Pros: This hostel is picture perfect. The vibe is awesome, everyone staying here was so friendly and sociable so it would be a great place for single travellers to make friends. Laura, the owner, is incredibly friendly and generous, and really wants you to have an awesome stay. The volunteers were also super helpful and nice. Thank you for an awesome stay - hopefully nos vemos pronto! ;)

Pros: Great, magical place. I liked easy wibe of the hostel. I came with the bicycle to do some trails in Sintra and there was no problem with the bike beaing inside.

Cons: The only thing I didn't like is that you can't cook before 1pm, so if you're used to making breakfast eggs while you're staying you'll have to choose other things to eat.

Pros: Breakfast was great; yoghurt, fruit, cereals, milk, bread, butter, jam, etc. No meat or cheese, but you can get all these things from local markets that are close-by (one across the street, another at about 15min by foot). I loved the staff. Laura and Valentina are a great time; very welcoming, warm, and fun to be around. They were also helpful in driving me around to activities, booking the taxi to the airport, and other short trips I needed to make. The activities there are also a great bonus. I only tried surfing, but there is yoga (studio in the house!), rock climbing, wind surfing, etc. Definitely something to do every day and for every taste. The beach is not next to the house (about 20 minutes walk), but I enjoyed this. It's a nice walk through the woods, and a nice meditation on your way to the beach. The view from the balcony is also a big plus; you get to enjoy the mountain and the beach at the same time. Great job, girls. Would definitely return.

Cons: The shower downstairs has a bit of a delay for hot water but it was not a big problem.

Pros: The house is perfectly situated for running in Sintra, reaching Lisbon and water for Kite, Wind surfing or just Surfing. The entire place is spotless. Laura and Valentina my hosts during the stay where super helpful. The place is really relaxed, tried Yoga for the first time. Wow that stuff is hard, but I like that its good. They also can arrange rock climbing and many other things. Nice breakfast too. Many thanks xx

Pros: Amazing place, people and vibes. Laura and her staff made every moment perfect. This place is magical and full with positive vibes. My stay is more over my expectations, a wonderful travel, a nice experience mainly because of the people at the Guesthouse. I am very thankful for Laura for everything.

Pros: The place was really nice and relaxed, its good if you want to be in the nature or so kitesurfing and surfing. Nice atmosphere.

Cons: It's not central if you want to go to lisbon and Cascais. It's good to have a car or go by Uber.

Pros: Location outstanding. View from room (room #3) was absolutely beautiful, with a lovely balcony looking out over the beach. The bar is the best place in Cascais to have a sunset drink. Breakfast was great. Room was huge and hotel is lovely, much more than we expected. Bar has about 25 wines on tasting in their vending machine. Could not fault it. Cascais is also very beautiful.

Pros: All the staff were friendly and helpful, from those working one the front desk to those working in the restaurant. They all spoke English well. Our bedroom, overlooking the seafront, was large and nicely decorated. There was a large amount of cupboard space and the bathroom was good. The food for breakfast was first rate, as was the food and drink in the restaurant, especially sitting on the veranda drinking sangria, watching the sun go down. The location could not be better - close to the station and on the seafront. It was a perfect location and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We stayed 5 nights and used it as a base for exploring Cascais and for day trips to Sintra and Lisbon.

Pros: The hotel is in a perfect location in Cascais surrounded by restaurants and bars with lovely views over the harbour. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: It is expensive to stay and probably not up to 5 stars. Tea and Coffee facilities are not in your room they are in the hallway - Tea bags only. Taxis booked via reception are by private limo and very expensive.

Pros: We thought we had booked the Hotel Albatroz so the Villa and its location was a big disappointment. However the staff made us most welcome. The bed was most uncomfortable and the room not quite what we expected. However we did enjoy our stay.

Pros: Central location by the seaside.Villa Albatroz is the sister hotel of Hotel Albatroz and therefor allows access to the pool of Hotel Albatroz where one can relax when the beaches are too crowded and/or too hot. There one can have lunch as well, with a fantastic view to the sea and beaches.

Cons: Villa Albatroz is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, but I expect a few of those stars are "inherited" from Hotel Alabtroz. It has a good location but unless you get a discount it's not good value for money. Our room was a Standard Double with Sea View, but you had to stretch your neck to see the sea. Most rooms do not have a balcony. Breakfast was a bit dull as well.

The staff were friendly and helful and I felt like I was known there rather than room number one - take the room 1 as it has a small balcony and you can hear the waves from the beach - it was very comfortable.

Pros: The breakfast is wonderful. A nice selection of pastries, jams eggs, scrambled eggs bacon and sausage and other goodies. We loved the location, you can walk everywhere in the old town and a 2 or three kilometer beach walk is right outside your door. The rooms are very classy and a nice size balcony to relax.

Pros: I loved this spot. It's in the middle of the action but is shockingly quiet. I had a suite with a balcony and beach view and enjoyed falling asleep and waking up to the ocean sounds. The room was fantastic and invited lengthy lounging. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Pros: Beautiful house and lovely pool. Great place if you need a break from a day sightseeing, to come back to a beautiful garden and lay on the comfy sun beds at the pool. Breakfast options are good and tasty.

