7.9 Good
Pros: We appreciated most the comfort of the beds and the jacuzzi in the room.
Cons: The breakfast is ok, but nothing special for such a pricey 4-star hotel. The fact that there is no reception after 18:00 is quite a joke really.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Theme rooms

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness of staff when arriving.
Cons: All OK
7.5 Good
Pros: Good breakfast. Nice location and view.
Cons: This sounds trivial but it was our first impression when entering the room. The bottle of water on top of the mini bar had a ticket with 'Welcome (4€)' written on it. A really strange 'Welcome'!! Either no water or water with no price tag would be better.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Room size. The cellar bar.
Cons: A fan in room would have been nice as it can get exceptional hot
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location, good view- if you take the room with the view to river Mosel. Simple, good breakfast, but not so good and various as in usual another 4* hotel in Germany. Free public parking near hotel on the bank of Mosel, but difficult to find the place.
Cons: Rooms are outdated, especially bathrooms. We expected for more after good reviews and price we’ve paid. Lift stopped with us inside and didn’t moved for some minutes, need to repair to avoid an accident. Maybe it happened just for us, but main big minus- unpleasant receptionist woman on welcome. At first on check- in, she really saw us standing at reception desk, but it took five minutes while she came from her computer. It seemed to us that it depends on heavy constitution meaning really hard to work. Then no smile for customers on meeting and no any wider explanation, just she gave us one key, instead of 2 rooms, told us to wait again for another key for some minutes. During this pause we asked about swimming pool- no any normal explanation again, just - you can use it . When we came there, no bathrobes, no towels, no slippers for that either in the rooms either in swimming pool. Again we had to come to reception and to ask about that. She rudely told us that we needed to read a book in the room! If I was an owner. I would like to know about that. What a shame to service of 4*, especially customers had asked about that in advance. You need to pay for wasche ( each bathrobe/ 3 Eur) and bring all this big package- bathrobes with towels, slippers for 4 people to swimming pool again alone . If you want to feel absolutely different super service and get super tasty breakfast , you need to try Rheinfels castle, also 4*, in where we stayed next night for comparison.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The room was spacious and quiet
Cons: The hotel needs an upgrade! The Bathroom was was old and it looked like there was black mold in corners. The furniture and room was not up to todays standard for a four star hotel. We where handed only one key at check in wich we found strange. There was no watm water next morning and we where not told this any time in the evening. So next morning at 6:30 am we found out that it was missing. Warm water is something you expect on a 4 star hotel. When asking the staff they just shook their sholders and said that it had been gone since yesterday evening. They also said that there was no technician on the hotel and they had no 24/7 agreement to call one! This at a 4 star hotel!!! When I asked for a refund or at least a discount the staff became not so friendly. There was no understanding of this failour in delivery. Should you not be excpecting warm water for the shower? After a not so friendly conversation the hotel axcepted to give a discount on 20%. Should you have to argue to get a discount from the hotel when they don't forfill a crusual part of their delivery? This experiance was very poor and this hotel is not worthy their four stars, espessialy when the staff dosen't care about the customer and the customers needs.

