Excellent 10.0
Pros: Bernadette and Andrew were incredibly sweet and very welcoming. They thought of everything and were very accommodating. Strongly recommend if you like that personal experience and having a place that doesn’t feel so much like a hotel. We sure did!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hosts provide such amazing personal attention from check-in to a customized breakfast in the morning. Room was clean and comfortable. Great location, only a few minutes from the airport and close to a great pub and shopping center. Will stay here anytime we're in Dublin!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location is very convenient for the Dublin airport and easily walkable to village of Swords. Hosts were very welcoming and gave us valuable information about the surrounding area and suggestions for restaurants and pubs. Accomodations were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We needed to leave prior to the usual breakfast time and the hosts agreed to serve us early. Highly recommend!!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was beautiful and well stocked. Loved the idea of the continental breakfast already in the room so no need to meet others timetable. Grocery store and restaurant in walking distance. Owner incredibly helpful. Great experience!!
Cons: The ability to get ice.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved our room at Rose Cottage - it is perfectly located near to the airport and felt like a small haven on our night before leaving Ireland. The layout of the room was quite lovely and the small kitchen area was set up with food and treats to enjoy so that we could make it out for our flight. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful - we had a major issue (quite out of anyone's control) just before leaving and they went absolutely above and beyond to ensure that our morning went smoothly and we made it to the airport on time.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: It was the nicest accommodation I’ve stayed in for some time.Rose cottage was so comfy and luxurious. Everything was thought of. I would highly recommend it
Excellent 10.0
Pros: They provide you with killer TV, very modern bathroom, and the perfect breakfast to be out the door to the airport in a hurry.
Cons: Only thing I’d like is a top sheet. Might be an American thing.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Lovely room with all the amenities required. Food provided for breakfast was great. Very handy location to Dublin airport.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We stayed our first night in Ireland here after an evening arrival at the airport and before driving out to the west coast. It was a wonderful stay, start to finish. The rooms are so thoughtfully planned, and had everything we might've needed and more (umbrellas to borrow! makeup remover! orange juice and fresh milk in the mini-fridge!). There's a nice walking path just outside the cottage, too - we went for a long walk in the morning before we hit the road.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A continental breakfast was provided that included coffee/tea, juice, yogurt, cereal, fruit, pastries, cheese and a variety of snacks that was great. A charming cottage on the outside revealed a luxurious and up to date room that catered to your every need and more. A wonderful bathroom with great water pressure, instant hot water and large shower with everything (shower gel, shampoo, & conditioner) you could possibly need brought this room to an excellence beyond a 10+ rating. All the details were there. We thoroughly enjoyed the room in The Rose Cottage. Plus the location was extremely good for access to Dublin airport and downtown Swords. The proprietor was wonderful, answered all our questions and was very helpful
Cons: Everything was great!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Our check in was perfect. We arrived by cab and was able to get into our room right away. We only there one night and wished it was more. We had to leave early for the airport so kept saying we wished we could take our time and enjoy the beautiful breakfast that was there for us. Truly fantastic! Will definitely go again!
Cons: There was nothing really. A little far from everything but really that was not an issue as both of our cab drivers knew just where to go and drop us off and pick us up!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I booked this stay as a need to stay somewhere last year (In 2017) but quickly changed my view when I saw how amazing this cottage is! My friend and I were greeted immediately and before talking Business was offered tea, coffee, or champagne. After receiving the tea, he sat down with us and outlined all the restaurants and bars in the area to try and ones to stay away from since it was a holiday. On top of the holiday there was a rugby match going on so it would have been hard to find a place to sit down and eat or have a beer. I was very satisfied with my service and given the opportunity to stay in Dublin again I would choose this in a heartbeat. Thank you rose cottage!!!
Cons: There was nothing in control of the cottage that was in satisfied with the weather is another comment.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was gorgeous and comfortable
Cons: Wifi was a bit spotty
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Our host, Dan, exlemplified the term. This was our first day in Ireland, and we felt utterly lost. Dan reached out to us before our plane even left home, asking when he might expect us. We had an email dialog that helped us use the public transportation system to reach the B&B. He let us drop our luggage off and explore Dublin while waiting for check-in time, then showed us the best bus routes to take. In the morning, he cooked up a great Irish breakfast for us to get our day started. About the bed, we took it for granted. It was a nice, comfortable mattress, which we wished we had for the next two weeks. It seems comfortable beds are not common in Europe and the UK, so it was a real luxury to have had our first night after a full day of travel at Rose Cottage.
