side of the double, it was horrendous. we were moved to another room which was much better but no where near the standard i expected. I would have put it at a decent standard room, no where near a deluxe room. It was super noisy at night but you do expect that and the complimentary ear plugs came in very handy so that was fine but still very disappointed in the room.

Cons: The corridors were filled with empty bottles and glasses at 3 pm, nobody cleaned those until evening. The location was ugly- lots on demolition works around everywhere you look and lots of construction noise outside, no view whatsoever- only ruins of buildings. Hotel has put some computers and printers dowstairs so you could print out your boarding passes BUT those computers were so secured which means the computer denied almost every operation you needed to do to print something out. Absolutely useless option. Prices for breakfast and accommodation are too high for the quality offered.

The other thing was the plump pillows, they were all plump and I like a flatter pillow to sleep on. Not a major problem but perhaps if the bottom pillow was a little flatter it would be ideal.

Additionally, if looking at total costs we stayed 3 nights at the hotel and parking at the local car park cost 75 euros for this period. I suggest the hotel attempt to strike some deal with local car parks or get more space in the underground car park at the hotel.

Cons: tha maldron is more expensive than its amenities suggest. the room I was booked in was small & had no view (the window literally opened onto a tiny concrete plot. they did not provide washcloths & the shower is weirdly designed (you have to step fully inside to turn it on, and with the fixed head, this means you're going to get blasted with cold water to start your morning). if this is a business trip & you just need a place to sleep, it's perfectly fine, but if you want to spend the same value for a plush hotel room with some space and a view of at least a city street, i'd recommend someplace else.

Cons: We didn’t know that there was an old part to the hotel and a newer refurbished part. We were put in the old part which has no access to the rooms via the elevator, only stairs! We were also on the front of the building so it was extremely noisy through the ancient rickety windows at night and in the morning, especially as there is no air conditioning or a fan so we had to have a window open to stay cool. We got no sleep as a result! For the price we paid we expected better! Also, at check in we stood at the desk and the receptionist didn’t even look up from her screen to acknowledge us for a few minutes. Eventually when she did she tried to find other people to help us even though there were no other guests waiting! We thought it was very rude.

If you are commuting from airport Take a Airlink-757 and get down at Charlotte Way(Last stop of the bus). from there it is just 200 meters, a taxi usually charges around 30 to 40 Euro. The staff is very friendly and they have storage available free of cost for luggage if you arrive early. There are two types of rooms available 1. Common dorm rooms and 2. separate double bed room. There is a single a kitchen on the premises and with all the necessary utensils and cutlery. The only condition is to wash your used plates and utensils.

Cons: The one thing we find difficult was the room size, it was so small that when we opened our single medium size suitcase there was no space left. Also, we got a night club facing room so when we opened our room window for ventilation and some fresh air we were not able to sleep first night due to continuous loud music till approx 3AM. However, we find this place excellent in terms of location, staff and value for money. You get to meet a lot of people from different countries. Lastly, keep in mind this is a hostel not a hotel so expect the service accordingly and based on what you pay.

Cons: The bathroom was very out-dated. The tub was chipped in many places. The shower head was very high up and almost facing the wall, but it was too high to reach to fix it. The sink had a hot water faucet with its own spout and a cold water faucet with it’s own spout, making washing up extremely difficult!! Also there was a vent that came on when the bathroom door was opened and it blew the shower curtain into the tub, so it would stick on my body while i was in the shower, which is kind of gross.

Pros: The location was perfect for our visit to temple bar, the bar in the hotel was lively and fun and the breakfast was excellent value for money, we arrived about an hour before we could check in but the reception staff were very good and changed a couple of our rooms to ones that were available so at least we could drop our belongings.

Cons: Had to wait one hour for a shower to become available and it was freezing. Stairs very dirty. Paint chipped lino floor in room stained. I paid 96 euro for a room which was fine but had to go back to reception for a towel for 2 euro.

Cons: I got a room for 4 people. And the room was really really small, we could only stay one person standing at a time. There were no lockers in the bedroom, which normally are in hostels. The toilets were not too bad, but there were only few of them.

Cons: This place was disgusting! The room was dirty, the bathroom smelled moldy and the carpet was so nasty, we were afraid to walk on it without shoes. Additionally, we almost got stuck in the lift because it was broken, but no one bothered to put up a sign! We were there for 3 days, and it was broken the entire time we stayed there. We never saw any maintenance people even attempting to repair it. This place was not family friendly as indicated!!

Cons: The nightclub let's it down, it is every night and starts late afternoon for happy hour, and goes on until 4am. Heavy security for obvious reasons and you get stopped when going in, so didn't get much sleep. Shame its not restricted to certain nights can understand it at weekends! Unfortunately aimed at students and young people.

Cons: VERY NOISY! Radiator was jammed full on so room was boiling. Bed was massively uncomfortable with very bad mattress. Hotel had a bad smell. Has a bar/night club that was noisy from when I checked in (17.30) until past 01.00hrs. Reception staff unfriendly on check out. Room was very old, bathroom was cracked and old, taps were faulty, shower was awful.
I travel frequently and have stayed in a lot of hotels worldwide and this was a shocker for a European hotel - will not be back!