7.9 Good
Pros: As vegans, we ate there every breakfast, lunch and dinner of the three days we were there. And it was great, it is already very special for vegans to be able to just take everything from a buffet, or menu, so many choices, without a worry in the world. We liked the concept of the different restaurants, both fancy or casual/homey. So we at a lot, and with very few exceptions liked or loved everything we ordered. The chef is clearly very aware of modern vegan cuisine, not hippy/new-age/bean-salad/health-freakish but just accessible, hearty, tasty gourmet food, that happens to be vegan. Amazing location: very beautiful area, peaceful, perfect for a relaxing escape. The fairly recent, clean sauna complex is a perfect addition for a relaxation holiday. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: We had to get used to the 1980s style of the building and decor, it is sometimes a fine (and subjective) line between "rustique" and "daggy". Sure, some of it is charming, like the old clocks in the restaurant, but the rooms really do need an update to get the level of comfort that you expect in 2018 for this price. To name just two small examples, the bathroom was really outdated and had a little bit of mould because of this (not because of a lack of cleanliness though), the daggy curtains let through all the street light so the room wasn't very dark at night. The hotel was understaffed. The reception people had to work in the kitchen during lunch and dinner, so reception was left empty and they were very hard to reach. Sometimes we had to wait ridiculously long at the restaurant just to ask for a glass of water or something (like an hour) and this was particularly hard because we were with a toddler that gets bored and impatient (though the restaurants are supposed to be child-friendly, apart from the food service matters as well in this regard). As mentioned before, most of the staff were very nice, but there was unfortunately one exception. One of the staff members made us feel like she really disliked us and didn't want to deal with us. Was it because we didn't speak German and she struggled in English? Or because we were impatient at the restaurant a few times - because of our toddler and she was under stress? She did appear to be nicer to other guests and this really gave us an unwelcome feeling sometimes.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The Breakfas is not tasty ( vegetarian food) unappetizing fruit but for drinks is OK and about the room bed is very hard, Do not add soap when finished , the room is not so bad the view is beautiful
Cons: Cleaning
8.3 Excellent
Pros: View of the river from our room with balcony. Super pool & saunas. Overall cleanliness.
Cons: External colour of the paint, yellow/orange. The solid painted metal balcony. Glass would have given clear views of the river. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room - there were none. No robes or towels for use by the pool.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was 4 or 5 years since the last time we visited this Hotel, it always amazes us and enjoyable stay.
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff were nice and friendly.
Cons: Wifi didn’t work. For the price we paid we could have stayed at a nicer hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything is OK
7.1 Good
Pros: The breakfast was great! No meat on the cheeseplate!, No mixes of meat and vegan/ vegetarian food. Very nice!!!!! Nothing to declare about food to the hotel.
Cons: Dinner, The lady did forget to service my drink, even to make my table decent with knife and vork besides the place for my meal. Not a nice servet. And after I did eat, no question about it. She just put the stuff away. No question about coffe or icecream. So....good be more nice. And the noise early in the morning outside. A truck, to put stuff in or out. It was even not 6 in the morning. Two times it happens. BUT!!!!! Vegan hotel and the sauna and pool, great!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great buffet breakfast with lots of interesting vegan things to choose from. Excellent dinners, also everything vegan. Really nice not to have to look for things to eat, everything was an option. Very friendly staff, super helpful. Good saunas and pool.
Cons: Bathroom was a little tired and could do with updating.
7.0 Good
Pros: Vegan breakfast was a surprise. I liked the cereals. I missed whole grain bread.

Pros: Good breakfast, friendly owners, nice rooms !
Cons: They charge an 8 euro pet fee which i find ridiculous when you decide to be a pet frindly hotel
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was Amazing. We visited off-season, I would love to return in the spring time as the facilities are in a great location, near the Moselle River. Lovely wine themed room decorations from a local artist who we met at the Christmas market
Cons: I was happy with the hotel and location and breakfast staff was lovely everything was fantastic
8.8 Excellent
Pros: First impression: the hotel and rooms seemed a bit tired, but once settled we appreciated the size of the room, the modern touches, cute twists in the decor (wine theme) and the coziness of the place. But the big game changer was the most amazing breakfast we have ever had! (my husband is a huge brekki fan, and we do travel a bit). Words will not explain! Good fresh local products, generous amounts of everything, even eggs made for you on spot! make your own waffle! We ate until we couldnt take another bite! We will be back!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed everything, excellent food, very nice atmosphere and really friendly staff, for questions available all time.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We (family with 1 kid and 1 baby) wanted to relax and booked for a long weekend (2 nights) at the Hotel Zeltinger-Hof - Gasthaus des Rieslings. Everything was just superior: the apartment, the breakfast, the staff, the restaurant, the rural location. The hotel is a few minutes away by car from the nearby city Bernkastel-Kues, a very characteristic village in the Mosel wine region. We highly recommend Hotel Zeltinger-Hof - Gasthaus des Rieslings!
Cons: Nothing worth mentioning that we didn't like. Actually everything was above our expectations as described in the section above. Perhaps the rain was the only negative factor! :-)

Pros: A great location to stay at when in Zeltingen. The room was nice and cool even though this was in the middle of the European heatwave of the summer of 2019 (it was 30-35 degrees celcius outside and it had been like that for weeks). Next door is the legendary Zeltinger Hof restaurant with its 150 different wines per glass and almost 100-page wine list (most of which is local German riesling, yay!).

Moselhotel Weiskopf - Bernkastel-Kues - Building

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Moselhotel Weiskopf in Bernkastel-Kues, you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Landshut Castle and Winery Dr. Loosen. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel is modern and clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. There is a pleasant balcony area and coffee, tea and drinks are available on an 'honesty' basis. There is a secure area to keep bicycles. The breakfast was very good. The receptionist was very obliging in allowing us to leave our car at the hotel.
Cons: The room was very small and cramped with a fairly ineffective fan so it was very difficult to sleep as the weather was so hot during our stay. The sound insulation between the rooms was also poor - we could hear other people talking and walking around in the rooms next to us. The hotel was difficult to find and is situated at the top of a steep hill and luggage has to be dropped off and cars normally left in the public car park in the town.
9.0 Excellent
Cons: More choice needed
7.5 Good
Pros: It was tiny but confortable. Near the town center Breakfast was good too
Cons: It was noisy and it didn’t have a lift.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good. Location was perfect.
Cons: We could not find the hotel using gps. We drove around for 30 minutes trying to find the hotel before we parked by the river and walked around until we found the hotel up the hill. We did not realize that you cannot drive up to the hotel, but must walk up the street. Once we were told that the parking was down by the river for 5.00 eu per day, it was not problem. I would suggest that as part of the confirmation what booking, they gave detailed info about parking and arrival.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Conveniently located guesthouse, just north of the cute old town of Bernkastel, and on a quiet street. Would happily recommend this place.
Cons: Getting the car in and out of the guesthouse's car park up the road is not for the faint-hearted struggling with their hire car. Plenty of restaurants to walk to, including the guesthouse's own.