Cons: It is a bit outside of Dublin center, so the bus ride takes about an hour...if there is not a hurling match happening.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Wonderful room; excellent decor. The owner was very helpful in all ways and provided us recommendations that led to the most fun night of our 2-week stay in Ireland.
Cons: No complaints or suggestions.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely hotel, very comfortable with a great bar and restaurant. The transport to the airport was a nice touch.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The bathrooms were super nice and the beds comfy. The shuttle bus to and from the airport was of great convenience. The breakfast was magnificent, a wide range of choices. The hosts were quite friendly and the overall experience was fantastic
Cons: Got confused with the booking process especially when selecting options like breakfast. Had to cancel my initial booking and rebooked which was a bit of a hustle. If there was a way one could amend the initial booking to add extras such as breakfast etc that would be great otherwise our stay was great.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location
Excellent 10.0

Cons: Room service quality of food was poor.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Wonderful selection & service at breakfast. Staff very friendly.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was amazing. We checked in early in the morning due to a delayed flight and the manager gave us free breakfast because we were only staying the room a short time and because we looked very tired. It made a huge difference.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room is superb
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Spacious room, nice bar and restaurant, friendly staff and great shuttle bus
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Everything very well Very nice staff very funny very kind Dany
Good 6.5
Pros: Resturant was convenient and food was good. Pillows were very comfortable.
Cons: Like many European hotels the american amenities were lacking, unfortunately we weren't carrying basics as the stay was last minute and unplanned, the ability to shower would've gone a long way. TV channels were very basic (maybe 20?) and at least half were not in English. But it beat spending the night in the airport for sure.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great place to stay near the airport with complimentary shuttle service.
Cons: Not a lot to do near hotel.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great room Great breakfast
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Good bed nice staff
Cons: Had no water in t room had no milk stain on pillow
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Near the airport, a few minutes drive away from howth and malahide, the room was spacious and comfortable.
Cons: No free parking for guests. That would have been awesome
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Possibly the safest choice if you need to stay near the airport for whatever reason. If gigantic hotels with lots of amenities and comfort are your thing, you will be in heaven. Great bar with food till late, very spacious and clean rooms. Free shuttle bus to airport every 20-30 minutes!
Excellent 9.2
Cons: Leaving hotel at5am no warningsign and steped into mucky puddle beside outrer exit door
Excellent 9.2
Pros: We stayed there years before, this time the decorations and comfort was much, much nicer
Cons: I like more italian food, my husband fancied more grilled food. It is a shame that you can't order both from different restaurants
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Easy airport access with shuttle bus.
Cons: Somewhat noisy because of arrival of other guests - notably aircraft crew. Parking was horrendous and there was almost no baggage carts in the parking area.

Excellent 8.8
Pros: Airport shuttle, breakfast to go as we had an early start.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Breakfast is all the same at every location. It would pay to come up with a new menu
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.5
Pros: The breakfast was very good.
Cons: The pillows were flat.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: I arrived a lot earlier and the initial staff was not friendly. I went next door to the Carlton and staff was very accommodating. I checked in later to the Holiday Inn and morning staff was a lot better/friendly. The location is only good for one night.
Cons: The earlier male staff was not friendly.
Good 7.0
Pros: The breakfast was really good. Little disappointed in the size of the room.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Everything was okay, cleanliness and delicious breakfast included
Cons: -
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast area clean and comfortable
Cons: No wash cloths
Good 6.3
Cons: Front desk Staff weren't so friendly and even the bar staff are not that approachable... They don't even know how to smile...
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Location was excellent for access to Dublin Airport. There was a lovely park across the road if you were looking for a place to walk. The breakfast was good for a continental breakfast - there were some hot foods. Everything was fresh. The staff were helpful. There is a small bar in the hotel, but you also have access to the bar and restaurant next door. There was a free shuttle to the airport. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The 12:00 pm check out was a bonus.
