Pros: Gorgeous boutique hotel! It was very clean, chic and large! All the staff are so friendly and the hotel is in a great location. Only 5 mins walk to the beach and plenty great bars and restaurants on the doorstep and nearby. Customer service was very important to all the staff.

Cons: We have stayed here before and found everything a little dated as nothing appears to have been done since then. Chairs and lounges old and uncomfortable, broken sun umbrellas and some of the towels were so old they had holes in them. A DVD player is available with complimentary DVD’s but most were old, scratched and stopped part way through. A real issue for us was that they allowed a guest to play loud reggae music and Irish dirges on their balcony day after day. Despite complaints from a number of guests (one in writing) nothing was done. Sitting by the pool trying to relax was impossible.

Pros: We had a lagoon access room which was nice, having a terrace outside. In the evening sun was going down over the lagoon. Pool is nice and clean, with sea view. Service at the pool was incredible. In the evening the bar has a DJ and great cocktails. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and it was very good. Dinner was good, but nothing special. In general the hotel has great stuff and it is very well organized that the customers have a great stay. Location is good, a lot of restaurants and bars around and shopping options. The beach is usable, but we spent most of the time at the pool. They also have a policy of booking and you can get a discount if you book 60 or 90+days in advance. They also have some private pool rooms with sea view.

The staff are friendly and have excellent service. Moreover, there is a happy hour, you can listen to the live music on the rooftop and see the sunset in the evening. There is a variety of breakfast menu. That's all perfect relaxing time at the Maya Sanur Resort & Spa.

Cons: We did upgrade from a lagoon view room to lagoon access, and even though they were helpful and made it possible, they charge the full room price not just the difference between two booking prices. Also, when you book on their homepage you get a free airport transfer. So if we would have booked on their website we would have had some extra facilities, but if we upgraded and booked with them it did not count.

Pros: It was a lovely hotel, very well designed and had the Bali aesthetic. Staff were very helpful and sweet. Breakfast buffet was generous and you are seated by the sea. The area where the hotel is located is more suited to families and people who wish to relax. The sea in front of the hotel is very calm. The hotel itself it great and very accommodating and not too far (25min drive) from Denpasar Airport. Diving or Snorkelling can be easily arranged to Nusa Penida.

Cons: Extending your stay for a few more hours because your flight leaves in the evening only is a bit steep. It's almost the same amount as for a full night!

Pros: Great beachfront hotel close to restaurants, Stayed in Village II Club Room. Attendant was excellent, complimentary cocktails a great way to meet others and the Village II pool area was peaceful and relaxing.
Cons: Little disappointed on arrival, found Village II sun lounges and day beds had quite a lot of dirty marks and the pool towels were quite stained, also our rooms shower was mouldy. Enjoyed the Village II environment, it wouldn't take much for them to fix these small problems and then this place would be unbeatable for value and quality..

Pros: Cannot praise this hotel enough. Totally beautifull, lovely well thought out grounds, fabulous staff, our deluxe bungalow was great-and the price incredible! Would definatley recommend.
Cons: Internet charges at the hotel were really expensive-but thee is a bout a million internet cafes within 5 minutes walking, so it wasnt a great problem, just slightly annoying they were so greedy with it (10000 ruppee a minute, the much quicker one round the corner was 6000 for 15 minutes.

Cons: The bedroom (Frangipani Suite) was a real disappointment and would stop me recommending this place. The lighting in the bedroom was dreadful. During the day it is so dark and gloomy and then in the evenings you have to use your phone lights to see what you're doing properly. In complete contrast, when you then are trying to sleep its incredibly bright; the aircon has a blue light and the curtains don't reach the floor so the outside lighting shines through. The room also doesn't work practically, there were not enough surfaces to hang things or put things down on. This is noisy room also, we were aware of this when we booked it so not a problem but if you are a light sleeper don't choose here.

Cons: It was too small. And the rooms had no privacy with half of the room in glass doors. There was nothing to do at the villa but sit in your room or be exposed with the curtains open if you wanted day light in your room. And the pool was too cold for the pleasant weather sanur had. They should heat it slightly at night.