Pros: Great location, nice clean room with a lovely view of the street
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Great room
Cons: No elevator for third flour
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This accommodation delighted us. We selected it because a previous review had mentioned bike storage. The instructions for the key and our room were exact. Bikes stored in an amazing cave and our 'room' was actually 3: large bedroom, lounge and excellent shower room. All were spotless and modern. Our rooms were at the back of the building and therefore against the hill behind. There was no view but a tiny outside seating area which was almost part of the rock. The location in the old town was very convenient and quiet. Breakfast selection was comprehensive. Would definitely return and recommend.
Cons: No dislikes
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, beautiful rooms, better than expected. The communication about the check-in process was easy to follow. Happy to have parking even though it wasn't perfect. Great location in this charming village. Would stay again!
Cons: If you can't walk stairs, it won't be for you, though it wasn't a problem for us. The parking was a tight fit, but it worked. We didn't need the car during our stay so we just needed to get in and out once, I can imagine doing it multiple times would be a headache.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Would stay again!
Cons: We loved the accommodation and location. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere, and the breakfast was great!. Absolutely fantastic value, highly recommended!
7.5 Good
Pros: The owner/manager was amazing. She met us outside and helped us to our room close to the front desk closing..she went above and beyond for us.
Cons: The front desk was "closed" when we wanted to check out. We didn't have ANY information on how to pay our bill. The maid was incredibly rude and we were treated pretty oddly when we tried to check out.

Pros: Breakfast was adequate.
Cons: Facilities in the Winzer Haus are not to the same standard as the main hotel. Cleaning of our room was extremely late in the day. The standard of the towels could be improved. Most couples booking a double room would like a chair for two and not just one where the second person has to use the bed to relax or read.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice small hotel, breakfast was very good
7.9 Good
Pros: Hotel modern and clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast excellent. Restaurant very good. Bed very good. Room light and spacious.
Cons: steep steps to 2nd floor. Shower unit very small. Nothing in direct neighbourhood. Walk into town via hill.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, comfortable, great parking, great food all the things you need from a good hotel. 5 minutes walk from the river and 7 minutes from the restaurants and shops over the bridge. If you don't want to walk, the Hotel Restaurant was very very good.
Cons: Pillows was too soft, but hey that's Germany and very much a personal thing that will not stop us going back. The wine selection is awesome but if like me you like a good Whisky then no choices available.

Double room comfort: The comfort rooms not only offer more space, they also have additional seating areas, in-room safes and flat-screen TVs. All rooms offer views of the Moselle. The hotel's privileged location in the midst of the medieval old town with a unique view of the Moselle River makes the special atmosphere of the newly renovated house. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay at the hotel was much too short. Bernkastel-Kues and the surrounding area has so much to offer that we could only enjoy it for a brief period of time. Loved being a very short walk to the village center, which is absolutely beautiful at Christmas. Superb breakfast included at cafe next door (our favorite breakfast on the entire trip). Friendly staff. Parking was across the street on the river, a very short walk, and the hotel provided a parking pass. Will stay there again.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
8.0 Excellent

Cons: No air conditioning
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Marvellous view on the Mosel. Take the rooms with 'river view' mentioned. Excellent location
Cons: Surprisingly, there were works beside the hotel, as a complete building is re-built. We didn't hear nor see any disturbances, though.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Well, very much similar to prior reviews, breakfast is fantastic. Reception was good and informative. Besides an excellent place to stay to taste the sphere of the town, it's also a good base for walks along the river and the surrounding wineyards with forests beyond these.
Cons: Fellow guests could have been more respectful of other guests
10.0 Excellent
Pros: OMG, this hotel was just amazing!!! The room was huge by European standards, and the view from our two big windows was just stunning!!! Located right by the bridge. Parking was a breeze. Super comfortable beds and pillows. This room included a good-sized sitting area with a full size sofa and chairs. Lovely bathroom. We only stayed one night, but wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely recommend!!!!