Cons: Nothing really. Just note that if are driving and put Norwood Park, Santry into the GPS it doesn't take you to the hotel. You need to put in Swords rd, Santry.
Good 7.9
Pros: It's a lovely hotel and we would stay here again, but we found the room size a good bit too small for the price we paid. Jennifer at the reception was wonderful and made our check in a delightful experience but the staff in the morning was too robotic with customers. We realise that you have plenty of tourist staying here, but a bit of "Failte" feeling wouldn't go astray ;-) The shuttle bus was a great and highly appreciated service and we also appreciated very much the take away breakfast for early departing customers. Thank you.
Cons: Takeaway breakfast consisted out of blueberry muffin, Orange and joghurt. I am not very fond of muffins and blueberry flavour is my least favourite. An offer of a savoury sandwich like ham and cheese or just Cheese or ham sandwich would have been lovely. Just an idea..
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Breakfast was lovely , lots of options
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice location Close to airport and good access to Dublin . We stayed at beginning and then at end of our trip. Great choice.
Cons: Nothing...

Excellent 9.0
Pros: What a surprising hotel with superb facilities in Swords
Cons: No bottled water in the room
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Close to airport, BEAUTIFUL room, great food and very lovely staff!
Good 7.5
Pros: Location, restaurant on the ground level, staff
Cons: Smell in the corridor, dirty walls in the room and bathroom, bathroom facilities are rather poor quality
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great location in Dublin on 8 mins drive from the airport. Amazing food, breakfast was wonderful.
Good 7.9
Pros: Great location, short walk to shops and restaurants
Cons: The parking lot was loud (it was Saturday night) due to the bar downstairs, so noise could be an issue if your room faces that way.
Good 6.3
Pros: Proximity to airport
Cons: Service in bar/eating area was terrible. Waited way too long to be served, even moved seats in the hope someone would serve us, asked barman if we could order from him he advised not but would send someone to us, never happened, asked lounge girl to take food order she said no but would send someone to us, again didn't happen, had to approach girl running around with plates to ask for service. Paying bill took forever, barman on own st that end of pub & trying to take food Bill's....asked for pint of beer to be changed as glass dirty, visible lipstick marks, sneering between barmen about request one said to other " just give it back to her she wont know differnence" not realising I was standing right there....terrible I will never stay/ eat/ drink there again based on that.
Good 7.5
Pros: Location, free WiFi, parking space, room size
Cons: The room would require some TLC. You can see it is a bit worn out.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Loved the built in tea cozy; bed was comfy but I was exhausted; it was not great.
Cons: Would be nice if I didn't have to pass through smoke...looks like all Irishmen smoke!
Good 7.9
Pros: Music in the bar. Well priced dinner. Lovely staff.
Cons: No hot water for shower at night.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very friendly staff, confortable rooms, easy to get to Dublin by bus. Good value for money.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Been there several times before, that's why I keep going back.
Cons: Me
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Warm and friendly
Cons: Bathroom was outdated
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location! Loved this little town!
Cons: No problems
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Quiet
Cons: The Smell in bathroom. The shower taps broken.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean big and quiet room, it was more than my expecting. Taxi in midnight from Dublin airport only 10 euro (3 euro by bus). I could sleep well after 1 pint of Guinness, taste of home, next morning I enjoyed full Irish breakfast with a good coffee.
Cons: Nothing special, my flight was delayed and I called them to inform my delay due to check-in time. Unfortunately the call was not through, but finally I could manage to check-in with a friendly staff.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Did not eat breakfast there since left early. Beds comfy. Great location for Dublin airport departure. Restaurant/hotel staff good
Cons: Had handicapped room (which we did not need). Poor room design in general. Shower flooded bathroom...had to use towels on floor. Very poor lighting...one tiny light on ceiling over sink. 2 mirrors in bedroom without any lights near them. We stayed a second night in Swords, but booked another location.
Okay 5.4
Pros: Pub downstairs had good music.
Good 7.0
Pros: Good Location
Cons: It was very wet the night i stayed
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was clean and peaceful - far, far nicer than what I had expected to get for the price I paid - and the staff were exceedingly nice! The pub downstairs had a very friendly atmosphere, too.
