Excellent 10.0
Pros: Bernadette and Andrew were incredibly sweet and very welcoming. They thought of everything and were very accommodating. Strongly recommend if you like that personal experience and having a place that doesn’t feel so much like a hotel. We sure did!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hosts provide such amazing personal attention from check-in to a customized breakfast in the morning. Room was clean and comfortable. Great location, only a few minutes from the airport and close to a great pub and shopping center. Will stay here anytime we're in Dublin!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location is very convenient for the Dublin airport and easily walkable to village of Swords. Hosts were very welcoming and gave us valuable information about the surrounding area and suggestions for restaurants and pubs. Accomodations were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We needed to leave prior to the usual breakfast time and the hosts agreed to serve us early. Highly recommend!!

Pros: Loved everything and had my own wee room with breakfast waiting which was ideal as needed to leave at 6:45am. Beautiful room and with a visit from the black lab which I'm always happy to see dogs. What a beautiful cottage. They are very considerate by asking all residents to be quiet for each other and this is stated everywhere.
Cons: Unfortunately, the person staying above me wasn't as considerate and quashed my pleasant stay with the amount of noise that they made, it was constant, I only wish I had remembered to bring my noise cancelling headphones to dull out their noise. This is not any fault of the cottage just individuals who don't understand courtesy that when you are above a room to be considerate, it's not hard, but sadly selfish, thoughtless people exist and this isn't ideal when I'm not sleeping particularly well due to being pregnant and trying not to be hormonal and money.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely little place, tucked away down a little lane. Perfect for a short trip to Dublin. Tastefully decorated. Lovely rooms and a warm welcome. We only stayed for the first night of our tour of Ireland, but what a lovely place to start it!
Excellent 9.5
Pros: Lovely place to stay, great facilities and lovely little extras with the snacks on arrival. Breakfast was cool in the walk in cupboard and we were lucky enough the weather was nice and we could sit outside. Was our second time we stayed, first time it was for my dad’s birthday and they went over and above to have lovely decorations in the room on arrival and a box of chocolates. Would definitely stay again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location for me was great - 10 min drive away from where I was working and 5 mins away from a shopping centre which has places to eat. Continental Breakfast was all ready in my room on arrival - such a great idea doing it that way! and plenty of options as well.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.5
Pros: We LOVED the facilities. The owners took care to think of everything we could have needed. The continental breakfast included was amazing! The bed was comfortable. Quiet and cozy. Close to the airport too. The owners were easy to work with and very responsive. We were thrilled with our experience and would highly recommend them.
Cons: The only thing we weren't thrilled about was the hour bus ride to city centre or €32 taxi ride (25 minutes).
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I booked this stay as a need to stay somewhere last year (In 2017) but quickly changed my view when I saw how amazing this cottage is! My friend and I were greeted immediately and before talking Business was offered tea, coffee, or champagne. After receiving the tea, he sat down with us and outlined all the restaurants and bars in the area to try and ones to stay away from since it was a holiday. On top of the holiday there was a rugby match going on so it would have been hard to find a place to sit down and eat or have a beer. I was very satisfied with my service and given the opportunity to stay in Dublin again I would choose this in a heartbeat. Thank you rose cottage!!!
Cons: There was nothing in control of the cottage that was in satisfied with the weather is another comment.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This place was adorable and spotless They had fresh danishes yogurt oatmeal and bread with Nutella as well as fresh fruit in our room for breakfast the next morning I definitely recommend this rental Awesome
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Our host, Dan, exlemplified the term. This was our first day in Ireland, and we felt utterly lost. Dan reached out to us before our plane even left home, asking when he might expect us. We had an email dialog that helped us use the public transportation system to reach the B&B. He let us drop our luggage off and explore Dublin while waiting for check-in time, then showed us the best bus routes to take. In the morning, he cooked up a great Irish breakfast for us to get our day started. About the bed, we took it for granted. It was a nice, comfortable mattress, which we wished we had for the next two weeks. It seems comfortable beds are not common in Europe and the UK, so it was a real luxury to have had our first night after a full day of travel at Rose Cottage.
Cons: It is a bit outside of Dublin center, so the bus ride takes about an hour...if there is not a hurling match happening.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Quiet, convenient location. 10 minute drive to the airport. Beautiful decor! The breakfast was amazing. The owner was very kind and helpful. Very clean, comfortable bed. Cute little patio space in the back that I truly enjoyed. We really loved it here!
Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Dan greeted us the first night and really set a positive vibe as he was so friendly and helpful with Pub options. Rose Cottage was first class all the way. The continental Breakfast that is left in your room each evening is an exceptional idea. Great selection of fruit, cereal and pastries. Coffee in french press was excellent.Kettle for tea was a hit with Connie. This style of breakfast was so helpful in allowing us to eat according to our schedule. Fantastic idea !! Finally, proximity and access to airport is literally a 10 min drive and is so easy to find. Superb B&B, Thanks John snd Connie Ottawa Canada
Cons: Was a little tricky to find. Possibly include in email instructions that you take a left at both round abouts at far end of the park. Other than that , exceptional !!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This place is fantastic! Stunning interior design, great kitchenette well stocked with fresh juice, milk and fruit, and the bathrooms were immaculate and gorgeous... Best place we stayed in our 6 weeks in Ireland, hands down.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Rose Cottage was perfect for our overnight stay before flying out of Dublin the next morning. The location is outstanding – 10 minutes to the Dublin Airport (which accommodates early departures)! Dominika was extremely welcoming and helpful. She had provided very detailed directions to help us find the cottage … (a blessing in itself). Rose Cottage is a hidden jewel ….quiet, convenient, and updated beautiful decor!

