Pros: Excellent service, clean and comfortable room. A bit of a walk from the main sites, not a problem for us at all but might be tricky for others (hotel always willing to book taxis though so not really a negative!) Thorougly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Cons: On a trip to several countries, the Boscolo staff was definitely the least friendly of all the hotels we stayed at. I'm not sure if it was because we were younger than their typical crowd splurging on a nice hotel or what but they seemed like the couldn't care less that we were there. They were not very helpful, and two employees confirmed that we had prepaid for breakfast then the host at the breakfast buffet informed us after we ate that it was not included and presented us with a bill. The hotel did nothing to attempt to explain why this had happened.

Pros: The day time house cleaning staff needs attention. Our room was not made up either morning of our stay. When informed, the hotel was responsive. The room was beaufiful and the bathroom large and luxurious. The location of hotel was very good. We would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Pros: The lobby is magnificent, the room was lovely. It's about 15 min from the "center" IE the chain bridge. Pieter the concierge is wonderful and very helpful. The food is hit or miss, I enjoyed the goulash and parsely spaetzle. Most of the desserts were too sweet.

Pros: Beautiful historic building with lavish features inside and out. No detail overlooked from front desk customer service to house keeping, everyone is friendly, professional and efficient. A well oiled machine that has exceeded our expectations on multiple visits.

Pros: This hotel was in the most perfect location! The Xmas market was right behind the hotel, the river and Chain bridge were about 2-3 blocks away, and the famous shopping street, Vaci uti was 1 block away. The rooms were so comfortable, and they provided slippers and plush bathrobes.
Cons: The perfumed smell in the lobby and hallways was a bit overwhelming (luckily it did not permeate the rooms or it would have been a problem). They kept playing an Ad for their hotel on the TV which I found sexist and offensive (showing their maid taking a bubble bath and dressing in a lace thong before coming to work at the Kempinski hotel chain (what is that all about?).

Cons: Only my first day was I able to use the sauna. I was the one who had to discover that it is broken and over heating. I had a burn mark from the previous day and the next morning I discovered that the thermo meter is not working any more it was extremely hot in there and since they could not fix the problem they had to shut it down for the rest of my stay... Cons: Parking is a lil bit expensive compared with other hotels. On the first look, rooms look really nice, but it is easy to see in some corners minor reparations could be necessary. I would say, a better technical maintenance would keep rooms looking newer.

Pros: Staff were good enough. The location is very good. Easy to walk to get some drinks, buy toiletries, and some restaurants and nightclubs in the area. You can walk to Danube from here.

Pros: Views (once we moved room)
Cons: When we arrived to celebrate our anniversary, we were told we had been allocated a twin room as requested. I showed the staff our confirmation and we were told there were no other rooms available unbelievably until the following day. We returned mid afternoon next day and asked if our new room was ready to be told none available. After insisting they look again an upgraded room was miraculously found to which we moved. Upon checkout we had been charged the upgrade price but only for one of the two nights due to our inconvenience. Do not plan to stay there again.

Pros: The hotel had a beautiful lobby and the rooms were well-equipped and clean. At first blush, the neighborhood seemed quite gritty but upon further exploration, we found some great restaurants and cafes and ended up really liking the location.
Cons: The standard room we booked was quite cramped with a king-sized bed. Also, the hotel charges an extra fee to use the pool and sauna.

Pros: Such a unique and lovely hostel. The location was wonderful, the staff was friendly and helpful, and they serve free dinner 3 nights a week! I really enjoyed using the kitchen and that there was a common space for everyone to hang out, it was a good way to make friends and meet new people.
Cons: The free breakfast left more to be desired, but they do have a free coffee machine where you can make assorted drinks.

Pros: The hotel is less than 100m off one of the main streets. But it still manages to be a quiet area. It is very close to all means of public transportation and within two blocks of one of the premier shopping malls in the city. The hotel staff was very professional and courteous without being pushy or in your way. Please note that this applies to all shifts and staff positions.
Cons: The room I had was too small. There was barely enough room to walk around the beds. If you are on business and just expect to sleep in the hotel, then you probably won't notice. I would strongly recommend an upgrade. Your room size upgrades also

Pros: My husband and I spent 2 nights in Marmara Hotel. We loved every bit of it. City Center, breakfast, staff, clean, price. I can't name one thing which is against this Hotel. If I ever go back to Budapest I will stay here again for sure.