Cons: We arrived at 13h00 at the property and were welcomed by a lovely lady, who informed us that our room wasn't ready yet. We expected that, so we left our bagages at the reception, were given the key to the room and continued our day. About 6 hours later we can back to find our bagages still at the reception, it would have been nice gesture if they were brought to our room, but it was probably a misunderstanding at our end. We booked the Twin room, but I do not recommend it. It's not in the main house and you have the feeling of sleeping in a garden shed. We obviously booked this room knowing this, but it was still a bit of a disappointment especially for the price we paid (€183 a night). The room was small and felt a bit damp. The floor of the bathroom needs a re-do because you can see where people walked as it is discoloured. I won't say dirty because our room was cleaned daily, but it gives this impression. Especially to see the marks where people put their feet when sitting on the toilet is not very appealing... We've had 2 occasions when we turned on the shower a foul smell came out of the shower drain. Didn't report this because I saw it was reported by another guests on the internet, and assumed nothing would change anyway. One morning around 9am we were surprised by the music played on a big speaker next to our room. I'd advise to move the speaker, as not everyone might appreciate to have a speaker next to their room. Overall we didn't have a great experience and unfortunately won't come back. We didn't feel the warmth of a guesthouse. Upon check-out we were bringing some of our bagages to the car before doing the checkout as we had quite a few bagages, where the hostess came "running after us" saying that we still needed to check-out. We got the impression she thought we were leaving without checking out... Not a great feeling to leave with.

Pros: Very relaxing environment. Good service . Clean . Good breakfast and food. Hosts do everything to make live comfortable .

Cons: Sometimes it ook some time to get thins done but this is probable that we are coming from hectic working environment where things have to be done immidiately. Pool could be heated with solar energy to make it possible to swim even in colder periods. Will be appreciated by several guest during our stay!

Pros: A very nice guesthouse / hotel, our room was particularly nice and the staff were very welcoming and eager to please. Breakfasts were a treat!

Pros: breakfast was good, although extra was charged for any coffee not out of coffee flask. It seems that the property wasnt quite as advertised...no free pick-ups from airport...no afternoon teas...no wine tasting or yacht trips available.

Pros: A real home from home. We stayed for 3 nights after travelling down from St Malo, France, to visit the Harley Davidson Rally in Cascais. So I was more than pleased when the guest house more than exceeded my expectations. They allowed us to park our motorbikes behind the security gates, which is always a bonus. We had a big comfortable room with big light bathroom. Breakfast was full of choice, and very well presented. What more could you say, everyone made our stay perfect.

Pros: The Villa is a beautiful property, and very tastefully decorated. Our room, number 3 is a lovely light-filled room with a view of the back/side garden and the pool area. The bathroom in number 3 is very luxurious, full walk-in shower with Rainfall shower head and a hand-held power shower. The bed was very comfortable. (Two twin beds pushed together to make a huge double) There is ample storage space for clothing and other items with a rail and two big drawers, as well as a very handy hat stand which we used for our jackets and scarves. My partner used the pool a few times and said it was lovely, and that it was deep. The location could not be better, it's a short stroll from the Cascais town centre in a lovely residential area. There are a couple of very good cafes and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. It rained a couple of days while we were there and the accommodation had plenty of umbrellas for guests to use.

Cons: The cooked food for breakfast was just ok, it was quite cold a few days that we had it. Although the cook, Isabelle did offer us fried eggs a couple of mornings. And everything else at breakfast was lovely and well stocked.

Pros: Perfect resort for a family. We stayed in a duplex 3BR property with fully equipped kitchen and a large living room, during Xmas vacation. Property was cleaned daily (sometimes a bit too late). Property has a small private pateo and even during Xmas we had a few lunches outside. There’s a big garden and a wonderful swimming pool. Resort is very quiet.

Cons: Well located in Cascais, but a car is required to go to town center or to the beach - just plan accordingly. The resort has a high-end bakery and a nice restaurant, but the supermarket is in fact not working properly.

Pros: Nice resort, with all needed facilities. The bakery in the resort is awesome! Car needed as the beach and also the Cascais downtown is bit far by walking. We did not use the bikes, but rental possible. Thank you to cahrwomen, as they did every day a very good job. Obrigado Bicuda!

Pros: Lovely place, great for a nice relaxing holiday but close enough to everything if needs be, you will need a car for day trips, supermarket etc. Very clean, staff are extremely nice and helpful. Very minor issue is that the villas would very much benefit from a washing machine, the onsite laundry is expensive and being a family of 5 with small children it would be a real benefit. Other than that no complaints at all.

Pros: Staff extra friendly and eager to fulfill every need... cute litte bakery with awesome fresh food. Convenient mini market.

Pros: Pretty much everything. The kids are in heaven and it's big enough (and with few enough rooms) not to feel overwhelmed by young children. The staff are truly excellent and do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