Pros: Moira was amazing! Very personable and engaging.
Cons: Be sure to bring ear plugs if you have an early morning, I could hear every word spoken in the room behind me up until midnight.
Excellent 10.0

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great hostess. Great breakfasts. Easy to/from the airport and easy to/from downtown Dublin (all on the same bus #16). I would definitely stay again. As a matter of fact I canceled the place I was going to stay at in Dublin on my way back out of Ireland and booked this place instead since it is so perfect.
Cons: It was a joy to stay here.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Exceeded our expectations in quality & attention to detail.
Cons: There is nothing I did not like about the property, our room, the host nor the location.

Excellent 10.0

Cons: I truly loved every single thing
Excellent 9.3
Pros: Until I stayed here I thought all beds in Ireland were hard with springs digging into your back. This one was plush and comfortable. The shower also the best pressure and volume. The full Irish breakfast was perfect before a long flight.
Cons: Our room faced the road so was a little noisy in the morning. But we had to be up at7 anyway.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very quiet, exceedingly comfortable, perfect location to get into city or to airport.

Pros: Spotless ensuite facilities. Sky lights. Hosts helpfulness in calling taxi for early morning departure. Ability to take a bit of breakfast on our own because we had to leave before breakfast hours began.
Cons: No stands for placing suitcases. No closet — hooks are fine for a short stay, but for a longer stay, hanging space for clothes is insufficient.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was nice, comfortable and exceptionally clean. Guests also have the use of the back garden which is also lovely. The breakfasts are excellent.
Cons: There was nothing not to like.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The lady was very friendly and helpful, room clean comfortable and location great for airport

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very helpful and accommodating owner?
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was spotlessly clean. The room was very comfortable and quiet and I slept really well. Breakfast was exactly what I like. Owners very welcoming, professional and helpful
Cons: I liked everything
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We wanted a quiet location close to the airport so that we could return our rental car easily. This BnB is a 4KM drive to the airport car rental locations with simple road access. Also used the site to visit tourist spots north of Dublin. There are pubs, a McDonalds and starbucks within walking distance. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Wifi a little weak in our room but good enough.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Rose was the ultimate hostess. She made us feel welcome immediately. Gave us excellent recommendations on getting in and out of Dublin on public transportation thus avoiding the necessity of driving. She was a great resource. Would definitely stay there again.
Cons: Nothing
Good 6.8
Pros: Very good location for Dublin Airport. Welcoming hostess. Good breakfast. Remodeled kitchen was impressive. Breakfast server was courteous.
Cons: Price reflects Airport proximity, i.e, average price € 110/room. Room small but adequate for 2. Stairs were difficult for me, a senior(80+) with heavy luggage. We had to leave luggage downstairs and take clothes out of luggage and carry up to room.

Pros: It was clean, modern and had air conditioning (in a country with very few hotels or B&Bs with A/C). The shuttle bus ran regularly and on time. It's very convenient to the airport.
Cons: The bathroom needs upgrading. The shower/bathtub is awkwardly shaped and the curtain sticks to you. Also, they need fans in the bathrooms to extract the humidity.
Excellent 9.5
Pros: The beds were very comfortable and the free shuttle was a big bonus.
Cons: I have nothing bad to say.
Excellent 9.5
Pros: The breakfast was good, convenient location upstairs near our room. The location was also convenient being that our flight came in around 1AM so it was a close trip to the hotel to check in. Great decor! Very inviting and chic. Friendly staff- accommodating with late check in.
Cons: There was mold in the shower - it needed to be cleaned.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was spacious and a nice soft bed. Our early departure required a wake up call at 4.30am which was processed at the correct time. The shuttle bus service at 5.00am was a great help for us to catch our early morning flight.
Cons: Not much
Excellent 10.0

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Modern hotel with old world feel. Beautiful exterior once inside the car park courtyard. Great location to Main Street in Swords, easy 5 minute walk on a sidewalk. Nice bar and restaurant. Good 6.5
Pros: Convenient to the airport and it has air conditioning.