Cons: During our holiday in Bali we stayed the last night in this hotel. The hotel helped us perfectly to adapt from a relaxing holiday to our daily life. We experienced Bali as a very friendly and hospitable country, but unfortunately this hotel has adopted a different approach. We didn't feel very welcome. I wouldn't suggest this hotel if you require the "Bali" experience.

Cons: Some of the food and drinks could improve. We gave up on the cocktails as they were not nice or some of the food. Not good enough when you pay $14 for a salad that is just lettuce. Ran out of quite a few ingredients for some meals so we had to chose something else. Options on the lunch menu not great but had nice meals on the dinner menu. Is a little far from the beach with little kids but if you have a pram it is ok or take the shuttle

Pros: Our room was excellent, overlooking the main pool, large and very clean. Very quiet in the hotel but plenty of shops, bars and restaurants just on the door step. Not easy to get to the beach but we're not beach people so it wasn't an issue. The staff were lovely always happy to help. The breakfast was sufficient but I have had better . We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay there again.

Cons: From the outside, the bungalows look nice but once inside it is ugly and way too old! It is really shameful, pictures look much better than what it is. The decoration is like 60s, the seats were old, the flood dirty and marked, same for the bathroom. I had to request a change after seeing my first room. The second was slightly better but still not great, I really did not want to spend time in there. In the bathroom you are greeted each time by mosquitoes. Be careful to your door lock from outside as it can be so old it is about to break Staff members didn’t seem keen on letting me checking in early. I then had an issue with the toilet, I waited two hours the technician still didn’t make it until I checked out. The pool is very small. The welcome drink is an industrial ice tea/apple juice.. it’s not even freshly made compared to other hotels j stayed, again SHAME! The glass is tiny as well And the beach... no towels lent and it is actually impossible to swim, the tide is always too low you can only put your feet. Honestly just spend more money for another hotel south of Sanur beach it will be much nicer and worth it

Pros: This is the 3rd time I have stayed at the Parigata, the 1st two visits with my husband and this time on my own. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. The hotel courtesy car provided a free service to anywhere in Sanur. Although not situated on the beach, there is a beach club only 7 minutes walk away and an hourly transport service to and from the beach. Also the beach is just at the end of the alleyway. The hotel is small with lovely gardens and the rooms are built around an large attractive pool with a waterfall at one end. The restaurant overlooks the pool and waterfall. The outlay gives an intimate friendly atmosphere but also provides privacy. I will certainly return here next visit.

Cons: To the more elderly person, the shower which is over the bath is a problem as it has a wide lip which makes it difficult to get into. The smooth tiles in the bathroom if wet are also a little dangerous unless you take care. However at I managed well enough even though I had lower back pain at the time.

Cons: Having to get in and out of the bath for a shower was dangerous for us old people - needs a shower recess. No power in room when we took out our key card, so room got very warm during the day.

Pros: This hotel was wow. When we arrived we got a free upgrade to the rooms with private pool access. This was a perfect way to chill out after a long flight journey. The beds were comfy and the rooms were clean. The reception were lovely and helped us to book our taxi/boat to Gili the next day.

Pros: This hotel, has a great pool and is in a really good location. It’s not on the beach but it is in the heart of Sanur with a hotel shuttle that will take you to their private area of the beach with day beds.
Cons: It is a very dark hotel, the balcony feels like a prison with wood slates. It was hard to see in the rooms and bathroom, as it had hardly any natural light and not very good lights. The bathroom was a bit mouldy. We stayed in their duplex with our kids, but the stairs up to the second room were very steep and not safe for children.

Cons: We where not notified that the single beds could not be possible. Plus I also booked a room with a lagoon access, which ended up being a ground floor room and you walk to the pool. Was not worth the extra money.

Cons: The bathroom was a mess. grout very mouldy and the drains smelled awful. the finishes were far from 4 star. the shower took a million years to heat up and given our distance from reception our wifi just would not stay connected which was very very frustrating at times. The rooms are also quite loud. you can hear everything happening in the hallway outside the rooms.