Cons: I wish my stay had been longer!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic little establishment- cute, clean, and inexpensive. The staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful. After a long day of travel, it kind of felt like arriving home! It is the *perfect* place to stay whether on holiday or just on an extended airline layover, as I was -it was a very quick taxi ride from the airport and cost only €10. I only wished to have one more night -the village looked like a wonderful place to explore.
Cons: There was nothing to not Like.

Pros: Handy for the airport. Comfortable and clean.
Cons: Room was a little on the small side. I arrived late as I was flying into Dublin and it took a while to check in. Would have prefered it to be a bit more speedy as I was very tired.
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: Overall poor experience provided by the Hotel, very poor customer service to top off the below average facilties.
Cons: Mostly all of it, poor food in the bar/restaurant also
Good 7.1
Pros: The staff were really good, helpful in their information too. They explained about getting around the City, which number busses to catch, where to get off and so on. The chap on the desk in the morning was very good too, telling us about the shuttle bus and ensuring that we knew all about it, so that our journey onward was smooth.
Cons: The room has a box outside the bathroom, high up on the wall. It made a buzzing noise all the time were were there. I have no idea what it was for, but the buzz was loud enough to keep me awake all night. If we hadn't had an early start next morning we would have asked for a room change. The beds were rather small too.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The metro hotel met with all our needs for an over night stay food was excellent although because of the adverse weather that we experienced meant a few foods weren’t available due to deliveries..we had a very pleasant stay our room was very comfortable. And in the morning the shuttle bus
Cons: Nothing..
Okay 5.0
Pros: Dinner was excellent. Our waitress was very friendly. The shuttle to the airport was nice. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Heard street noice. Vent in bathroom could not be shut off. No outlet in the bathroom to dry my hair or outlet near a mirror. No hair dryer. Could not adjust heat in our room. Area not nice to walk around outside. Seemed unsafe. Security was at the entrance of the hotel. Cost for dinner & breakfast were expensive. Had to wait awhile for our shuttle to the airport even with signing up for the shuttle the night before.
Good 7.9
Pros: Room was so comfortable
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff very helpful. Rooms good size, beds very comfortable, well located to the airport and provision of airport shuttle bus appreciated.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: I was able to eat breakfast at the restaurant while waiting for my room (I arrived in early morning) and the staff were very knowledgeable and helped me make plans for my day (even looked up a few things on the web for me). The room was clean and comfortable. Took me a few minutes to realize that I needed to insert my room card to get the lights and outlets work (smile). Bus stop was right around the corner and went directly to the curt center on O’Connell St (beside the Post Offuce where you can still see the gullet holes from the 1916 “rebellion”).
Cons: It was not within easy walking distance to city center as I’d hoped and you need to have coins (no paper money) for the bus. Taxi cost me €18 to city center from hotel. Ouch!) Rhis however is not the hotels fault but just a “need to know”.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very clean and convenient
Cons: Restaurant service wasn’t great. Didn’t have the ingredients or the know how to make a drink on the menu and service was veeeery slow even through the weren’t busy.
Okay 4.0
Pros: The free airport shuttle.
Cons: My room was 80 degrees and didn't get much cooler. I realize most (perhaps even all) business in Ireland don't feel like they need a/c when the island stays cool. However, in a fourth story hotel room that has been baked by the sun all day, you either need to have a/c or windows that open more than an inch to cool the room. It took an hour and 3 requests to get a couple of tiny, tabletop fans. The staff at the desk and the porter were very unhelpful. I had just wanted to spend a night resting between flights, but that didn't happen. I should have spent my money elsewhere.
Excellent 9.2
Cons: Bar staff very slow

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very close to the airport, only about a 5 minute taxi ride. They have a nice breakfast provided with the room. Easy walk to a shopping area
Good 6.3
Pros: Parking and location. Free coffee and tea. 5 minutes drive from Dublin airport. Beware when turning into the hotel carpark, you have to cross a bus lane. We nearly crashed the car! A VAN undertook on the inside. He should not have been in the bus lane.