Excellent 8.8
Pros: Comfortable bed, clean shower and much quieter on Monday night compared to Friday night.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Very comfortable bed and good shower.
Cons: A bit noisy from pub below on Friday night.
Good 6.3
Pros: Close to airport
Cons: There was a big rat outside my bedroom window There was no parking I had to pay separate for parking in a public car park
Good 7.0
Pros: The location was good, right on the main street, near the airport and literally just a block away from Swords castle. The bar downstairs was nice as well. The room looked nice and was clean.
Cons: The room was WAY too hot, even though we didn't turn the heat on at all. We slept with the windows open but were still too warm. The pillows were flat (though I experienced that pretty much everywhere in Ireland).
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Rooms were clean and food was great. Great central location in swords and great shopping centre nearby..
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: Nothing, left within 3 mins and booked in somewhere else.
Cons: It was supposed to be a Double room, it was more like a single room with a Double bed squished in.
Good 7.5
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful
Cons: Noise from the street at nigjt
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved the location which is in the heart of Swords. Also everyone was very friendly, helpful and considerate. Overnight off-site parking was inexpensive in the outdoor lot near the hotel (Forster Way Car Park). We had a very nice dinner in the pub and a refreshing and comfortable stay our night there.
Cons: Everything was fine!
Excellent 9.3
Pros: The hotel was just what you would expect. A perfectly acceptable basic room with a kettle and coffee/tea. The bathroom was spacious enough to be comfortable and the shower was fine. There was no aircon but a fan was provided that did the job well. It was in the middle of the main street and therefore handy to buses. Only 30 minutes to Dublin City. There was a large shopping complex in walking distance. The hotel meals were nice and not expensive. It was close to the airport for our early morning flight out.
Excellent 9.5
Pros: Bed was great and very comfortable Rooms are not that big but everything you need Staff were great
Cons: 3 stations on TV Could be more
Okay 5.5
Pros: Location
Cons: Our room was very hot and when you opened the windows to let in some air cigarette smoke came in. Our room was situated over a smoking courtyard from the same hotel/pub and all the cigarette smoke came in the window into our room. Cannot understand how on earth you can have a smoking courtyard underneath hotel rooms fro non smokers. Hotel is on the main st which is very central however they could not help with any parking for guests. we had to pay meter parking until the net day.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was clean and peaceful - far, far nicer than what I had expected to get for the price I paid - and the staff were exceedingly nice! The pub downstairs had a very friendly atmosphere, too.
Cons: I wish my stay had been longer!

Mediocre 3.0
Cons: I booked double room, I got twin room, reception staff told me sorry, we are fully booked.Corridors filthy dirty, room dark, small, I didn't feel good at all.I didn't want to stay, Ivwas ready to check out on arrive. Thanks to my partner, he make me stay there next 6 hours till morning. When we check out next morning 9.august reception lady was rude, faces what she made, and dirty looks what she gave it to us, poor insecurity. She let us pay for parking over night stay ,but gate from parking was open, we realised later. We stay in Crown Plaza night before, was same parking space ,we didn't pay. Definitely choose Crown Plaza, if you want to stay in this location.Dont waste your money, to stay in Holiday In Express.

Okay 4.0
Pros: The free airport shuttle.
Cons: My room was 80 degrees and didn't get much cooler. I realize most (perhaps even all) business in Ireland don't feel like they need a/c when the island stays cool. However, in a fourth story hotel room that has been baked by the sun all day, you either need to have a/c or windows that open more than an inch to cool the room. It took an hour and 3 requests to get a couple of tiny, tabletop fans. The staff at the desk and the porter were very unhelpful. I had just wanted to spend a night resting between flights, but that didn't happen. I should have spent my money elsewhere.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Close to the airport
Cons: Restaurant is the a fast food kind, but helpful staff. Really old hotel with no lift.
Okay 5.8
Pros: It was easy to get to the car rental return early in the morning.
Cons: It is cheap and close to the airport so my expectations were low, but it did not meet them. There was a miasma of chemical scent masking what smelled like mold hours later. The shower experience was sketchy; somehow scalding hot and freezing cold water managed to come out in the same stream.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast was good. Staff were great!
Cons: There were lots of itinerants(?) in the bar / restaurant and they were very loud. There were lots of itinerants at both entrances to the hotel - intimidating. They were singing outside until after 10pm.
Good 7.1
Pros: Close to the airport.
Cons: Walls are paper thin. We didn't have anyone in the room next to us, yet we could clearly hear the couple two rooms away.
Good 6.8
Pros: Location wise is it a perfect place to choose however, it is very expensive to 3-star hotel
Cons: Some staffs I dealt with could not understand me. We were asked if we were part of the refugee's group at the restaurant
Good 7.5
Pros: The stay was arranged at short notice, the staff were very accommodating and the room met expectations.
Excellent 8.0
Cons: I would think extra security was required on the evening if our stay
Okay 5.0
Pros: There was no air conditioning in room . V hot room . Food in restaurant was of a v poor standard - returned it & could not eat it . Price was v v expensive & was not value for money . We had to pay to use shuttle bus & this should have been included in price .
Cons: Hot room , high price , very poor quality food .
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: Staff was welcoming and friendly
Cons: THE ROOM SMELLED MOULDY. VERY OLD NOT REALLY. CLEAN. WEIRD GROUPS. OF. TEENS OUTSIDE IN FRONT OF THE WINDOW PRETTY LOUD