Cons: This is a budget airport hotel. My expectations were not high however the car park is in poor condition with large pot holes The pillows and bed line are of budget quality. A double 30amp plug socket had been removed from the wall and the bear wires were taped up. Extremely dangerous ! A simple blanking cover would remove the risk of electrocution. Plaster at the side of the bed was uneven and cracked. Carpets throughout the hotel were stained. This is a 80's hotel in need of a complete makeover. .
Excellent 8.3
Pros: We appreciate bathtub :) The room was beautiful and comfortable. We forgot that electric input are different, maybe it is good to have in the room these possibilities for European guests. Thanks.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Guesthouse accommodation close to the airport. A bit tired but a very comfortable bed. Clean and spacious. Breakfast available from very early and an efficient shuttle to the airport outside the gate for 3 euro each.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Location to Heathrow Airport.
Cons: N/A
Okay 4.6
Pros: Location was ok
Cons: I booked this place for two nights 1 at the start of our holidays and 1 at the end which I requested a early check in as our flight arrival was early .10 days in the car park cost € 7 per night On our 1st days arrival we waited about 10 to 15 minutes pressing a bell before anyone arrived at reception had to carry cases up to flights of stairs bed was small and room outdated breakfast in the morning didn’t consist of much For the shuttle bus you have to carry your cases and wait out by the side of the main rd which isn’t very nice when it’s raining When we came back after coming of a long haul flight and arriving at this establishment around 10 o’clock in the morning I rang the bell and was asked by a lady a bit rude what we wanted i asked was it possible to check in but was told bluntly check in was 15.00 I asked would it be possible to have a cup of coffee as we had been on along haul flight I was told everything was put away and there was plenty of cafes about Needless to say we put our bags in the car and just drove home and forfeited the price of the room Won’t be back there’s nicer places to stay with better facilities
Good 7.9
Pros: Very clean. Close to airport, mall, food.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice room for very little cost, needed it last minute. Was a nice evening after an unexpected flight delay. Breakfast was very good, bathroom and bedroom very clean and I was very comfortable
Cons: I liked everything. Nothing negative to report
Okay 5.0
Pros: The location near the airport was good. Shuttle bus services close and good and cheap.
Cons: The set up for guests requiring an early breakfast could have been a lot better! Not a great location to find an evening meal.

Cons: Value wasn't there for the price we paid
Okay 5.0
Pros: Location to the airport
Cons: The receptionist was rude and unhelpful I WILL NOT be using this hotel again.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Had a shuttle bus to airport and. A small diner. Sheets were clean.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Speedy check-in. Good value breakfast. 10 minutes from airport.
Cons: Room not warm enough.
Good 7.0
Pros: Nice to have a full sized room and bathroom after the economy rooms of Italy. Water was nice and hot!
Cons: The WiFi is available if you are willing to enter your email and password. Our bathtub was elevated. Stores & mall were about a 10 minute walk away if you didn’t have a car. The shuttle from the airport ends at 23:00.
Okay 4.6
Pros: It was about what was expected for a cheap hotel near the airport.
Cons: The noise coming from the parking lot was a little loud.
Good 6.3
Pros: The bed was fine. The room basic. Bathroom not so good.
Cons: Bathroom not very clean and shower was terrible
Good 7.9
Pros: The hotel was fine in every respect.
Cons: Terrible thumping noise that went on all night above us. Despite complaining nothing was done about it and we got no sleep.
Good 7.9
Pros: Everyone was helpful and friendly
Cons: Felt it was expensive
Good 7.0
Pros: N/A
Cons: There is a saying..Never judge a book by its cover....But i have learned to judge Hotels by their outside appearance, so on approach I noted hedges not tended to... Car Park with loose chippings, litter, and cigarette butts...and a dull atmosphere,- lack of vibrancy.... Otherwise it was OK for a one night stay, the room was clean, but cold, maybe that was my feeling as I just flew in from Croatia @ 30*... Mike & Ella Leyden
Excellent 8.3
Pros: We liked the two cool guys at the reception desk at midnight, the basic breakfast on site, and the shuttle to the airport.
Cons: Not very updated but it was clean. I had to ask for a hairdryer it wasn’t in the room. Outlets were needed by the bed for my CPAP machine. I had to stretch it across the room.
